  1. I haven't had an exit area button for months now. In stronghold, in PvP zones, in FPs... it just never shows up, minimal or maximal map, utility bar 2 on or off, checked all the additional options for utility bar 2 and nothing shows up to add it. In most areas I can right click portrait and go to phase and exit to get out, but in PvP zones I have to just wait out the timer if I miss accidentally close the score board window. It's getting very annoying.
  2. Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? Server seemed stable enough though did encounter several lag like problem. Slow reaction to inputs, players rubber banding, enemies teleporting around. Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened? None that I noticed. What region/country do you reside in? UK Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. Ping on Shae Vizla was between 300-500ms. Ping normally on Satele Shan is around 100ms, ping on Darth Malgus around 50ms. Is grouped content working properly? Managed to run a vet FP, PvP Arena, and GSF via GF. How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? Load in times after accepting seemed about the same as live. Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? Didn't encounter any travel issues. Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? None that I encountered. Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? Again, none that I encountered. Though I only saw two and we skipped pretty fast. Additional comments: I'd really like to see a test with a cloud server in one of the existing regions I play on as it was hard to tell if the high ping was causing lag issues or if it was the server itself.

  4. Since I completed the latest season stuff I haven't bothered with doing any FPs. It's a shame because I actually enjoy doing them, but I got so fed up of getting BT or Ess that it just wasn't worth it any more.
  5. I truly, with a passion, hate that they added these FPs to the GF list. Every single time they come up I want to log out and never come back. So far that seems to be the reaction I see from all other players (except new players) when this FP pops too. It would have been fine if they'd been in there in the past when we could unselect FPs and still make progress on the weekly but given that you're now required to have every single FP selected to get progress on the weekly it truly is a PITA. Either they should remove them or they should alter the weekly to either mimic earlier game versions or make it some sort of percentage needing to be selected to gain progress.
  6. If memory serves, you can't get a parcel from an NPC if the buff from your own snowballs or snowball cannon are currently on that NPC. It's usually best to go somewhere busy, like NS Promenade where there are lots of gift droids people cycle around, or cheese it and use it on your own companion as you can right click the buff above their portrait to remove it and then hit them again. Life Day Gift Droids also have a slightly higher chance to drop parcels than other NPCs and overheated versions have a chance to give decoration rewards. Edit: If you don't already (everyone should) you can enable in your interface editor to highlight buffs and debuffs placed on a target by yourself. This makes it a lot easier to tell if the NPC has been hit by someone else since you last hit them.
  7. According to the blog post from the 20th "The last few rounds of testing on the Public Test Server have been done on AWS!" so, yes it appears the PTS is currently running on AWS.
  8. So third time running it, had the same problem as second run and couldn't interact with the nests. This time though I tried switching instances and as soon as I loaded in the nests were active and I was able to complete the mission.
  9. I've tried this mission twice now. First time I got to the hiding stage and couldn't seem to get it to work standing behind any of the marked rocks. Second time I got to the stage where I have to locate the nest but walking up to them doesn't trigger and I can't interact with any of them...
  10. Yeah I'm seeing the same problem. Keep trying to get it anchored to mouse as I personally prefer that but it keeps just resetting to fixed location.
  11. Yeah this is a pain, I used to zoom the minimap in and out a fair bit but now I have to locate and click the buttons instead of just moving my cursor somewhere over the minimap and scrolling in and out.
  12. Agree completely. Such a shame, after the total lack of content packed updates for the 10th anniversary we were promised, I was really looking forward to the new season just for something to do and now it feels like they just nerfed the rewards so much it's just another disappointment.
  13. 7.0 gear distribution is crap, end of. They made this crappy environment where you can't get a group to form to do anything other than farm a single NiM boss because 'elitists' think they and they alone should have top tier gear but then ironically they aren't running the top tier content, they're running the easiest NiM boss on repeat. It'd be ironic if it wasn't so mind numbingly boring and detrimental to the state of the game.
  14. Can't wait to find out if the known issues list is going to be getting shorter or longer with 7.1! Ah who am I kidding, we all know the answer...
  15. I've been running pug ops for years, even when in a guild that runs ops because sometimes I want to run ops when no one else wants to. I'm aware of the downsides of people leaving but the issue with this is that the change makes it really difficult to get a replacement. Also on the flip side of the disadvantage to the 7 people who got screwed, we now have lockouts on the first two bosses so the chances of us getting another group before reset is pretty much non existent also. All this change has done is adversely affect people, it doesn't provide a benefit. Even in a guild if someone d/cs or we realise they don't have the dps etc then we're screwed for the rest of the week unless someone is willing to take the loss on the weekly.
  16. Requiring all bosses for the weekly is killing OPs runs when someone rage quits part way through. Trying to find someone willing to jump in when they wont be able to complete the weekly is nigh on impossible and it just ruins it for everyone. Just had someone rage quit after a wipe, ironically we only wiped because he wasn't listening and didn't do what he was supposed to (Operator IX), spent an hour trying to find a replacement and no one was interested because they wouldn't get the weekly so 7 of us just had to abandon...
  17. I'm genuinely finding it hard to find a reason to log in right now. I've completed the GS (Season 2 was much better in terms of objectives than Season 1 so that was a plus), but now I'm done with that there's no new story to play through. Gearing is awful, I don't play PvP or NiM ops these days so my gear is stagnant at 326 green. Vet FPs reward lower level gear than I was able to get from doing Heroics which seems dumb. SM Ops reward even lower gear than Vet FPs which again seems dumb considering some SM ops are still pretty challenging for players who haven't done a lot of them before (looking at you Izax). MM flashpoints are so hard to get a group for and GF might as well not exist for it because you could literally sit in a queue for hours with no pops so it's not a reliable source of gear progression, HM Ops other than people farming KP and EV seem to just never be happening on the server I'm on so I've managed to score one piece of gear better than green 326 in months of playing. Meanwhile fleet chat is full of "LFM NiM Nefra" to farm a single boss ad nauseum and PvPers are getting into vet FPs with 326 purple gear... With the removal of the renown system, at level 80 with no gear advancement it just feels like there's literally no point in playing because there's no progress to make on anything, I'm just running the same old content for nothing. The whole 'expansion' feels like a trip back in time and not to a better point in the game's history.

