  1. There is no challenge what so ever for a premade fighting a pug, none what so ever. My guild and I used to run premades alot, but after a while, especially after 1.2 its just not fun any more for us, with all the fresh 50's/pre-BM geared players running around theres no challenge to it, we very rarely get put up against other premades which is odd considering when we all run solo all we get is premade matches lol. Now whenever we want to play with each other we all get on what ever characters we want and all solo queue hoping to be put against each other, alot more fun this way, we lol at each other in vent, team up on each other and have a good time. Time to seperate the queues, let premades fight only premades, and let the pugs have there thing the game is much better off in the long run.

    PvP Ruined

I am happy as anything that players can get BM gear faster, I ve had mine for quite some time now and welcome more competition without all the gear b.s, I beat someone in full BM gear I know I am better than them, they beat me I know I have work to do. Skill should always come first, gear should be purely cosmetic. Gear grinds discourage playing, no one enjoys getting stomped due to gear imbalance, when players get discouraged they don't play anymore which increases queue times, which means I get to PvP less.
  3. Welcome to the new SWTOR PvP!!! But not 1 up you or anything but I have been personally involved in quite a few Voidstar matches where everyone on my team earned at least 17 medals some of us even breaking 20, the matches ended in a tie, a roll of the dice decided we did not win and all of us earning a whopping 0 medals and 0 credits, but a ton of valor and xp cause as a 50 you need those things more than medals and credits for gear upgrades, consumables etc. This games PvP is greatly broken at the moment, they are promising fixes to all this BS with a patch soon. Heres hoping they do not break it more, pre 1.2 almost instant queues as a solo queue, under 5 for premades. NOW 10min + for solo and 20+ for premades and getting worse by the day. Thank god for my xbox to keep me busy while waiting for queues to pop, feel really bad for the low pop servers cant imagine what they are doing while they wait.
  4. BW honestly screwed the pooch big time with PvP in this latest patch. I solo queue a lot when my guildies are offline or involved in other in game things, I'm fully BM geared, valor 76, so I mainly play just for the fun of it but since this patch went live I have never seen so many quitters. Why in the world did BW remove the participation dailys/weeklys????? Makes no sense, when these quest were in place I very rarely encountered a match where anyone left, now its absolutely rampant. I feel bad for the under geared fresh 50's you all have one hell of a mountain to climb to catch up, with this new reward system in place it will take you months to get all your BM gear to finally be competitive, the recruit set is no where enough to keep you from being steam rolled on a daily basis, especially when forced to be against premades for a significant amount of your matches. 1.2 was supposed to narrow the gear gap to provide better competition, but I guess BW felt it was better to discourage PvP as much as possible, widen the gear gap further and make it a ton harder to get the gear needed to be competitive. I can understand the changes on a Rated WZ level, but for regular everyday play way to kill your PvP portion of your game! The queue times on my server have shot up significantly even in solo queue, you messed up badly, time to fix it and make things fair again.
  5. Damage is just too high, its like how it was pre-level 50 bracket when you had geared 50's w/ 600+ expertise fighting against 10-49's with zero, all I am seeing is players getting blown up in a stun duration. I shouldn't really complain to much I guess cause its fun throwing guard around and racking in well over 100k protection every match lol, but yeah damage is too high and PvP is way to fast paced and zergy for my liking.
  6. Your lucky! I opened 37 bags before getting my first token, then i got like 8 in a row, then went another 20+ bags before getting more lol. Luckily I am full BM geared now and since the last patch where you could buy BM tokens for comms I have only seen 1 token drop out of a bag, otherwise I have been just buying them with comms.
  7. I think the game itself will easily last 10yrs, as far as it being a subscription based for 10yrs is questionable.
  8. These are my main concerns as well. As someone who runs in premade groups often I do not want to fight pugs, I can do that when I run solo, there is no skill or challenge to it what so ever and should reward nothing for doing so. When I solo queue I expect to fight 15 other players who queued solo, not be farmed by premades. I love new content as much as the next player but this whole pre-season rated thing should be launched with cross servers and be done the right way for testing. Last thing you need is players having bad unfair experiences and no longer wanting to participate.
  9. For me its been the last 2 weeks on my main, stuck on 2/3 for WZ daily, and 4/9 for weekly, played well over 100 matches, even made it from VR 70-72 and gained a bunch of BM tokens via wz.merc comms. Too many damn premades running around, some nights all I will get is full 8man premades to fight against, hasnt been fun what so ever.
  10. CC needs to be toned down, whether that means a significantly shorter cd on the CC break ability, longer cd's on the cc abilities themselves or shorter durations, bottom line is players want to actually play their characters not watch them be useless. The resolve is a good start but needs alot of tuning up, even if your a master of the resolve system you will still find yourself a victim of an endless barrage of CC even with a full resolve bar. Warzones;Huttball : Make the hazards actually be dangerous in 50 bracket, no one should be able to walk through a fire trap and not even take a tick of damage even when healed and guarded, I am not saying make it an instant death but it should be a major decision to take the risk, even the acid pits should provide a major debuff again making it a decision to take the risk but not to the extreme the fire pit would. World PvP: need more of it, needs to be interesting, rewarding on a overall faction level and fun.
  11. Is there any plans to tone down the astronomical amount of CC in PvP? Some matches feel as you are in some form of CC 90% of the time, break out ability is on way too long of a CD for the amount of CC being spammed and you could easily be stunned through an entire full resolve bar for by the time it empties it self you can be stun/cc'd all over again. This desperately needs to be addressed.

