  1. From my experience Kolto Residue is worth it. Your alternatives would be Cell Capacitor, Med Zone, and First Responder wich ive explained why they arent worth it above. Ill try to dig more into to explain it better. Cell Capacitor and Med Zone are both for "Oh Crap" moments. I save Recharge Cells and Reactive Shield until I need them and they are on a long cooldown. So basically it might help if you take those talents when you do use those abilities but you have to think how often you are using them and if you can achieve the same thing without picking up those talents. Basically what im saying is that you shouldnt be constantly using those abilities and I believe that you can keep yourself and other people alive without those abilities being talented. You should always be using Kolto Bomb. Its bascially an instant AOE heal for up to 4 people. I know 3% extra healing isnt much at first when you look at it but if you keep it up like you should be doing it will always be active and helping you. Unlike the talents I listed above only help you sometimes when you reach those "Oh Crap" moments and I believe you dont even need them. Trauma Probe is definately worth it also. After 1.2 you need to know when to use it and not spam it because it now costs ammo. What it does is basically puts a HoT onto the person your healing wich is helpful in giving you time to get some big heals off. I know it doesnt heal for much but if you combine Trauma Probe with Preventative Medacine and Armor Screen wich makes Advanced Medical Probe give you a HoT and 10% armor buff, you will basically have 2 HoTs on them and extra armor. What I do is throw Trauma Probe on someone as soon as my Advanced Medical Probe heals them. With all of these combined it will give you enough time to throw them some big heals. For Commando healing you need to use the combined effects of Talents or abilities to get your full potential. We dont have 1 awesome heal that keeps everyone alive but we do have a set of abilities that if you put them together are very effective.
  2. Advanced Tech and Heavy Trooper are good skills to have for pvp. If you combine them it is an extra 10% healing on yourself wich is a decent amount, Heavy Trooper also gives you 2% endurance, and trust me when you doing pvp and they realize your a healer your going to be healing your self alot. Kolto Residue is also worth taking for the 3% increase in healing and you should be using kolto bomb all the time and have this buff up almost all the time. That is bascially a total of 13% increase in healing on yourself and 5% on others that you are giving up. Not to mention the 2% increase in endurance wich is also important for survival. If you drop like a rock when someone turns and focuses on you dont be surprised. I go with 31/10/0. Cell Capacitor, First Responder, and Med Zone aret he 3 I dont take in the medic tree. I dont take Cell Capacitor because I use Recharge Cells for "Oh Crap" moments and I dont feel like those 2 ammo are gonna make or break me. First Responder because Alacrity sucks and we are more about big crits. I dont take Med Zone also because I can usually get myself back up to full when I hit reactive shield without it and again Reactive Shield is one of those "Oh Crap" abilities that isnt constantly in use.
  3. Ive noticed this myself that after cryonade hits my enemy they sometimes still do whatever or even move for a second or 2 before they actually get stunned. I thought this was some sort of lag or due to oppenent maybe having a low end computer or whatever that was causing people to jump around before.
  4. Im not to sure in PvE but in PvP I drop like a rock against sorcerers and operatives. Actually pretty much anyone that decides to focus me 1v1 I have a snowballs chance in hell of really surviving anymore unless I get help from someone.
  5. I agree with everyone else that Trauma Probe isnt worth the ammo unless your buffing before a fight or find yourself standing around with extra ammo. If you need heals now and dont want to run out of ammo then stay away from Trauma Probe in the middle of a fight.

  7. Thx for the extra 1 night stand with Jaxo but me and im sure others would like like to see her a little bit more. Is there any possibility that Jaxo could become a future companion for Troopers. If she was to become a companion what does everyone see her role as. I would see her coming in as more of a Vangaurd DPS type.
  8. Thx bioware. Not only is it a great idea to entice people to come back but also rewarding the people that stuck with you was a really good idea and does show you do appreciate your players. Its like you just gave SWTOR a stimulus/bailout and I bet itll work just like the auto industry coming back.
  9. If servers were healthy or was more balanced faction wise then this wouldnt be an issue. If they were to offer transfers to some servers and maybe strat collapsing some of the servers might become a little more healthier for this not to be much of an issue. It would keep the community intact without having to put in cross server queues and lose the bragging rights or knowing the guys your pvping with even though your pugging. If they can keep it to where queues will attempt to build a team from a certain server first and go cross server after so long of being unsuccessful.
  10. Its like BW punishes healers. Not only do we get marked and trained right away our abilities give enemies a straight line right to where you are.
  11. I ran into this same problem of not being able to pick up the dailies and realized that I was doing some space missions and my quest log was full and I had to abandon some quests to pick up the other dailies.

