  1. What do you mean by deathmatch? How would that be played? Highest kills wins?
  2. Just wondering if there's been anything said about what future warzones might bring us? I personally would love a capture the flag mechanic. That or something like the railroads in Team Fortress 2, where you escort a cart across enemy lines into the final base.
  3. Thanks for the quick response! Glad to see we don't go ignored here on the forums, and I'm glad to see the issue is going to be fixed!
  4. I just queued for random hard modes as DPS, and several times i had to update my role because it kept putting me as heals. Then as the queue popped and i took it, it ported me in and my role was set to heals... I DONT HAVE a healing spec, nor do i have a set... Please fix the damn bug, i'm sick of having to leave groups that i just sat in a long queue to get into, all because this bug is setting me as a role i'm not fit to perform!
  5. The visibility of my lightning abilities is very buggy. More often than not, all i can see of lightning strike and force lightning is the glow on the ground. Sometimes it's just a few jolts, and in the extremely rare case, i can see all of the lightning with jolts randomly disappearing, or just coming out of 1 hand. Is anybody else having this issue? And does anybody have a possible solution for me? I've tried running the fix tool and even reinstalling the game, but to no success.
  6. How do the fools at Bioware not see this? Im level 41 in full level 40 PVP gear and i quite literally just got 3 shot by an operative while fully stunned because my release had 14 seconds left on its cooldown. The fact that a level 39 can 3 shot a fully geared out level 41 Bounty Hunter, Is rather rediculous. The class balance regarding operatives is worse than that of Frost mages in WoW.
  7. If Blizzard did it around 2007 or so, theres really no reason it should be such an issue for a "cutting edge" company in 2012.
  8. Id be willing to wager it's MUCH more than just 50% who want addons.
  9. And i never said i specifically want addons. Read my first sentence. I would be perfectly happy if they added an in game damage meter to the regular UI. One that you could minimize when you choose, and link to chat. I want to be able to compare myself to my guild mates and friends. Simply put. If you dont like addons. You dont HAVE to use them. Nobody will force you. Addons are better fit for satisfying the community. If they added it to the regular in game UI, you wouldnt be able to choose whether or not to use it. It would always be there. If it were an addon, you 100% have the option of whether or not to add it to your game.
  10. My backup is that everybody who i speak to in WoW about having crap DPS, claim they dont use addons, or have never heard of addons. I honestly dont see any other reason somebody would be so against a damage meter, other than you dont want people to notice you dont care enough about your character to learn your rotation/gear/spec, in order to excell with it.
  11. What's the point of learning your rotation and spending all that time trying to be the best you can be, if you cant even see your results? It's like taking a test and never finding out whether or not you passed or failed, after you spent hours studying.
  12. The makers of video games (Bioware, Blizzard, ETC) dont make the addons.. They open up the files so that addons can be added. The community make their own addons and share them with other people. It would in no way take time and resources away from developing new content. They would simply have to make the game files open to additions.
  13. Minor percentage? Go to any server and hit up the Imp/Repub Fleets and ask if people want addons. I guarentee the majority of people will take them. Also look at WoW, the most popular and succesful MMO out there. Most (i cant say all), but MOST players PVPing and raiding at end game have addons. And if you dont want them, DONT GET THEM! Addons are optional, not required. If you dont want them, dont download them. But most players want to have at least the option to have addons in the game. They allow you to change your controlls to how you want them to be, so you can enjoy the game that much more!
  14. the ones who claim they dont want addons, are the ones who arent reinvited back to groups because they suck.
  15. Or at least give us some kind of in game damage meter. I dont know about the rest of the community, but i'm an extremely competitive gamer, and i like to push myself to crush my guild mates and buddies on the damage charts. Otherwise i really dont have that spark to do well and really enjoy a HM or Ops. Bioware is bringing out the option to move and change the scale of your UI, but that's not enough. We had addons in just about every other MMO and we got used to it. Now the transition is tough, not being able to evaluate myself and see how i did. And we also cant pick out people who need help with their rotation. Please listen to the community! Addons have been around for years, you shouldnt have released a cutting edge 2012 game with things that have been around since 2007 (maybe earlier? i dunno ^_^ )
