My guess is that the person used AE skills on people that herd up together and don't know to run out of the pretty circle.

However, given your signature, it seems likely you are just attempting to troll. If you are manually adjusting your fan, your GPU temps are available to you. What are they?
(Btw, if you feel stongly enough about a game to put your clever acronym in your signature, why are you still playing it?)
I never took his post seriously due to the sig and not posting any temps.

Templated responses are awesome where they can take the body of a comment and spit it back out.
In the meantime I am a Nigerian Prince who would like to make you an offer. Can I have your Social Security Number and Bank Account Information?
Don't be so negative. Protocol Droid W6-I0 is the good CS bot, and only answers thoughtfully and after much deliberation.

My FPS fluctuates all over the place like when running around fleet, but it's usually hangs around in the 70-110 range. I have it overclocked to 975 and 1450. When I first got the card, the temps were in the 70s and spiked occasionally to the low 80s. My case has big hole in the side, so I wasn't getting good air flow from front to back. I added a 140mm silent fan to the side, and now the highest that it gets is 70C with the overclock.
I am pretty happy with it. You still need the original drivers for it as ATI has not merged the 7970 drivers in with the regular drivers. So don't get update 12.1 for it.
Metro 2033 runs super smooth on it. I am pleased with the card.

The possibility of my SWTOR character never getting "some" was a difficult possibility to overcome when playing the Republic. He is in 12 step program and receiving counseling. His future looks bright if he sticks with it.
-
Now that you mention it. I do notice a direct correlation between using the computer and temps rising. Seems the more stress that I put on the cpu and gpu, the hotter they become.

The funny thing about SWG is that people think NGE ruined a good game.

They couldn't detect the Sith while meeting with him. I blame celibacy. Their minds are preoccupied with other thoughts.

"Special people" come to a fan forum and are shocked to find fans. So not really too concerned or worried about the latest declaration of failure from them. Every MMO released now goes through a huge initial player first month, then many players scamper back to where ever they came from, this then induces the less perceptive to give prophecies of dooom. Yea, been there and done for every MMO release.
So here is a tip, play the game if you find it fun, and don't play it, if you do not like it. MMOs aren't suppose to be your spouse or a life-time commitment, so it's ok to cancel and stop playing at any time. There really doesn't have to be that much drama for the decision. It's only a game, and you can like more than one even.

When playing lately, I regularly wish for a pre-conversation option to pick light/dark/neutral, because of the trivial nature of most choices that end up at the same place.

When you click on community, it brings you to the general forums list. At the top, there is always a link or two about upcoming maintenance, and the last maintenance. List of fixes that went in:
- Implemented optimizations to improve performance on Republic and Imperial Fleets.
- Significantly improved the delay when activating player abilities, particularly when in lower framerate situations. This allows for improved ability responsiveness in hectic combat situations.
- Operations will no longer allow more than 16 Operations Group members to enter concurrently.
- In Karagga’s Palace, G4-B3 Heavy Fabricator will no longer respawn more than once if players have not defeated Karagga.
- Fixed an exploit that would allow players to repeatedly loot the chest after defeating Jarg and Sorno in Karagga’s Palace.
- Fixed an issue that could cause graphical inconsistencies, which most often manifested as random screen "flickering."
I would say 4 hours of downtime for this is no big deal, and there was plenty of warning if you pulled your head out of the sand. There was even a note about it on the launcher.

So if you are bored and feel like there is nothing to do, then you should move on. It's not rocket science. Have fun, then pay the subscription. Don't feel like the game deserves paying the monthly fee, then unsub.
One good thing about it is that it keeps a healthy chunk of the trolls out of the game.

I think if EU keeps on complaining, that BW will eventually see the error in their ways and make a more friendly downtime schedule for the EU servers. It even makes more sense to release on fewer servers first, like only the EU ones, to see if there is a catastrophic error or something in a patch.

That sounds perfect. 10-29, 30-49, and 50.

It might bug me more if I was more literate. For the most part, I don't notice it. At least the NPCs don't talk Faulkner.

Wanted to share some good news for a change, nice going Bioware!

Well that makes it official, "Best game evar!!"

Because getting the best gear from adventuring is the way it should be unless you are playing Crafter Chuck the Game.
-
It is bad design in your defense. Makes no sense to have them in separate tabs. With said, lol

Hi, will you be giving us any more game time as a result of the high degree of server unavailability, especially considering the patch times are always in the middle of the day in europe?
You advertise with 1 month of free game time included, yet we have not had the option to play the game for pretty good chunks of that month.
I think you are going to have to consider you didn't your $15 a month worth when those patches eat into it at a rate of $0.021 per hour for every hour of maintenance. Pretty soon, and we might be talking upwards of costing us around a quarter.
-
Because we are the good guys
There's passion, and then there's homicidal maniacs. It gets old playing a meanie all the time, "Blah blah blah blah...kill him".
-
I do not appreciate changes behind my back.
Turn around. Problem solved!
It's hard to document every single thing that goes into a patch, so learn to live with it.
-
I don't know if the OP intended his post to taken as comedy, but that's how I took it.
-
This might sound stupid, but do you have an active subscription? When mine ran out, it gave me an unavailable error when logging in, and I could still post.
-
I don't agree with the "go back to pandas" responses, but most of those quitting posts don't deserve any more than that. It's not like anyone truly cares or is going to persuade them to not quit. There is a cancellation feedback forum that people can use if they are so concerned about giving feedback to BW.
"Republic needs hotties!"

About 56% to 44%, and the RP servers have more Republic. So I guess the PvPers need to show their awesome badness by playing a baddie.