  13. Vigilance is getting buffed in 1.2 so far. 1. Focused Defense ability added. 2. Sundering Throw talent is now in the Vigilance tree. 3. Zen Strike talent also gives us 2 focus now when it triggers. 4. Master Strike's damage has been increased. 5. Single Saber Mastery talent affects you now in Soresu (guard) stance. 6. Dispatch is now usable at 30% hp.

  15. Why not 10 merc for 30 warzone. Merc will be useless and we paid 30 WZ for every 10 merc so it would be right to give us our full refund.
  16. The only way for the Alderaan change to work in my opinion is that they would have to alter the map. Make it to where everyone drops direcitly in the middle area and take out the wall that blocks players from going to the left side. Unless they do that everyone will just take mid and right then push left every battle.
  17. If we are straight getting wooped then I wont bother playing the WZ and instead just try to get big healing or dps numbers. If its to where we are getting stomped and I cant even get a shot or heal off I will start the semi-afk mode and do the least amount necessary to stay in. I use this philosophy in every WZ unless its still winnable because then ill still go 100%.
  18. I play on a PvP realm and figured everyone was waiting on 1.2 or was leveling. The reason I say there waiting for 1.2 is because of the new gear set ect. The other thing is they might be leveling alts to try to get as many to 50 as they can. From what I read they are selling chamion equivalant pvp gear for credits in 1.2 to help people bridge the gear gap better. BM gear is only a little bit better than Champion so I didnt feel like it was worth the time investment to farm the BM gear till patch and since Champion is being sold for credits in 1.2 that will be a waste of time to farm also. So if you PvP your time is probably best spent till patch lvling alts so you can gear em out when champ equivalant gear comes. Once rated WZ's come and some of this other stuff I think we will see people come back or appear from their alts.
  19. Wow they beat the heck outta us with the nerf bat. Really unless they nerfed the crap out of the rest of the DPS in this patch we will get demolished. I could actually keep myself up decently and now from the way it looks im gonna spend most of my time waiting for ammo or hanging out at the GY. I hope its not useless to go heals now since we will get marked by someone and trained everytime they see us. So was the charged bolts change a nerf or buff for us damage wise?
  20. I thought everyone used the left/right from looking at their large map so it would be the same thing as east/west. Thats what I do and it seems to work lol.
  21. Im in a PvP guild and we were going strong until the plans for 1.2 was announced and Ilum was killed off. After that noone is really on in the guild anymore and I dont even see more than 5 on at a time. My personal opinion is that most of the pvp'ers are going elsewhere until 1.2 unless it is really as bad as everyone says with them giving everyone the best gear. Then I dont really see them coming back. I have forsaken wow ever since the panda chinese xpac so im staying to see if they make pvp something. If not i guess guild wars 2 here I come.
  22. I think ive already said it but if everyone gets the same pvp gear for WZ's then everyone will start doing Open World PvP where their gear and time spent getting it can be used. Id probably do a WZ here and there for fun but I would probably stick to Open World PvP when they finally fix it lol. Really all I keep reading about is how a bunch of PvE'ers want to spend all their time in Ops and dont want to spend time in pvp unless its a quick mini game that they dont need to put effort into.
  23. Commando medic would get demolished if you nerf the bubble on them. I dont think that the bubble is OP its Grav Round that needs some tweeking.
  24. Hutball is my favorite except I dont like the fact that teams can stack on certain classes to have a definate advantage because of mobility. If its a regular huttball match I love it. Alderaan and Voidstar is tied for me I like them both.
  25. Tell you the truth if I cant bring my gear into a WZ I probably wont do them very often and stick more to open world PvP where I could use my gear. I want to feel like my character is growing and getting better as time goes on. The reason I play these types of games is because through levels, crew skills, and gear progression your character grows and gets better over time. If you dont want gear progression in PvP then play a different game because that isnt how these types of games work. If you want to level the playing field and be on par with everyone else then put in the time and effort to get the gear to be able to do that becasue thats how these games go. If someone wants to put in the time and effort but maybe for some reason isnt as good as others it shouldnt mean that they should be excluded from the best pvp gear in the game. Taking out all gear progression from WZ's will make it boring eventually. Dont you want to see how your damage or whatever has gone up after getting that bad *** weapon or piece. Atleast theres a chance for world PvP to come back if you make WZ's that bad.