    Stun, stun, doom

CC in this game is basically spammable and takes no skill and coordination what so ever to take anyone down, between stuns, mezzes, knockdowns, knockbacks, and snares, roots (which ignore resolve) you can literally keep someone CC's in some form 100% of the time, there is no skill and coordination to this.
  13. You guys do realize its only PRE-SEASON right? Technically they don't need to give any gear out.
  14. Only reason Shadows/Assassins are forced into tank specs cause the other trees offer zero to little survivability in PvP.
  15. This whole topic is dumb, PvP should be skill first gear 2nd. The whole purpose of competitive PvP is when you check my character panel, see my PvP rating is higher than yours and me LOLing at you cause I am better than you, and its justified cause my little number is better than your little number. Take a good long hard look at WoW's Arena history, it was most popular in Seasons 1 and 2, and why was it at its most popular? Its because everyone had access to the same gear and it was achievable by anyone willing to put the time in, the better player you were the faster you got your gears. Look at their tournament realms and even their e-sport competitions, everyone has access to the same gear. Once they introduced a rating req for gear Arena participation greatly and steadily declined as well as led to terrible gaming practices like win trading, carrying of baddies for gold/rl money etc....... BW is on the right track, and remember 1.2 launches just a PRE-SEASON, they technically do not need to give out anything for participating and when it comes down to it a good high rated player does not rely on gear for wins a less skilled player does, and with an equal gear footing there is no excuses, skill > everything
  16. Is there any plans to tone down the amount of CC in PvP due to the fact that resolve literally does nothing in preventing someone from being CC'd to death.
  17. Its been incredibly bad today on Belgoths Beacon both 10-49 and 50 brackets. There has not been 1 single match that was 8v8 of the 25+ I played today. Im sure it happens on both sides but have only seen the Republics doing it today.
  18. Will resolve be re-worked/fixed so it actually benefits and works for all classes? CC chains are not fun for anyone.
  19. Most people who leave Warzones are usually very bad players looking to be carried for wins, even if they stay till the end of the match 9 times out of 10 they provided little to no benefit to the team in anyway. Good players when the going gets tough they try and reorganize, change strats via ops chat and at least try to make it a respectable match win or lose. Now understandably real life stuff or something of much higher priority in game happens that causes you to pull the plug and leave once in a while, happens to all of us from time to time. But if you are one of those that consistently leaves matches just quit PvP, you are not a PvPer you are just a baddie looking to be carried.
  20. Most of the players who quit Warzones when things get a little tough are usually pretty horrible players, even if they stick around till the match ends they usually provide nothing to the team. Let them leave they are only baddies looking to be carried for wins, and put in the debuff/penalty so their badness doesn't ruin our matches for a while.
  21. From what I see on my server is its mostly the bad players that are looking to be carried for wins that leave Warzone matches. Its mostly the same batch of players over and over that do this yet they never do a thing to help the cause, just run out get slaughtered and rage quit, even on the rare occasion I see them in a full match they are useless, no objective points, maybe 2-3 medals tops, just absolutely clueless of the map, objectives and their class, if these players spent as much time quitting matches into learning how to play their class and how these maps work they would find that they would lose alot less matches. Its time for a debuff/penalty, the system rewards failure, win or lose you can progress and gear your character, the more time you put in the faster it will go, there is no reasonable excuse other than a dc due to the game still being buggy that justifies leaving Warzone matches repeatably.
  22. My question is about your open world PvP planet Illum. To me Illum should be a PvPers paradise, lots of objectives, quest, resources to battle over all while controlling and defending those resources which benefit your whole faction, it should be a zone where a PvPer would never want to leave yet in its current state all we do is farm our 30 kills, 150 for weeklys and move along to other things. It feels ALOT of space is being wasted. What are your plans to enhance and improve the overall PvP experience on Illum?
  23. I very rarely leave a Warzone, the only time I do is when I am in a Voidstar and the other team uses that little "glitch" that has them capping the first door before we even get out the gate, I just have little patience for stuff like that. But I personally think the whole daily and weekly PvP quest need a bit of restructuring. Being Bioware decided to be like most games and made the mistake of the individual being more important than the faction in a faction vs faction PvP system it only makes sense to do just that. To finish the daily you need x amount of medals, x amount of objective points, x amount of kills, damage, heals etc, and if you win you get a big bonus. This might not be the best system but at least it keeps players from leaving as often and it caters to their individual needs being the overall faction is not important. I also think huttball needs a few more different maps to play on. As far as Illum goes well thats a whole other sinking ship that needs fixing fast.
  24. I would rather it take hours/days to complete my pvp quest than watch a bunch of afkers get a free ride into battlemasters gear. Yes getting rolled by premades can suck, not getting credit for wins sucks alot more but creating an avenue for afkers like this is just bad for the game. And besides the majority of pvpers dont just do there 3 wins and out they usually make a night of it.
  25. This x7583937338390 LvL 50 PvP is uninteresting, Illum is the most lackluster, boring, and disappointing of any open world PvP I have ever played in any game ever, playing the lottery for a piece of gear with those dumb champion bags is well just dumb. All 50 PvP is grinding Valor ranks, at least the 10-49 bracket you actually feel productive while PvPing, earning levels, talent points, credits etc.
