  1. It's no secret that healing in this game is overpowered. The only people arguing that it isn't are the ones that are taking advantage of it's lack of balance. I would ask these people to not be short sighted and think about the good of the game first. The vast majority of people that PvP, do so to mess someone up. It's been the foundation of PvP in MMOs since PvPs conception. Now when healing imbalance turns the PvP experience into an exercise in frustration like we're starting to see, people quit and find something else to do. While it may be fun to take advantage of healing imbalance and spam LOL at these people while blocking their ability to achieve. It's not going to help with long term retention. We're already getting the same syndrome that Rift saw with it's overpowered healing. ie. stack healers and spam which leads to: Boring PVP is Boring! Leads to: see ya! Additionally, it's bad enough the combat mechanics in this game are so slow and clunky. Why would you want to add the slow boring grind that comes with overpowered healing into the mix? You're just exasperating an unpleasantness in the game.
  2. Everytime I read one of these cry posts about stealth I think to myself........here's a guy who's entire PvP strategy is to stay outside picking off as many easy kills as he can and got his *** busted by a stealther because his 3 button rotation isn't really adequate for an actual PvP encounter.
  3. Agreed! Please fix this! is no one at Bioware embarrassed by this? I would hope so.
  4. To hear the Star Wars theme when you log in, right?
  5. Title pretty much sums it up. Maybe someone who was involved in the beta test from early on can answer about whether there was one during testing. I can't remember ever playing any MMO where there was no combat log. So, my question to Bioware is; why no combat log in this game when it's part of every other MMO? You have to admit that this lends to the feeling that something is amiss in the combat system and omitting combat logs is an effort to keep it from being apparent. Of course I don't know this to be true and that's why I'm asking for some sort of official statement about this. If this has already been officially addressed by Bioware and someone would be kind enough to point me to it, I thank them in advance for that.
  6. As someone who was actually there. Queues were at least an hour long and when you did get in game you didn't dare loot anything for fear of the loot lag and then inevitable disconnect. Starting all over again in the Q. The launch numbers were also smaller than SWTOR.
  7. I'm with you man! We can set up headquarters at my Mom's house. She'll make chili and stuff. She's knows how much passion I have for sitting around, I mean sitting in.
  8. Everything about your perspective is off. I'll make it real simple for you and there is no need to internalize this. We all have our plights in life. $60 buys what it buys, period. Your feelings have nothing to do with it and your $60 isn't worth anymore than $60. It may be harder for you to come across $60, but your still not going to have anymore purchasing power or entitlement because it was. Operate on this principle and it may save you from posting silly emotes on forums in the future.
  9. You know what implicit means? No you don't. When it says "up to" 5 days; the one your asking for is implicit. Meaning that days 1, 2, 3, 4 are implied. Get off the forums and get back to school. Pay attention while your there.
  10. There was no "fine print". It clearly stated UP TO 5 days early. Actually, if you want to bust someone for making a statement and then trying to wiggle out of it; take a look in the mirror. ie. "taking full responsibility" means just that. It's not followed by "but" dialogue. Man, kids these days think they can word themselves into and out of anything.
