  1. LOTR online had only casuals that stayed too, look now, it's free to play.
  2. They need to do something because last night during prime time all American servers were standard or low, not one was high. It's been this way every time I check during prime time the past few weeks.
  3. Don't forget to get your PC Gamer Magazine Feb. 28th, a Planetside 2 beta key is inside! http://www.pcgamer.com/category/magazine/
  4. Yah, well I unsubscribed to WoW 3 years ago, so that's not the case for me. My all time favorite games were DAOC, Asheron's Call 1, and Planetside.......NOT WoW.
  5. They ignored general beta testers throughout testing and let us know we were basically there for stressing, and they knew best. The concerns we had with the game are now concerns paying customers have and we tried to tell them, but were ignored. Now they're in damage control mode trying to put those features in that we were concerned and we thought needed to be in a newly released game (standard features in an mmo these days too, mind you). They're spinning it as if "they are listening to the customers", and some people will buy it. Those of us that were in beta know differently. They could have had a customizable UI and numerous other things, but they chose to ignore testers opinions and put it on the back burner, so they could introduce it later in a patch or expansion as if to say "We are listening to your feedback customers". They seem to think their customers are a bunch of mindless fools.
  6. Exactly, It's 2012. When an mmo comes out they know they have to have the content to compete with WoW. Rift did it, I don't see how BW are exempt from having content because the game just came out. They had YEARS, and last year a whole year of "polish". There's no excuse for a game to come out half a**ed these days.
  7. I did all the pve raiding I could stand in WoW, I will never do that again. Doing scripted pve over and over and over for years was boring as ****.
  8. They had years and the last year they were working on "Polish" as they say. The game should have been in better shape. I had high hopes for SWTOR, but you can plainly see BW put their money into Voiceover and at endgame there's nothing to do but boring Wz grinds, a laggy boring aoe fest in Illum grinding, or easy heroic fps, operations. You're geared up in a week or so. I gave them 2 months, they get no more money from me. I can already see how they are with communicating with the community, and how they break the game even worse every patch, because they don't really keep it on the PTR long enough to make sure it doesn't break stuff on live. It's unacceptable, and I expect higher standards for a game of 2012. I probably would have put up with it if it were 2004 but not today.
  9. We don't have to, we can put our money where our mouths are and unsubscribe. That's what I have done. It is unacceptable for an Mmo to come out and run the worse on the best of rigs out there.
  10. I actually feel embarrassed for them when they boast of these silly little awards that mean nothing.
  11. Great post. There are so many reasons I unsubscribed to SWTOR, it would take too long to post them all. I was hoping it would be a good game, but at 50 it's absolutely boring, and no reason for me to hang around. I'm not willing to give the game a year to shape up just because it's new. This is 2012 and they've had years to "Polish" the game as they say. Sucks because there's nothing else to play out there except WoW, which I just can't go back to. WoW, was a great fun game but it's ran it's course for me 3 years ago. It got old and stale to me. Suppose I'll just wait for GW2 and Planetside 2 beta. So long SWTOR, I won't be subscribing again.
  12. Jung Ma, the Republic dominate the 1-49 and the 50 warzones. It's honestly 8 out of 10 matches win on average, and most of the time I may lose 1 out of 10 matches as republic. This is just random matches with rarely any full guild groups, just pugs. I do have 50's on Empire side Jung Ma too, but I abandoned them for republic. Republic on Jung Ma seem to be more mature, listen, and work well together to get constant wins. Empire on Jung Ma are more towards getting medals and don't care if they win a warzone, so they lose constantly. Come to Jung Ma people if you want a good republic server
  13. I agree, I wish they had real diminishing returns. Their resolve system is total S***.
  14. Pretty much, Voiceover. You can tell not much was spent anywhere else.
  15. They basically told general beta testers that had been testing for over a year we were there to stress, they didn't need us. They gave some high 40s a couple times that broke a lot so we only got to keep them a day or so, so not much endgame (what endgame there actually is) was ever tested by the general beta testers. BW barely acknowledged testers were there. BW came off as "we know what we're doing, what your opinions/concerns are we'll take into account, but we're the gods of this game". Now they're finding out that all that we had for concerns are just like we said, people would want these basic features at least in a new game that's out in 2012. So now they're scrambling to get this features in when we told them about it at least a year ago. They're putting it off as if they're "listening" to the community. They should have listened over a year ago. Now there will be some fanbois that fall for this and think they asked for some things after launch and now we're gonna get it. Fools...
  16. Take gathering skills only like scavenging, slicing, bionalysis. You can make a ton of credits selling them on the GTN.
  17. Very high population of republic and empire on Jung Ma. Any time of day there are lots of people on both sides.
  18. I'd love to have 4 bars on the bottom 2 is just not enough, and yes before some idiot says it, I"m well aware of the side bars.
  19. That's what I find odd too. I built 3 nice rigs around November for us totaling around $1400 each. No reason they should be running SWTOR so horribly in the fleet and illum. So I take this ancient dell we had sitting in the closet, for giggles download put SWTOR on it, Dimension 2400 that isn't even minimum requirements and it runs about the same fps as a brand new built rig? Wth?
  20. I7 2600K CPU 580 GTX GPU 16 GB Ram Harddrive: 120GB Corsair Force GT SSD SWTOR is the only thing that runs like **** that I've played. In Illum and the fleet fps drop like a brick.
  21. Jung Ma on Republic side has a lot of older mature people. Heavy server, with lots of republic and empire.
  22. I despise the droid, can't even stealth past him.
  23. That's not the reason they're bored. The reason is there is absolutely nothing else to do at 50 but wz's/fp's/operations...There should be extra fun stuff to do when you have done all those dozens of times already and bored of them already.
  24. That's the problem with SWTOR, and why in 6 months it won't have the subs they wanted to have. There's absolutely nothing to do but reroll at end game, and some of us would rather stick with one character as we always do.. The voiceover that they were counting on (God knows why) will not hold people to the game. I don't know why they thought it would. You have to have actual content in mmo's these days.
