  1. There's nothing god class about Sent/Mara, you just don't understand the class therefore can't see it's weaknesses. I have a gunslinger, I can counter Marauders quite effectively.
  2. You need to L2P stat. As for removing the speeders, how about they fix what needs fixing. The speeders have never been much of an issue. They already didn't need to add the 3 second delay, so taking them out is already another unnecessary breakage of the map. I've come back from deficits in half the games I've won. I've had plenty of 5 - 0 wins too. If you're not stuck with complete idiots, you can do it. If any map needs some serious adjustment, it's Hutt Ball. Making fire traps insta-death would be a nice change for starters.
  3. When you have 4 full BM characters pounding on one target receiving heals from a lone healer or the healer themselves and they won't die, it's overpowered.
  4. I've been advocating server merges for a while now. I keep getting the standard jerk off excuses as why they shouldn't. Community(hah, hard to have that when your lacking in large numbers), faction imbalance being worse(you can deal with that if you have equivalent numbers to keep it the same, currently about 2:1 Imp favor), or that it can't be done due to technical issues(probably the most ******** one of all). The large majority of servers are light and standard at primetime. I'd hate to be on a light primetime server since it's already got few enough people on a standard primetime.
  5. I've ripped out every accuracy piece possible. I've traded them for power and surge.
  6. Either way, the random ******** needs to go. Two players do the same work, they should get the same reward. Whereas right now, it's Player A could get a full set while Player B could still be stuck at half a set if that for the same amount of work.
  7. If you try doing something other than just standing there and taking it in the pve portion of things, you could easily memorize the abilities and what they're bound to. I have no issues keeping track between my various characters and different builds. It becomes muscle memory very quickly if you actually spend any amount of time playing the characters.
  8. You don't get it, you make it sound as if most of the classes out there require phalangial agility of the highest order, but that isn't the case. You need to get better and stop crying. You're doing it wrong.
  9. Except for they don't know **** all about pvping. I've seen PVErs in action, their gear won't save them.
  10. Practice more. The only classes that require anything close to piano playing are Sentinel/Marauder.
  11. Or you could stop crying over the skill that is fair given the class has one cc and has to stay within 10 meters to do any damage.
  12. It's not my mentality, but what is necessary to bring more bodies to the table. Given the scale of most of the maps in the game, there's a lot of travel time involved to find leveling areas and people to engage with. I don't need rewards to fight with someone. I just enjoy the thrill of it, and the unexpectedness and surprise that comes with open world pvp. The fact is, that most people who call themselves pvpers are not honest with themselves and need some sort of incentive to engage in it. I've rolled past many people in open world to see if they'd engage first just to measure before I had to turn around and attack them. I'm not even talking about useful gear. The rewards don't need to be more items, they can be merc comms, something that takes forever to collect normally. Give appearance items, high grade enhancements and mods normally only found in pve gear. I don't like it, but I'd rather have more people to fight instead of only bringing out the people who love to pvp, because given current server populations, they will take a while to find given the size of maps. Set up fights are not a solution to this either. I don't want premade/prescheduled fights because I might as well be doing warzones if that is the case.
  13. Simple solution, make the fire traps instant death. No more of bs with people walking through it, sprinting through it, or using defensive cd's to strut through it.
  14. Tank specs should not be able to dish out large amounts of damage. You shouldn't get both worlds. As a tank spec they should get the ability to absorb punishment and protect others from it. You shouldn't have the ability to dish it out and soak it up at the same time, it's imbalanced. There also should be no such thing as a light armor tank.
