  1. What am I and other sorc's doing that makes us different? We survive, we destroy.. Please, just adapt and stop making yourselves look silly. I am 31madness and I kill my targets, I don't spam dots. I hit one target at a time until they're dead, I don't dot and switch. Tab+affliction is not how you kill targets, hell.. I don't even use affliction most of the time. *That was aimed at the DPS'ers, not you healers. I'm not a healer and cannot comment on your situation. I am seeing people in recruit gear pulling off 300k heals though, but that could be AOE heal spam over more useful heals.
  2. I think creeping terror should be used when it's needed, not just generic rotation.
  3. Seeing good dps in 1.2, aided by augmented orange gear. I am doing without set bonuses until I get WH, but I think it's worth it. Still 31madness, still in love with creeping terror. Couldn't be happier. Only thing I've got to work out is what WH gear to go, what balance of stats.
  4. Got my title straight away after killing the boss next to the sarlacc pit. I am now "Containment Officer Jagdtiger". I deserved it though, I still don't have my BM title that I was supposed to get ages ago.
  5. I moved all my gear over to social gear before I realised the set bonus didn't move. Tbh, I don't regret it now. I still kick butt in wz's, I still do my job just fine. The set bonuses help, but they are not needed for you to smash the enemy. I'm going without my set bonuses until I get warhero.
  6. Whats the most you've made from the boxes you can trade cent/champ comms for? I traded in 30champ comms for a grade 6 crafting box, got a warmaster advanced cyan schem and sold it for 200k. Anyone else making sweet profit from all those useless comms we had piling up?
  7. I enjoy it when the qq'ers say the ingame screenies don't mean anything, but don't offer any evidence of their own, and try to make it out like those who took the screenshots are not getting focussed. Keep it up, lol. I can start posting 300k damage games in huttball, with highest objective scores as 31madness, if you'd like?
  8. I think AoC had the best solution. Don't like the fashion designers? Go naked.(It should be for both male and female toons, lol)
  9. I agree, there is much more female gamers these days. However, there are still more males playing as female toons, than females playing as female toons. I agree with what you're saying, the female toons need some loving. I may differ on how I expect them to look though
  10. I guess once again this comes down to server population. Those on more populated servers such as myself, are much more likely to have a market for their sliced parts at this early post patch stage of the game. If you've got no market for those parts, you are stuck trying to get mission crits, or having to run around ilum farming nodes. Some less populated servers don't even have a big market for 340 missions, whereas stuff like UT340's sell for over 20k, and slicing for 50k average on my server. (The Swiftshaw)
  11. Did you really have to put female gamers in the title? I guess it's a good way to attract views. More men play female toons than females. I personally like to stare at my female sorc's animated *******. Title: Female Toons, Armor, & Bioware IMO, females have two sets to choose from in this game: The slave outfit, and the dancers outfit. The rest just don't suit the female figure at all.
  12. What you listed in the title is how it should work. That would be the utopia of reverse engineering. Bioware doesn't do utopias.
  13. I actually don't have enough credits to get my set bonuses back :S SWTOR: TCG - The Credit Grind.
  14. Far out, I spent 400k to move everything over to the Imperial army outfit from the VIP lounge. I swear I read the patch notes, even if I missed it.. this is something that should of been highlighted much more.
  15. Really? Really? I am targeted constantly in Wz's. Not just because I am good, not just because I am geared, but because it's the enemy melee's job to strike us fast and try take us down. We are far too dangerous to be left unattended to. My damage is fine, I'm not just talking about the endgame scoreboard. My force lightning hits for 900's and over 1000 easily, and you know how fast the ticks are, combine that with crushing darkness, affliction, creeping terror, lightning strikes... oh, and of course.. the 3-4k+ AOE damage from deathfield(oh wait, we have no burst, right?), we melt people like we always have. You know how I win 1v1's? I keep them away from me, I slow them down, I use LOS. You know what else? I play the game. War zones are not meant to be 1v1. If I'm in a huttball I'm either carrying the ball, or pulling the carrier. If the enemy has it, I'm using all my cc's, slows.. and my baby, creeping terror. With Alderaan, I'm either in mid right in the midst of it, usually the first one there, or I'm guarding a turret by myself. I'm not sure what it's going to take for you to just move on and adapt, hopefully a reroll. My first character is an IA, maybe that allowed me to not qq over small things. I think you should roll one.
