  2. +1 Signature. It might just be me, but i prefer they do hotfixes like this just after a somewhat major uppdate. OFC there will be bumbs on the road, you would be stupid to think otherwise, There are alot they can do in beta but alot they can find in live as not everyone reports EVERY bug they spot in beta instead of lolling around.
  3. Yo, Currently hiding on The progenitor server. Got several toons. Shadowstalker for empire. Shadowlurker for republic. Then there is the army of handsome male character alts.

Lets see several servers go offline at the same time in both EU, and US, give it a few hours, More then likely the hampsters needed a half an hour break from their cages and some water. Poor little ... aww whom i kidding *uses force lightning and force choke on the lot of them* There. Buy new hampsters and your set!

As you said, holding max cap quests from the latest givers and such will only get you so far, (dailies, pvp, operations, daily flashpoints, everything) I can see someone get to maybe 52, unless bioware FORGOT, to up the exp needed for ding ding, which in that cause MIGHT make it plausable to ding 54 in those first 15 min. MAYBE. otherwise someone just figured out a exploit in beta and didnt report it *shrugs* Either case is possible.
  6. For the advanced class. Sounds to me like you have completed the quest. Try to press K to open up the skill tree meny. If i am right the choise to choose should pop up instead.
  7. This is how we welcome people on my server at least at our events that want to get in on what we are doing most of the time . We often see new players who finds us RP'ing a wierd sight but they still stay and watch (Yes an non-rp server thats why its more fun doing it. They aint expecting it) Sure we get the trolls that want to mess it all up but after years of rp you learn to just force choke em through the monitors ;D Some tag along and dont say anything. If they are we just say "ohh them? They are just the hired protection. Dont speak to them they are more likely to put a blaster bolt/ lightsaber throug you. But feel free to try" Some of the players that have never thought themselves like rp at all now are apart of our little group. They still stay in character and do better then expected most of the times.

As a solo player doing this without an ops group and a group of just 3 players.. the pvp quest took me and my group about eight min to complete. simple reason cause on my server we dealt with this quest as any pve quest. (yes an rp server deal with it) we formed a line and dealt with this as fast as possible. to get it over with. there was maybe fourty people involved- players both standing guard keeping the line. and then party members running for the orbs. it was all quick. painless (unless you tried to skip past the line then it was a free for all kill)
  10. Greetings from The Progenitor server! We on our server deal with this easily! WE FORM A LINE! which then leads to the pylon. players who has the orbs all stand in one and the same line no matter of group. or faction (they guard us and the line. as do we. we guard them and the line). while the others of the team who dont have an orb stand guard around the pylon from any who see them above this! protecting the line and ensuring the line is kept. if you are about to lose the orb due to the time limit you ARE ALLOWED to switch with a a team mate by using standard emotes /point (at teammate) and then you back away. as the orb run out as a sign. this removed all the stress of having to fight for the daily. YES it is PvP. yet not all want to go throgh the pain of being ganked doing a daily while others are "just" there for the kill. or to make sure others cant get their dailes done. (im watching you Crimson claw members) All the guards stand around and all wait for the droid boss to spawn as well to provide a "waiting bonus" for everyone's work. killing the droid credit goes to all groups present at the kill. and it ensures the boss can be taken down easily without ganking to get the kill. the point ot this is. Even in PvP there can be order. There can be a way to solve the agony for a solo player to get the daily done (face it you have been that person at some point) if you are in a bad time zone where you cant get players to join you or you just got off work and everyones already done it and refuse to help. This happend yesterday 13/2 all day on the progenitor. the line was kept for over six hours and long before i joined in. i know i was one of the guards helping to sort this for the last part of the day. We had members on skype on both side of the faction which helped sort this in the faction /general chats.