  15. True open world pvp needs two things to happen: more bodies on the servers and rewards for engaging in it. During launch when there was noticeably more people on every server, you could find fights all the time even without any rewards. You can blather on about 1.7 mill subs all you want, even if 75% of those "active" subs even log in on a regular basis anymore, there's just too many damn servers. Most locations outside fleet and Ilum, before they pretty much cut it out of the picture, have almost no population on them at any given time. Yes, I know there are few servers that still see Heavy and Very Heavy during prime time, but most are Standard with some Light during prime time. There just isn't the population for it. During off peak as of now, 12.6% of the 103 NA servers read Standard with the remainder reading Light. Of the 103, 41.7% are PVP servers and 11.6% of those read Standard. Before anyone goes on about East/West, 3 of those that read Standard are East and 2 of them are West. I know plenty of East coast players on West coast servers, so I think that plays less of a part than people will think. People tend to go where their friends are, and often end up on servers on opposite coasts from them. There's just too many damn servers. There's not going to be much of a sense of community because having 103 individual forums for each server would be a nightmare to moderate let alone maintain and that's not including all the Euro/Asia servers as well. They need to prune these servers and combine them. Take a look at population and faction balances and try to combine them as best they can. There's still going to be faction imbalances, that's a given at this stage. The faction imbalances aren't as noticeable if you have the bodies to put up a fight. This would also equate to faster queues for WZ as well and also minimize the problem that lesser populated faction runs into in WZ of not having a full team at start. Ilum is going to need some significant changes to keep it interesting and unique rewards to make it a viable option. There needs to be some reason outside dailies to go to Ilum to put up with the lag, because most quit once their daily/weekly is finished, so most the time it's a hunting trip instead of large scale pvp and that was before the current change. It's a ghost town most of the time now. Not everyone craves constant pvp and not everyone will engage in it if they don't get anything other than personal satisfaction for it. There needs to be incentives to get those that are less pvp-centric players to engage in it outside the premade box. There's plenty of things they could do to improve this and more carrots at the end of a stick they could add to encourage it. There will be no TL;DR for this. If this is too much for you to read, then you need to pick up a book once in a while.
  16. And yet I still kill them even with it. Here's an idea, cc them while the clock is ticking. Then you just sneeze on them and they die. It's a last ditch move that at best allows you to finish off one target while getting focused and you die anyway. This isn't god mode. It's not invincibility. They still take damage and can easily get bent over with it running. You just actually need to know how to play. The problem is most people are incapable of playing the class or putting up with the fact they are late bloomers so they don't know crap all about it.
  17. And yet that never stopped Enron and others.
  18. The skill has limited range and you can see the build up to get the stacks that make the skill hit hard. The two buffs that make it hit so hard are on short timers. CC them or push them back before they get it off. Job done.
  19. 1. I've been chain stunned for longer than 10 seconds, mezz or stun, if I can't move, fight or defend myself it's all the same. 2. My resolve bar drains far faster than 15 seconds consistently. 3. Don't care about the roots, but leaps and charges should be unaffected by them. 4. And yet with a full resolve bar I still get pushed and pulled occasionally. The inconsistency of the system is probably the most annoying aspect. 5. I've gotten perma-cc'd to death by lone players before, not every situation is 3 v 1. The ******** slow on lightning comes to mind. If your interrupt is on cd, then good luck not having to ride that ******** out. 6. Too many classes have cc's that disproportionately affect resolve. I've gotten hit with up to 5 resolve affecting skills before I got a full bar. It's not a L2P situation, it's a broken system. The system needs an overhaul, and EA/BW needs to pull it's head out of the sand and face facts.
  20. For light armor wearers, they're magically tough to kill most of the time.
  21. Yes, they are fine. The engine needs more optimization so that lesser machines or ones that don't have the magical combination of hardware and drivers can run it better. You either need to change your settings or get a better video card. I see no noticeable fps drop in warzones.
  22. Only place in this game that is an issue is Ilum. Everything else I get 45 at the worst with settings maxed and that's on station, I get better than that in warzones.
  23. If Void ties are random, they need to revisit how they randomize it, because it isn't random.
  24. There's drawbacks to being first, this is one. Considering a large number of them exploited their way to BM, this really doesn't even deserve consideration.
