  1. fair idea, as you only get medals at endgame you leave you lose medals, while as you stay, you might lose but you can still complete the daily. /signed best idea ive seen today. edit** the thing i can see to counter the downside for farming medals could be, the raising the cap needed for medals per daily, and then make it so holding and winning a warzone grants medals as well, 5 per point objective, door, cannon, score in huttball, this would counter that downside, and make the focus on getting medals by scoring, no?

    try being on a team where 4 of them, all same guild, all same level group, stand at just the entrance of either warzone, i mean just stand there afk leeching in group, yes i will happily leave a group like this, i have already seen the same group twice today, and yes the second time i DID leave, telling my team to do the same, cause with four afk leeches there was no chance of winning.

    afk leechers, cant something be done about them? like say add a if you dont perform any form of action in 30 - 45 seconds you are kicked out? give us the option to kick them, hell friendly fire on players that dont do anything for a set amount of time, pwweeeaasse, ive played twelve warfronts today and ive seen in at least 7 of them afk leechers who do nothing but stand there and frankly its getting anoying any thought or feedback, i cant be the only one anoyed by this behavior

Depends on the player really, and your preferred playstyle, i play both a jugg and assassin tank myself considering doing a bounty H one, in huttball, im a returner, meaning i sacrifice everything to make sure the enemy team does not score, either by slow, or stuns on top of traps, pulling or jumping just at the -wrong time- FOR THEM, i cut my dps, i cut my medal gains, just to ensure a victory, rewards are slim, but they are there If this is not needed, im a ballrunner, if someone else has the ball, il put guard on the runner and CC everything i can along the way, so yes, tanks are usefull if they are done right, the problem is, most players who play tanks in pvp simply go and try being solo dps, in the ship over alderaan, on my jug, im guarding a console mostly until help arrives thats my job and work, come to me you better bring friends i dont die 1v1 easily, on my assassin, im harrassing the enemy team, making them split their forces to deal with me while im Solo,, usually this is 3-5 people i ALONE get on me, or stealing bases while a team member distracts them, at the same time making it easier for the rest of my team to take and hold the second base and most often even the third, in voidstar, as a jug, guard on the healer, protect him/her at all times, keep her alive, their healing makes it easier for the dps to kill the enemy team, slow stun everything that comes close to healers, CC'in their healers being a part of the job if they are close at hand, as assassin tank, stealth is key, place bombs, be where they dont expect you too, assist where its needed, cover up the slacks, ive seen other assassin tanks that can take on half a team and hold them off until the dead is released and thus saves the fight, just cause they can take ******** of damage and just ignore/absorb it, so finally, dont count tanks out, when you meet a good pvp tanker, trust me you i will take back your question. if you think alot of this is basic pvp -L2P- then why aint you doing it?
  7. allow me to simply state you, sir, mam whatever are an idiot. there are people on this planet who work night, or late shifts, when YOU get off work, you might see them on your way home one night, i promise they are all over the place, all over the planet. some people also have their weekends, on tuesdays wendsdays or thursdays while they work saturday and sundays, so get of your high hourse or il kick you off it, not everyone on this planet go to work at the exact same time if you belive that, which seems to be the case or else you would not have made the points you did above, sincerely, someone who works nightshifts while you are home and asleep.