  19. I dunno man, plenty of OPS elitists complained bitterly throughout 5.0 and 6.0 that people could obtain max level gear without having to set foot in a NiM OP. Not saying they all do it, but can't say some vocal ones didn't either. Personally I hate the new gearing system. Not only because of how dumb it is to split it into multiple tracks and tie each one to different content and upgrade requirements with no mods. But as someone who no longer has the will to deal with NiM OP runs I just don't see the point in playing this expansion any more. I've already got all of my toons into 326 Green gear, stat optimisation isn't possible and the stats are trash (seriously, needing all 14 augments as alacrity on my DPS toon to hit the 1.4GCD is dumb). Previously, even if it was slower, I saw the point in paying my sub and logging in because I wanted to optimise the stats of all of my characters and it gave me a reason to play. If there's no way of people who don't do NiM ops getting the best gear then there very quickly comes a point where there's no point in the majority of players paying to play.

  21. I am glad to see someone has listened to some of the feedback in here, these changes are definitely a step in the right direction. I'm still hoping that you might revert the changes to the FP weeklies too where it counts any Vet/MM run for the weeklies again instead of it requiring all FPs to be selected. I know you did it because of Hammer Station spam but there are legit reasons why it's infuriating. If I want to run harder high level FPs I really don't want to have to run the risk of getting crappy low level FPs just so I can get the weekly rewards. Not to mention the number of times I've had people complain they aren't getting progress on the weekly even though they have everything selected only to find out they have an active story mission which removes one of the FPs from the list so they just can't do the weekly until they finish the story mission. Super annoying if they're in the SoR story as there are like half a dozen FPs there which they have to slog through before they can do the weekly again.
  22. I agree with most of the other comments, this isn't really making the newer augments "easier" to obtain. With 7.0, the removal of 'get gold gear from everything you do and disassemble it' and the increase in CQ requirement has resulted in a massive net negative on tech frag income rates (not to mention a complete lack of income on all the Jawa junk for other crafting mats) and currently most of us are still trying to farm enough tech frags just to get our set bonuses back with the new legendary relics which cost 6.5K tech frags a piece, then more to upgrade them.... Now you're saying oh just spend another 105K tech frags and easy as that you can get mats for one augment? Yeah, thanks, so helpful...