  16. Get lockboxes for the mission crits only. Otherwise, sell sliced tech parts. The profit margin is huge, and I mean it. Lots of people want augments, we have the keys to those augments. Exploit it. It's far easier to sell sliced tech parts, than it ever was to sell an augment. What I'm trying to say is... slicing is making more money than it ever could before, can you dig that?
  17. Haha, yeah, the UI is throwing me off as well. I love the UI changes, but they taking used to. I'd like to know the new soft cap on crit, because our crit is quite huge now.
  18. Btw, I'm finding the postpatch augments to be pretty underwhelming themselves. That's actually fine for me, because I want to use social gear.
  19. I'm fine with the class changes, but I'm also underwhelmed with both synth and cybertech. The real winners of 1.2 - Slicing - Underworld Trading and other mission skills. I tell you, people love sliced tech parts, which only slicing gets, and people buy them for large prices.. the profit margin is huge. It will settle down as the market will settle, but just like Bio with their stims, the slicers can charge good money knowing only they can make them and the prices will continue to reflect it. Another winner of 1.2? Trading in Cent/Champ comms for crafting boxes... lol. I got 3 UT 340's, and an Arch 340, not to mention some manda Iron, radiactive goo, all that stuff. Basically, Pvp'ers flooding the market with crafting materials.
  20. Thank you for 1.2, thank you for trying to help crafting. But, come on... I can make speeders to sell with my Cybertech alt, but who would buy them at a price that would net me profit? You can buy all these cool looking speeders from various planets, for about 90k for the purple lvl50's. The hot rigged speeder requires 10 manda Iron, a bunch of cidi, and other materials. What is special about the Cybertech speeder that would have people buy it at a price I could profit on? The shape is average, the coloring is ok. I don't think people would think it's something special to have what used to be a unique cybertech speeder, since it's just too easy to level a crafting skill to 400. In other words, you'd have to be some speeder hoarder with OCD to even want to buy the thing. Our profit still comes from space parts, and only on servers that have numbers. I'd rather just sell the Manda Iron by itself, lol. I know this has been mentioned various times, but I just want to highlight it even more.
  21. 1.2 - The patch that has separated the good from the bad. I honestly think there has been an overpopulated of sorcs on my server, so I'm hoping the bad's do reroll.
  22. Pretty cool reasoning as to why you want it back. What is not working for you? Are you a healer? DPS? whats your gear? You certainly bring a great argument to the table for Bioware to ignore. @Code, nice game. You lost, but with 10k objectives you certainly tried.
  23. Just an update... 1.2 has hit, and it's quite business as usual. I recommend respeccing and practicing with your potential future builds before the next future patch hits, if you didn't for 1.2, it just makes for that smooth transition. Madness is working well, force lightning is melting, creeping terror is still as useful as ever... life's good. With the added medals and changes to pvp, I've noticed that we madness players have become quite the medal whores as well. http://i.imgur.com/51N0A.jpg Only thing that caught me off guard, is the lack of surge they put on our force master and force mystic BM gear, but we've got a crapton of crit in it's place(I'm up to 40%crit with IA buff), which is proccing wraths like crazy, I sometimes spam lightning strike at least 3-4 times between crushing darkness's. I'm going to give that a test though, whether it's best to spam those lightning strikes, or to just keep force lightning them, to see which is doing more dmg in between the CD.
  24. I'm sorry, but the problem lies with you. 150k? a BM spec sorc gets that with their eyes closed. I play solo, I don't have a buddy healing me, I don't have a group watching my back, all I have is the team I've given, and they can be good, or they could be very bad, but I still think sorc's have very good survivability, and our damage is fine. Thanks for listing your real life issues, like none of us successful players have any. I'm 31madness, and it's great. Others are liking hybrids still, some even dare do lightning, but I wouldn't recommend that.