After class quests are complete, the story ends there is no, btw -insert endstoryclass here- "we found something, go here and do whatever",, any sort of daily quest or weekly related to class could be amusing, perhaps as a sorcerer you could; dont want spolder skip to next bit. you can per week find yourself having to need to go to any planet, do a small quest chain which is put on a level where you might need the help of a friend or guild to progress through compleatly, which still you can do alot Solo, or with a compaion, loot for this is some standard weekly bag, or comendations of your choise, (X5 of any commendation) say you need X2 of any, you can select said commentation. (note this is endgame most have some ppl to call for help) for this bit, unique conversations or actions for since this person is in a group, operation? pvp? (maybe for future pvp's you can have the option to speak to a "warzone leader" which then lets you pick one of two paths, normally, however when person with said quest gets a third conversation option, (class quest related) if said person is the person who wins the conversation, a third option is granted for the pvp group, or operations group, this could be required to be done on operation hardmode for instance and grant, (the group) some extra grafting recipies or materials, while the questholder, gets maybe a high end mod?, piece of unasambled gear of matching level to hardmode of their choise? in pvp (possibly required to be a new one unless old ones are added with a zone leader as mentioned) you would be required to win or participate in a said/fixed amount of matches, if you then leave or abandoned even just -1- match your quest would be failed and then either have to pickthe last quest up again, or lose it all-together for that week, if you lose the match however you could just re-quene for the next, reward possibly 1-2 bags of your choise? unasembled gear slot of your choise? even just a cash reward? these weekly quests could be one out of... 2 or 3, and reset once every week maybe even once a month, thus not something you can just grind since you cant always win the conversation option all the time, you might be stuck with the quest for a few weeks thoughts on this? feedback?
  9. i could go for this, leaving the weekly as stated is a good idea as well, i cant even name the number of warzone players leaving when they enter and see its a lost cause, so if the daily was to complete 3 warzones alot more players would, only thing then i would suggest is to increase the time inside the actual warzone as a result, maybe just another 10 min, sound fair to you?
  10. topic says it all but il break it down anyway, there always one... i have a question about the black and yellow crystal pre-orders get, so far ive found the vendor with the crystal and ive gotten my first one in the mail, but im wondering something, i cant seem to find the same colour crystal for higher levels (is there even one?), and with better stats to match the higher level crystals, the crystal cant be broken down either with artifice, even for self-use only. Does bioware belive that only lowbies altmakers such as myself to actually want that crystal at higher levels have to skip out on a great deal of stats just to keep the colour? just to make things clear for the flamer posts i know will be about, i am not asking for OP stats, i am asking for a simple (insert blue-rate gem stats here) that perhaps can come at level 20,30,40,50 not epic quality, i can live without 10+extra stats of something but as of now, a +4 gem which currently is the only version VS any colour gem with at least 30+ stats is gona fail out hard.

The stuns are a joke here, im playing a healer and about an hour ago i was playing huttball, my team got the ball and i at once started shielding and healing the carrier, not long after he got stunned, i kept healing, after about 30 seconds, he was still being stun-locked, he couldnt even pass the ball, (the player with the ball knew how to pass and would have the second he could, he said in chat after he was finally dead he was spamming to pass the ball ahead) 2 min passed, he was still stunned, and we now where two healers on him, i dont care what you say about resolve, if someone can be stunnlocked for 2 min, 2 min ppl, that is a gamebreaker, to those who say ; why he simply not use break CC then? he did,,, he was stunned 0.5 sec after so he didnt even have time to finish GD... which says alot, this game seriously need diminishing returns cause clearly resolve aint working as intended.

  14. yes, once you have progressed far enough along your story line, simply entering the zone will be the way you get the quest.

