Here Here, spoken like a true Biodrone. I bet you probably work for the company as well - ergo, no profile picture. BW/EA has had ENOUGH time to get their act together. The time for excuses is OVER. They need to cut their losses and make this F2P already. The game is still Beta quality. They obviously have no understanding of an SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), the game engine is 10 years old, the graphics are horrible, there are so many bugs STILL in this game, I can see them walking across my screen. There is no viable end game content - ergo the creation of this tragic legacy system that encourages you to create an endless amount of alts - another proof of no viable end game. On top of that, they insult you by having you buy the legacy garbage instead of giving to you for "proving your worth." Pets/companions are a total joke in this game. Professions are absolutely useless and better gear can be acquired via drops. People are sick and tired of the lack of Customer Service (CS) and/or having their tickets randomly deleted wtihout explanation. Tired of being blatently lied to by BW - promising one thing and getting a piece of garbage instead. Bioware, you tried, you overhyped, you released too early and you FAILED BIG TIME. Change the game to F2P, then at least you can try to salvage what you can and push out patches and updates and a quicker rate. Oh wait, that's right, you can't push out patches and updates as fast as other games because you dug yourself in a hole with the Voice Overs (VO). For any major Xpan that you will release, you're going to need the voice actors - no voice actors, xpan is pushed back even further. Do the right thing and make it F2P...

EA is only worth in the area of 5-5.5 Bill whereas nexon is in the area of 8-8.5Bill - Nexon could pull it off. And hope they do and fire the EA ppl and put their own in place These would be liquitable assets of course. Nexon should buy them out and then restructure everything - it prob would be for the better...

I just miss playing a good game... but that's neither here nor there. Nope, can't logically see any need to give this fail of a company any more money. They took a great concept and what could have been a great game and totally trashed it. I'm sticking with Rift - they have endgame content that's ENDGAME.

You guys just have to realize, whether you want to or not, that the legacy system is nothing more than a cheap move from BW to cover up, or more divert your attention really ;o, their fail of not having any end game whatsoever. That's all fine and dandy. I really could care less about BW or EA's pathetic excuses for giving us a piece of unfinished crap for a game and then having the nerve to charge us for it. They should've gotten this thing right the first time. Since this game "borrowed" so much stuff from other games, why not borrow the good stuff. It's obvious they they REALLy don't know what they're doing, working with a fail of an engine. I don't accept their useless excuses - I expect results. They should just fire all their useless devs and get some pros to come in and try to salvage this game before it goes south in the crapper where it really belongs....

I couldn't agree with you more. That's why I'm playing on a private wow server - no pandas, no fail nonsense just good fun dungeons and spanking mobs. I'll prob check into the private swtor servers too to make a comparison to see if they're crap works better than the garbage here. I wouldn't be surprised if they're stuff works 100% better than here.

The game will go F2P - once ppl see all the issues, they won't want to continue their subs. Why would someone want to pay for a sub par game with bugs, no end game and a piece of garbage???

The basic problem here is this, BW was great at creating 1st person games: KOTOR for example. They have no clue whatsoever when it comes to a value MMO. AAA MMO - REALLY - how tragic... WoW is more AAA than this FAIL SAUCE but I place the majority of the blame on the "Kiss of Death" i.e., EA games. Everything they touch withers and dies. They have been voted as the very worst company in this country and really should go bankrupt and out of business...

Well, I suppose as to whether or not TOR should go free to play is a moot point as there are free private servers now that ppl can play on and get cool stuff. I personally haven't been there but have seen them spring up. And they prob work much better than the FAIL SAUCE that the devs hash out here lmao!

This is an interesting philosophical question in which the answer would be no. I'd be surprised if the devs has a concept of what was going on around them in real life let alone in a complicated MMO - but then again, as evidenced by the FAIL of this game, that speaks for itself...

LOL Keep looking - this game is set up mostly to be instanced so I hardly see a single soul on when I play - during the day and night, week days and week ends. It's depressing...

I think the Titanic had a better chance at being saved than this game but then again, this game is called the "TORtanic" anyway... Some things were meant to last, WoW, EQ franchise, and some things were meant to go down faster than a $2 whore. It's just the nature of the beast....

Let's not forget that this joke of a "promo" is ONLY geared towards ppl with toons at 50. Because they are the "loyal" players. I don't think I've heard a worse piece of crap in my entire life. What, you have a 50 and that makes you "loyal???" I've been playing since the beginning and none of my toons are at 50 cuz I like to take my time and rotate inbetween my toons but I guess that since I'm NOT at 50, even though I've given their sorry assets a sub from the beginning, I'm not a "loyal" player. This company makes me sick and hope they get investigated by the SEC.

I'm debating with myself as to whether or not to play TAPS now or wait a while longer when the game goes F2P....
