In the end the people that want the damage meters (which is fewer than those that don't) will get them only because 20 times a day a new thread pops up about adding them. The silent majority who find no reason to post a new thread to voice they don't want it will lose this battle.

I don't think there is east coast and west coast servers as far as location, iirc it was said on the beta forums the servers in the US are in texas and the east west designation is only so you can find a server with more people in your own time zone.

Imo innovation in gaming won't hit the next level until you have technology something like a holo deck from Star Trek where you are virtually immersed into the physical surroundings. I know this sounds odd but what is left to innovate? It's all basically the same right now no matter what the skin is.

Not everyone pops in a new motherboard and cpu with the newest latest greatest video card every other week like some? I'm quite sure those that really want to get in and run higher settings will surely upgrade their hardware someday, lol.

Actually you decide your own path but whomever wins the roll is the person you see speaking in the video. Their choice only affects what is said and the outcome. If they chose to lets say let an npc live and your choice was to kill them and they won the roll the npc would live but you would still get DS points for your individual choice. Has no effect on your LS or DS points.

There is a reason PvP is usually just tacked on to PvE games, it's because it dies out quick once the balance of factions or whatever you want to call it become 1 sided or everyone spends most of their PvP time in instances and there is no world PvP. Maybe if someone actually developed a real PvP game instead of PvPers it might make actual skill a factor. There is no skill in running around areas as a group and rolling over 1 or 2 people that clearly have no chance against a larger group usually a higher level as well. But hey that is what PvP is right? Talk about carebears, PvPers are the biggest carebears of them all!

I was just asking a question. I personally don't care for PvP and might just not know what PvP games are alive or dead. Last one I played was Aion and when I left it was quite dead. Although Aion was introduced as a PvPvE game it was more focused on PvP. What about Warhammer? Wasn't that PvP focused? It seems to me the only PvP games that do well are FPS.

Yup agree with this ^^^^^^^^ Flag items for companions only and player only. The only problem with this is creating more loot and changing loot tables. It already exists with weapons so it shouldn't be too hard to impliment

BTW to the OP official launch isn't until Dec 20th!

I think the pre-launch of the pre-lauch was a good thing bio-ware did and people still can't appreciate it for what it is. I just can't understand why it is so importatnt other than naming issues. It's not like you get a special reward for being the first of x class to be 50! As a matter of fact most people wouldn't even know (or care) you were the first to 50 unless you remind them "hey I was fisrt to 50 on x class". I guess I'm just used to being behind the pack of rush to end-game have nothing to do after the first month other than farm useless stuff and be bored and move on to what claims to be the next best thing. Would I have liked to get in today? YUP! Does it really matter in the end? NOPE!

Hmm, wasn't it stated that the east coast west coast thing on the servers was only to help people select a server with more people in their own time zone? IIRC all of the servers were located in Texas.
