Oh please, if the devs spent the next 500 years trying to fix all the screw-ups and cut corners they did, it wouldn't touch 1/3 of the problems that we have. Sigh.... should just nuke the game and start from scratch and get it done right the night time. Learn from the EQ franchise or Rift.

Holy Crap!!! What happened to the forum - it looks absolutely hideous and things are hard to find now. Everything is so bunched together and crowded. Is there a way to use the previous version. I understand the game devs have made a mess of the game but that doesn't mean we have to do it here. It is so user unfriendly. Who designed this?? What? Are we trying to make this like the game now??? Or is it maybe the browser I'm using? Just looks so "cheap" now... Why does everything associated wtih this game/company have to go to hell?? Why can't there be nice things here? God, what a strain on the eyes this board is now.

You know what? I feel you 200% I too was suckered by the Bio-Fail hype (I loved playing the KOTOR games and I love Star Wars). I thought the game was going to be like the movie trailers - to my chagrin - noooooooooooooo!!! Major disapointment. Anyway, one of the failsafes that I have is that I sub to a few games, I like to play games and will be playing on my 50s in Rift today while the Bio-Fail machine tries to salvage what is left of this Fail Sauce of a update lmao! Rift is offering free up to lvl 20. I say, try it out - their graphics engine blows this game away completely. It's a fun game, nice bunch of ppl there, things WORK - funny how that is in a proper MMO. Nothing is instanced out except for dungeons/raids. We have World events, zone events, monsters everywhere, fun prizes, cool mounts and cute fluff - I love pets. If you're familiar with the EQ franchise, I also play EQ2, they have shinies too My advice to all you ppl here is to not get too mad, well I'm pissed off to be sure but go and play something else that's fun and just enjoy yourself trying something new. If you like it, great and if not, well, there are other free to try games and who knows, you may find something you like - fancy that

Sir, the only flaw I can find in your choice of games is the fact that how long ago did they come out?? We now are in the 21st century of gaming technology. We have the technology and the knowledge to prevent all of these things. And if anything, BW should have done their homework and saw these past mistakes, learned from them and created a process to avoid these problem areas. I have a Masters in IT, this is IT basics 101.

OK Sugar, don't get ahead of yourself the graphics in this game are crap. Rift has SUPERIOR graphics if we're going to talk gaming here. A FEW bugs??? Unless the database becomes corrupted or damaged beyond repair. This can happen when backups are not performed or not cross-checked using hashes. But we will see just what the end will be. Could be good, BW looses all our stuff, we quit and go play another game and EA/BW out 3mil dollars - I couldn't be happier

An "accident" of this magnitude causes one to raise eyebrows such as myself - I have a masters in IT. That's why I'm doubly pissed off with them. I EXPECT to be compensated for my lost time and I would hope all you guys out there would demand the same thing. Why should they take our money without giving us a value product? NO, we have a legitimate reason to be upset. BW pulls this crap without warning?! What MMO does that???!!!! Why would you even tolerate this type of crap??!! And I think we, as the TOR community, need to stand together and DEMAND from BW to refund us time lost due to their continual incompetence. And don't defend their horrible actions either. Tell me this. What's going to happen if they tell you they made a major error, like it would be the first time - right??, and all the guild banks with all your stuff and MONEY (including the 600K) was LOST - i.e., erased due to server error or file corruption. What are you going to say then? "Oh it's ok, I'm a biodrone and if BW lost my stuff, I still have faith in them, love them and worship the ground they trod upon... they can do no wrong...." Aren't you ppl sick and tired of all these problems already by now??? We're WAY past the, "TOR just released, it's a new game phase." It's time that BW/EA start getting their act together. Because frankly, I'm sick and tired of having more downtime than playtime. We need to DEMAND to be refunded game time or have them give us something ingame, mount, pet, something for all of these issues. When Trion (from Rift) screwed up they compensated us with a trinket that increased our ability to get 10% more money from mob drops. Yeah, it was a small trinket but guess what, it showed that Trion cared about their community, they fessed up and said they made a big mistake, we're sorry and here's something for you. When was the last time that BW did that for us besides price gouging???? Time for us to take a stand....