"Transendence" is the only way i know of to do this, it is a sentinel and mara, ability which tehy get at around level 30, if its not boosted the speed boost will be enough to cover just the "normal" slow effect of the ball, if its boosted its can even be persived as force speed, // a sentinel
  13. the red shield shows that the gear is "legacy" gear, from the same vendors i mentioned on coruscant

"standard" jedi robes are hard to find at lower levels for medium and heavy gear users, only set i know of that looks good at that level is the orange set from the legacy vendors on coruscant, problem is, the whole set is about 800k, if your just after the chest and legs however i think you need at least 400k credits, which IF YOU have a main is a days worth of dailies
  15. i agree doing the same schematic over and over again and get nothing is anoying, what id like to see is a legacy option that much like the "critical" boost you will get in 1.3, that also much similar boosts the chance for learning schematics from perhaps, 20% to 30 or 40% any idea of feedback to that idea?
  16. first off no, its not a silly question, the answer is yes, anything you do at level 50 that would have granted experience, (quests, flashppints, pve, pvp, even hunting datacrons i belive) gives legacy experience as a reward as well as cash, it is another reason to do your level 50 dailies as they are a goldmine of legacy exp and cash at the same time.

I've Seen alot of talk About SGR on the forums lately, (same gender relasionships) and hearing alot of players in my guild actually and server in general holding off leveling alts now for either this reason, or the fact they are waiting for the Cathars to become playable, any uppdate on when either Cathar or SGR will be comming to us?, as for Cathar, late this year towards winter or now to the summer months?

Hello fellow crafters, i would just like to ask if someone besides me would like to see orange class gear to be shown on their respective crewskills in just orange color (the name in the popup window) instead of blue as its relative item level, it would be nice to be able to see when looking through a friends known schematics to be able to tell this gear apart from eachother by just observing the colour just as you tell the green, blue, and purple items apart, instead of having to go through every blue item on his or hers crew skill to see if they possess anything of interest which in my experience is most often orange class items, not for their stats, but their skins and looks, it would also be a nice thing for people who randomly inspect your schematics looking for perhaps certain items which is (hard to come by) an alternative version to this could be to offer a search funtion of "item class" similar to the Global trading networks system for telling, green blue (and orange) purple, and legendary items apart, as i said its not something thats a bother and its minor so i picture it very low on the "to do list" the main reason i would like this is because im from an Rp server, and i spend alot of time gearing my alts taking the gears look into consideration, both the "threads, and armor plating" as well as the weapons skins i select, (im aware the game does not offer this, but some websites which im sure is well known, Coughs* do offer 3d weapon skins viewing) doing as said, i spend alot of time going through random players schematics on the fleets, on both sides just inspecting their schematics for relative items of interest, im hoping im not the only one, since i often get asked in general chatt if i possess certain items with the same item skin as *item linked* or if it is just a random chatt from someone trying to find these item (S) i know alot of players have schematics but dont make each and every item, this would be my way to offer more to the community of crafters for players who want that "certain" item or set on their next alt, and are paying good creds to get it, as we all know what creds some of these items can go for, not every player knows the name of the set and just scan through and more then often misses the item they look for which means a loss for the crafter. any thought on this matter, is it to minor to bother or does anyone know if its actually already on the way? thanks in advance for any replies. (if i manage to get one, forever alone *cries*)

