  1. so you think the balance in this game is perfect? somthing that has never happened in an MMORPG ever? interesting. Im going to guess ur a maurader? They're not that OP just a shade too strong, but saying this game has no balance issues is just plain stupid.
  2. There are a lot of small reasons for the problems with keeping WZ groups full, but the low populations seem to be the biggest one. I never had problems the first couple months, if someone leaves they get replaced imediatly. If someone doest take their que a minute later there will be someone else in their spot. Some have said it seems worse since 1.2, well a lot of PvPers on my server at least have quit since then. The problem is once ppl leave their arnt even people to fill the slots half the time. This multiplys the problems of people afking or leaving ques when they pop because with less people you will feel the ones doing this more. I just cant wait until server merges/free transfers. It wont solve the problem completely but that alone would help it a lot.
  3. i loved these games. The conquest mode in 2 was awsome. face a budddy in it, who can carry their army best gogogogogogo. PvP in this game is like a 10x better version of the hero fight mode ( i dont know what its called when everyone only played the special toons like yoda obi wan or general grevious) and its interesting to see some of the similarities.
  4. Infil is very viable, mabey if you spent more time playing and less time making ****** videos you could play at a competitivly viable level. The best 2 guilds on my server both run with Infil shadows in their A team. I relize balance is easy to find a replacement for but infil isnt. But based on how you talk about infil thats not a spec you excell at.
  5. lol thats not what my OG post was about but the 2 of you went all, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT BALANCE CAN KILL HEALERS TOO, when all i said was its worse then infil at it ( if you find any part in any of my posts that says balance can not kill healers you get a cookie !YAY! Thats why my other post was about it. My original point is that balance is more support then infil. Infil being better at taking down healers is very closely related to this point because as a DPSer killing healers is generally your top priority. If you do it slightly less then another spec i would assume that you would get some sort of support in return, which is what balance is. Lose healer killing power for support through, cast and forget damage, force lift, and most of all sever force ( my personal favorite ability for shadows) And im not angry im just saying to the 2nd person that you blatently put words in my mouth, and when you do that you lose all credit in arguments. I can say that you said that infil cant kill healers, but you didnt say that so im not gonna say that. And it is quite hilarious that you down talk my post then call me a rager WHEN YOU HAVNT ADDED ANY INFORMATION ABOUT SHADOWS TO THE TOPIC lol. all you did was put words in my mouth and say the made up words were wrong...
  6. lol i never said balance cant kill healers. Your reading comprehension skills are piss poor. I simply stated that infil is better at it. It has an extra interupt in low slash and better burst. Infils DPS goes out the window when ur 2nd blackout is gone. As long as you dont **** up interupts and hit with ur backstabs the healer your facing will be dead by the time your 2nd blackout goes away. If your not going to read what i write then not only are u ignorant enough that your opinion is out the window, but your also gonna keep on going herpa derp i do 500k dmg a game that means i caused all those kills on the healer right herpa derp
  7. if you see your job as bursting healers, and you went balance instead of infil... my god are you doing it wrong. numbers on a stat screen arnt everything buddy, and believe it or not THE MORE DAMAGE YOU DO MEANS THE MORE DAMAGE YOU DO THAT IS GETTING HEALED( omg such a hard concept to get through many peoples heads) and you never multi dot? I'm not saying you do it all day long but you NEVER multi dot? lol and against top tier healers with BiS gear (sure i can take down the baddies very easily) balance is not the best bet. Sure you can take them down, but how long is it gonna take a balance shadow to take down a good healing scoundrel? around twice as long as an equaly skilled infil when i theorize i speak of facing the best oponents because theres really no point to speak of otherwise. And i never said, "healers are easily healing through your damage in Balance" i stated that it has the worst burst out of the 3 specs. Which it does. If you disagree then your doing the other specs wrong.
  8. I can make the argument that balance is at least a support-ish DPS. While it does have the most DMG of any shadow spec it also has the least burst( a more consistent burst then tank, but if tank has all its offensive CD up a project/ pebble cannon combo beats any burst we can throw out). Also while it has more DMG and generaly gets more kills thru AoE/multi dots, infil causes more kills through its burst, especialy when facing healers.(im assuming the other team has at least 1 compitent healer, if they dont then this statement is much less accurate.) So less burst, less killing potential. What does it have? pure damage. damage thats easy to heal through but damage that causes a healer to switch targets and clense much more then the other two specs would cause. You essentialy do so much damage to many targets that you allow your true bursters to take down the healer easier. (not to mention your burst is pretty decent with backstabs/executes or if u got ur offensive CD FiB is really nice burst.) Furthermore balance has the greatest CC of any of the shadow specs with sever force and the insta force lift(which also acts as a 1 seconds stun when needed) One can argue tank has better CC but sever force on hutball is just.... And lastly FiB is one of the best cap stoppers in the game AoE 30 yard range spell that doesnt require you to target a person first. mmmmmm is that tasty. While its not a "support" class, if you compare it to infil its hard to not call it supportish. Also if you compare it to shadow tanks who gear pure DPS and pretty much never gaurd(99% of them) its supportish. Its no support spec but it is OUR support spec. ( as support as a rogue arcetype can be)

  10. I really enjoyed that it took you to a low level planet, giving incentive to explore places where i would otherwise not go to ever again. I love how you guys didn't remove it. Some guildies and I were talking about it and it would be kool to find some people still infected months to a year from now just from it spreading around. The items obtained from it were a good choice the color crystal is mainly aesthetic but it is also a practical upgrade for people without ideal lvl 50 gear. Overall me likey event and me veri excite for more.
  11. reading ur post and looking at the pictures makes me think they made all the gear and assigned them to classes instead of the other way around. I agree with a lot of ur "this should be this classes and this should be this classes..."
  12. i never noticed this happen until today, i spiked a guy and he went backwards thru me, instead of forwards on the ground. this must be a new bug or sumtin cuz i never seen it until this patch. but who knows.
  13. luck has nothing to do with it lowslash literaly counters your main spell. if you use lowslash right you win the fight as an infil vs tankassin
  14. tankasins should be easy just look at their harnnesed shadows proc every time they use forcce lighting/pebble cannon. low slash low slash low slash. mix with ur stun you should be able to keep them from ever using their best move EVER. look at their procs and tankassins are really easy to stop as long as its 1 on 1, no when people start wasting their resolve so you cannot CC their pebble cannon thats when u got problems.
  15. if the dude im on needs to be CCd then the knockdown is the way to go, if you just want to kill him super fast i use backstab. initial blackout + 2nd blackout should keep u fine on energy. now if you know ur gonna kill the dude fast and switch to another target right away you may just wanna open up with force breach or clairvoyant strikes( whatever ur guys one is). like someone already said we dont have a "true" opener it really depends on the situation. hell with the whirlwind bug u might as well open up with that in a lot of situations to take someone outa the fight