  16. to all lof you who simply say to any of this; addons, macroä's custom Ui's; "you dont want them, dont use em" well how about you dont spam them in our face and make it so we HAVE to use them to make you shut up. example-* game interface mods* so, you cannot play with 2 bars on the bottom, and one on each side, man.. i feel for you, (not) maybe if you learn how to place your abilities you actually need in a good way, keybind what you can, place combo spells next to eachother, heres a tip* combat skills goes to first row, CD spells go just under it, buffs, healing items, on the side, shells, stances on the other in a row, not that hard ppl, coming from a 50 operative, i got healing, dps, ranged, melee, social items, crafted special items, my shells, worked out, guess what, all it took was 10 min to set it up after i dinged 50, you need to build an UI with what the game offers you, see it as a challange, dont expect the real world to let you simple re-arange something to your liking. (im still horrified by the in game footage i have of a player playing wow, with 2 BUTTONS, and he is raiding with it... i mean it 2 buttons 1 for dps 1 for healing, NOTHING ELSE. example-* G-score* well then, please turn your attention to wow, where you cannot enter a single heroic instance and raid if you are not a full time raider who do nothing but spam the latest of the latest raid content, only to be shouted at upon LOADING maybe 3 seconds if they are slow, the following; OMGWTF IS YOUR GSCORE! USUCK!! and then either try to /kick you, or ragequit themselves, sound familiar? welcome to g-score! (note the person has just made a complete judgment about the player based on the data his addon has given him, g-score low = very bad player avoid like the plague) for all he knows the player knows more about the tactics inside *watever place they have entered* better then he himself does, does he care? why should he gs is low, autokick* *also fyi, this is a heroic, game interface let me in, alas my gear is whats needed, the developers put those restrictions in remember* player is ignored and still autokicked* welcome to gs again! wow has stopped being about the game, now its all about who can get the best gear fastest for the lowest effort, dont belive me? please... close your addon interface window and take another look. ***** example-* healbot* players managed to heal fine without this for along time, all it needed was to turn your eyes -slightly- to the side and watch the healthbars, and then calculate in your head swiftly, which heal do i need to cast? if you have played a healer for any period of time and have any experience that goes past *i just respecced healer what i dooo??* you should have a rough idea of how long each of you heals cast timers are, how much they rougly heal, depending on your healing targets health, if you dont know this, dont play a healer, for both our sakes please.... example-* dps/healmeters* omg no, the spam of chats here we are again. *rolls eyes* i think most know what i mean by that, to see 4 players spam recount at once, in the end of wow made me totally ignore the /p chat, you do your job to the best you can, you cant autoattack in this game, its fairly easy to see who is slacking, (psst they dont move *nods* not hard to tell) wow's raiding developers now USE this to design the new raid content crushing down the numbers that you want, alas, if you have any interest in raiding you WILL NEED to get it, (thus your argument; dont want it dont get it* turns invalid) at first before addon's ppl took 15 min to explain tactics, passing a raid was a feat, it wasnt just something you did twice in one night cause you where bored, now all you need to know, is nicely placed on the web, spam this premade macro of, 1 1 1 1 1 1 2, 1 1 1 1 1 2, and you will max out your dps, players are no longer required to think on this level, all you do, is go download a macro, spam it, and hello! example-* deadly boss mods* did this boss spit fire... it looks like a dragon... do i avoid tail.. i cant remember... maybe i should ask.. ohh no wait.. i just actiavate my addon, people will think i know what to do since all the info i will need will be spammed on my screen in my face that others can do without the addon ITS PERFECT FOR ME! i dont need to remember or know ****! ^ this was actually said in raid chat of my endgame raiding guild in wow, guess how long it took him to get kicked. (under 30 seconds im not lyin, i laugh still thinking about it) example-* macro's* credits/gold/platinum spammers here we come galore! closely followed by 1-2 button spammers, who just copy pasted a macro from the web to max out healing/dps/threat. *hisses* again, players dont need to think, abusers have an easy time to reach the ingame market. no ty. ************************ summery* player 1; i say to you this, dont want them? dont use them? duuuh. player 2; so tell me, if you get these, how long will it take for me, before i HAVE TO get them to compete? to even get an invite to where you are going? (btw i have memorized the bosses i know what to and my gear is in the level of whats nee... ahh ok i understand il just be over here then) player 1; dont know anything, he just uppdates addon and follows the screen popups. ^this is todays wow gamebase. player 2; reads up on the bosses, studies, plans days ahead. ^this USED to be is gamebase. guess who of these now rule wow. anyone wanna hand me a lightsaber i wanna cut of the head of player 1 before he can infect others. *now how to solve this?* deadly boss mods* ok i can understand that some ppl want to see a enrage timer on the boss, sort of like a countdown before he bassicly kills you all, dont need an addon for that, developers can simply add in a countdown just the same as they have in warzones, no bigie. g-score, kill it with fire, i wont even consider this. Custom UI, at best, let players rearange the bars already in the game, nothing else. rift did this. meters, macro's for the love of all that is nonspam, nooo! healbot's ... ok, you'r level 50, you dont know how much your basic heal does when you cast it, not how long it takes too cast it, hmmmm yeah you fail, you have a brain, use it. now... let the flamming begin.