Can anyone enlighten me if there is any change coming to the abortion system in 1.2 (or rather the low amount of players at the start of a warzone problem), or if there is a thread regarding this matter already, i do appologise i am not the one that usually scan the forums on a daily basis. at the moment it is really the only one thing that anoys me for the following reason; (if you see this as QQ please, do comment on it, i sure do care about you pointing out the obvious) now to the real question; how can it be considered fair for a team to start with lower players without any form of compensation till the teams can be ballanced? (examples) 4 players, while the oposite team has a full group of eight or more? by the time more players arrive for the low pop team, the oposite team will already have; in huttball scored 1 or more goals, destroying any oposition and left us unable to pick up the pace or form a defence which will work fast, this is the only warzone where one can pick up the pace from being short on players in the start, but even that requires fast play and co-ordination which isnt always there. in civil war, capture all three turrents with ease or very little difficulty just for the fact they CAN spread their people out while we cannot, leaving the low pop team with several points behind, depending on the time it takes new players to enter, (and land after speeder) recapping those points is almost always impossible, i have seen only one event since beta, where this situation has been turned around and that was nothing short of a miracle. Voidstar be it attack or defence the low pop team will be obliterated, the pure firepower of a full team wont take long to kill a low pop team, and to hold off attackers or simply, kill the defenders fast and plant the bomb, which puts the low pop team on a disadvantage from the start, the new arrivals will either have to endure (or if they notice fast ESC out of it) the opening cinematic which i know is being corrected in the patch, upp till date, how can a team of 4 compete with a team which doubles their own? be it in the 10-49 bracket or the 50 bracket. is there no way to add a "ballance" to the teams for the same duration as the abortion system? so when the countdown is removed so are its benefits?
  20. lesson one, dont go 2v1 or more and expect to win unless your stupid. lesson two, you got knockbacks, stuns, interupts, (yes all classes do on both factions) lesson 3, always target one healer first, mark them if possible, if second healer is there, put one person on total interupt duty or two if its possible, lesson four, apply lessons 1-3, into practical use, the results will improve, in the event this is not so, please, leave the pvp for the adults. end results, if you cannot do this, then my friend you lack the sence for pvp and just want an mmo version of counterstrike in which case i will point you to the door and laugh at you, now have a good day, (one who eats healers for breakfast)
  21. feel free to put my up as a quitter i will keep doing it until i see a match that isnt made out of either afk botters, medal farmers who dont give **** about winning, and the worst of all, the total eliteists noobs that are more noobs, then ME AND THATS LOOOOW, if i see my team acting like a bunch of monkeys farming medals, and not giving any attention to objectives, and i mean ANY of them, yes il quit, if i see a player desperatly calling for help, and im the only one that comes, while the rest insists of saying "l2p" while they stand still on a base thats not attacked il throw it in their face and quit, i join a match thats already lost, aka 2-0 in huttball, and team cant even cross midfield and the timer says match just started, yes il quit, they score two goals that fast, either im seeing speedhackers, or the worst team of monkeys on my side, while the other most likely is on vent if its a guild group. if i join at voidstar 2'd round, and see we have 3 min to complete ir (perfect run needed) il quit, if the enemy team was able to pull that off, their defence will be the same, get real. alderaan, if i join late, and see my team behind by at least 50% and they barely keep the one base, yes i quit, examples: cause i know some of you flammers are just idiots and farmers. i just played two huttballs, and three voidstars, and last one alderaan towers, in both huttballs, my team touched the ball six times, two by me, whenever i passed the ball when close to death, my teammates either, ran AWAY from the ball, or reset it on purpose even tho no enemy was even close, thy didnt try to score, they farmed medals, in voidstar, first match as well as third, same thing, medal farming, ignoring the doors, or cries for help unless most of the enemy team was there, then they switched sides, but ignored bombs, the second match, the afk'ers, standing on a door, in a team of 8, four ppl (same guild) stood at one door as well as two more randoms, not one attacker on this door, on the other two people tried to hold them off, while we saw them stand at the other door doing nothing. bomb is planted, they call out asking how the hell they planted even though they should know they outnumbered us easily. no logic works on these people. even as door was blown they didnt move to next room, they just stood there, in alderaan, team of 7, five stand at the one base we hold, they have the nerve to ask why we didnt cap the other two, i raged for two min on them, saying things a five year old would understand, but not these people. you want to stop the quitters OP? first deal with the cause of the quitters, if you tell me you have never, NEVER seen any of what i have described above, please tell me your "perfect server" so i can move there and confirm it, otherwise ****, and ****. i will keep quitting until i see a match thats even a possible win i wont waste my time in a match where i have to add up to three or more players, i refuse to carry a team to victory yes, even make the attempt if they are not willing to do so as well, add a CD to pvp if you wish, ppl will still leave, they will eat this debuff with happiness instead of playing with some of the "lesser gifted" players, yes i mean the *******, and not the mental disabled ones, i mean the noob ******* or eliteist *******.
