  1. He has a good one with a 7750 no worries if it will fit.
  2. Overclocking of her / his card was never stated so I write this off.
  3. Not for adjusting the fan ramp speeds. EDIT: In fact it's the best out ATM you have total control of everything. When i build a new PC it's the first thing i download after the operating system updates.
  4. Just a few steps to take. EDIT: Turn off your PC unplug the power and take the left side cover off your PC, should be easy maby 2 screws on the back or a latch plug the power cord back in and start your PC is the video card fan moving if yes then go to step 1. 1. Remove video card, get can of compressed air, hold the fan to keep it from spinning and clean your card out .(keep the can of air level or tilted up when doing this not pointed down) Then do step 2. 2. Download MSI afterburner and set your fan speed ramp 40C to 40% fan speed and 75C to 100% fan speed then check the box to make it active when your pc starts. 3. (this is not for people that can't build a PC) Replace heatsink grease. 4. Send card in for warranty if it's still covered and do #2 when you install the new card. 5. Sell defective video card to a friend and buy a new one and do step #2 ( This could be a power supply problem failing under load)
  5. Just to ask what are you using now for the CPU and GPU ?
  6. Then yes this will work just fine like i stated. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231445
  7. Depends on the CPU your going to use and if you overclock the CPU, i3. i5 at stock speeds 1333 MHz. OC a 2500K to 3.8 1600MHz the higher the clock speed the higher MHz Ram it will take advantage of. This will work just fine and you can add 2 more sticks if you ever need 16 GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231445 EDIT: This board is about $5 more and you can add anouther GPU for xfire/sli if you need to in the future. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131837
  8. Really if you look at the MB it has 1 PCIe 16 slot running at x16 the other is x4 so the only crosfire your going to see is the hybird using the built in graphics and a cheap GPU. The board is not made for running 2 cards.
  9. If your going to upgrade or build a new PC do not go cheap or 2 years from now you will be doing it again. A GTX 550 or a 550ti is not much of a gaming card. If you think you can run 2 monitors off it thats just wrong (will not work for gaming)
  10. Yes that was a mid range PC a few years ago. Their not much to upgrade I would really need a link to the exact pc you have. Or if it was built by somebody other than a BIG BOX store will need the motherboard brand and model and your power supply make and model. It could be posible to overclock the CPU some, add or upgrade RAM, and their a slight chance your video card is not getting all the power it needs (usally this will cause a system reboot). Are all your settings on low with shadows turned off in game? Other than that i would upgrade the ram to 8 GB this is a good site to start it has a feature to check for upgrades Crucial.com You could also check here for some system streamlining. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=1198 EDIT: also need your mointor or tv rez ie: (900p. 1080p, 1200p)
  11. Download MSI afterburner and raise the fan ramp speed. But to me i see no differance between mid settings and high so why bother.
  12. Why do people say this when 99% of the people know their a cap of 111 FPS
  13. Video card and power supply as of now you have built in graphics and not a video card. If you can post a link to the PC you have or know the maker and model # i could help.
  14. What he siad unless its a 720p monitor if they still make them
  15. The FX 4100 is just bad at gaming. http://budget-gaming-computers.com/gaming-cpu-ranking-chart.html
  16. Looking at a new PC to run SWTOR what do you think? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110862564265
  17. I would like to see a video of your max settings or rather the slide show. http://www.hwcompare.com/6900/geforce-gt-430-oem-vs-radeon-hd-6770/
  18. That's just not true my wifes AMD system runs it just fine mid settings without the eye candy. Antec Neo Eco 400 Watt PSU, AMD II x 2 at stock 3.4 GHZ and a 6770 GPU. But he has a slim line and their really no room to upgrade.
  19. Thats old stuff i guess its used may i ask the price?
  20. It's the slim line PC their no room for upgrades. The 2 cards above are about your only hope. If you take tos side of your case off, get a tape measure, find your video card and measure how much room you have for the card. The size of the cards i listed are in the details in the link.
  21. New PC time their really nothing to upgrade to that is even close to a gaming card. Take the side off and measure if it will fit or not. Will be a upgrade but not a good one. However this (should) fit. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127612 This one (might) fit. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102958
  22. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128537 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115077 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131374 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231426 Keep the same PSU and add windows 7 or this one is ready to go reserve of $600 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gaming-PC-That-comes-with-windows-7-and-a-gaming-video-card?item=110854405877&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D2%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7513895066687739813
  23. Video card those do not have one just built in graphics, Power supply and cooling if they can be upgraded. This is ready to go the reserve is set at $600 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gaming-PC-That-comes-with-windows-7-and-a-gaming-video-card?item=110854405877&cmd=ViewItem&_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D2%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D7513895066687739813
  24. 3 monitors of the same screen size and rez, more than 1 video card, and a active adapter for the 3rd monitor. A single 6970 GPU will not give you good performance (in this game) for gaming with 3 monitors.
