  1. Probably been suggested before, but anyone who's played the world story on Taris' Empire side would LOVE to have this lady back. I am guessing/hoping she has enough lines that can be reused to fill out the standard companion lines; and she doesn't have to be the main person to get quests from or turn in rep or achievement tokens. Maybe her "handler" could serve that role. A season story can be written around her return, with Republic flavor on that side, and Empire flavor on that side. Similar to the quest around meeting the "Master" last season. I'm trying! lol. I just LOVE this character and her attitude!
  2. Well, this is fiction, there is the force, bioware chose a period long before the movies to minimize restrictions on this game, and many of the players & the development team are obviously intelligent and creative. How about a jawas that speaks Basic?
  3. Now I don't think there is anything really wrong, but I have noticed a lot of hard drive access, especially on planets like Alderaan. I've checked with my friends, many of which have much better machines than mine, with plenty of memory. They say the same thing. I just wanted to point this potential opportunity out. It would be great to get into a new area without a lot of delays as the area's assets load. I dunno how it might be done, but like optimizing graphics, I thought there might be some potential for improvement in this area. Thanks!
  4. 'Nuf said. On a side note, I got a piece of Jawas' armor on Tatooine that put a hood over my head. I was very disappointed when my eyes did not turn yellow and become my only visible facial feature. C'mon! lol
  5. It would be great to have some flashpoints related to each planet's (not class) storyline. They would be optional, but would carry on the story in some dramatic way. For example, a flashpoint on Taris could take out the main Nekghoul stronghold on the planet. And so on. Thanks for reading!
  6. Seems it's getting harder to find groups for the heroics that you run into as you make your way through the various planets' content. And it also seems that even if you do get a group together for a heroic, about half the time (including turn-ins) there are no opportunities to earn points in dialogue choices. In the meantime, it seems Fleet general chat has lots of folks forming flashpoint groups to grind social points. Heroics could be a fine alternative/supplement to this, since they are dailies, but ONLY if people knew they would earn some SP's. How about a pass through the heroics, with some dialogue choices put into those without any dialogue right now? Barring that, how about an SP bonus at the turn-in that depends on how many folks accomplished the objectives and stayed until that turn-in? Awesome game, but I thought I would get this idea out there. Thanks for reading!
  7. Some points, with some setup: Our casual group of friends/players has been having trouble with the last boss in The Hammer at level 20. We have raid experience, but the comp may be bad, or whatever. Nevertheless, it "feels" like a heroic boss, and we are likely going to bring in a high-level toon to clear it so we can finish experiencing the quality Bioware content/story. It's my opinion that this should not be necessary. Regular mode instances should encourage participation in the people that are coming to this game to experience the quality story and content. Ratchet up the challenge in the heroic/hard modes for the many folks that love the endgame. I'm concerned that casual (and new) mmo players will group (possibly for the first time), try these flashpoints, hit walls, get discouraged, and not try them again. They would miss out on some good content, cinematics, etc. as they level, and as they are introduced to the endgame in regular mode operations. And possibly have less of a reason to keep subscribing. I dunno. While I imagine they are already, I just want to make sure and encourage the Bioware team to watch the data. How many toons/accounts try a flashpoint a few times, then never go back? Is that boss too difficult? Or on the flipside...too easy? (Of course there are MANY other data points to keep an eye on as well...) Forum opinion polls and postings are great, and represent a passionate group of players. But only a relatively small percentage of the total player base. I imagine most folks really won't worry about making suggestions; they will just vote with their dollars, click "unsubscribe", and skip the survey at the end. Please watch/keep watching the data folks. I love this game, I'm here for the long haul, and I want it to be wildly successful. I believe that part of that success will be accessible, quality content and story for a wide player base during their leveling, and regular endgame experience. Remembering of course that (with Russian accent) "Hard modes...are for dee STRONG!" (beats chest) Thanks for reading.
  8. Great post JCinDE! Covers almost all my "wishes", except... >8-) While you have a companion out, in a party, and/or in an operation, I would love to see some kind of aggro/threat indicator by the members' names in combat. Say red for the highest, yellow for those within a certain percentage of the highest (possibly adjustable), and green (or nothing, which would minimize client/server traffic) for those below that respective percentage. Feel free to point out if this is already in game; I have not seen it in regular parties. Thanks again for putting this together!
  9. Just a few points I thought I would mention. Admittedly some come from another big MMO I've played before, but are worth throwing out there. Some or all may already be in the works of course. 1. Crewmate gear comparisons on mouseover: when a crewmate is selected in the Character screen, it would be great to show the crewmate's currently equipped gear compared when you mouseover a piece of gear in inventory, rather than your own. 2. Alarm functionality on the in-game clock: SWtOR is the most engaging game I've ever played. I would love some help remembering, say, when I'm supposed to go to sleep, for example... 3. Beefed up Galactic Trade functionality: For example, I'm finding myself using the Star Wars auction house more and more to sell gear I run across. Some items I'm not clear on what the category and/or subcategory might be. Enabling an item name search without having to enter categories/subcategories would make it easier to see what other folks might be posting the same item for on the trade network. If suggestions are posted in another thread, feel free to point me there. Or feel free to add your own suggestions to this thread. In closing, despite my need to make suggestions, this is the best MMO game I've ever played. Polished, intuitive, with a lot of effort going into making the game fun. I mean, we can rezz our characters in place! A big help when soloing. And we don't have to train in order to keep progressing in crew skills! No more wasting mats only to remember that you need to go to a trainer to enable more skillups! And the stories. I'm actually far more interested in uncovering the stories for each class rather than maxing out and then gearing my main! Story does matter, IMO. Thanks for reading and considering. And remember, while the Light Side has Pie, the Dark Side has better parties...
