Sorry to tell you but the airlocks and orbital stations will NEVER be removed from the game - we're stuck with them. Why? Because BW decided to be cheap and use a piece of garbage called Hero Engine. What's so "special" about this game engine? It's specifically used to create instanced games. You know, the kind that kids out of college make when they are starting out making games. It's a low lvl piece of trash. We need the airlocks and orbital stations as they are a way to move from instance to instance - oh, didn't the devs mention that??? I guess not, so as to not raise the ire of the gamers... Ooops, I guess I let the cat out of the bag lmmfao!!!

I like to play games - just saying first off. I came from WoW. Tried out Rift - got bored but I will say that their graphics engine is superior to this piece of garbage that BW is using. Played this game ONLY because I'm a huge fan of Star Wars and KOTOR I & II which I played religiously. This game has been a major let-down. The devs have no clue what they're doing. Using an antiquated piece of garbage for a gaming engine (I have a Masters in IT so I'm aware of software garbage when I see it ). The graphics are terrible in this game - why couldn't they use something like what Rift did?! We're in the 21st century of gaming technology. There is ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE to use garbage unless you're being cheap and cutting corners which they did CS here is rubbish using outsourced, 3rd world ppl who: 1) don't know the game whatsoever; 2) can't even string together a coherent thought in English. Am I disappointed, am I pissed - you betcha! I spent $150 for the CE and didn't even get what was promised to me ingame - talk about feeling cheated on multiple levels. Cancelled my sub and maybe will come back in 6 months after the devs decide to MAYBE get their act together. I subbed for a year wtih WoW - there are still a lot of nice things to that game and I'm never bored with it. And as for pandas, so what. They've been around since WC3 and DID help Thrall found and build Org - for those of you interested in WoW lore. And let's remember one important thing, a panda is still a bear that can rip you in half with one paw

ACTUALLY, if you read your lore, you would know that the pandaran helped Thrall found and build Orgrimmar. So besides being a "joke" they ALSO had a vital role they played in WoW lore

Agreed. The game, in its current form is BORING TO DEATH... As you said, I can sit down, start WoW and look up at the clock and 8 hours have passed. This game I start and want to put it back down 5 min later Not something I was looking forward to seeing that I'm a big Star Wars fan and used to play KOTOR I & II religiously like WoW - there's something DEFINATELY amiss in mudville....

Like I said, BW COMPLETELY destroyed the lore with KOTOR. If Jolee was 30 lvls above Revan, then how could he kill him in the scene where Bastilla turns into evil mode on the roof of the Rakata temple??? Makes no sense whatsoever... Should've left it to Obsidian to do the story - hell, should have left it to Obsidian to do the entire game as BW has made a frightful mess of this one...

Favs were KOTOR I & II. I also modded the hell out of the game. My exile had more force powers than existed lol! And I must say, it is much better than TOR With KOTOR I can flow with the story and the game actually works lol!

Your statement only reinforces the fact that Sidious was NOT the strongest sith lord. He needed clones... Let's take a look at Darth Nihilus who could "eat" entire worlds. He didn't need clones. But then again, he was easy to kill in game - game developer fault not his lol. My point is, Darth Sidious may be a powerful sith lord yes, but compared to the ancient ones, he was just another toddler...

Oh please. These new kids couldn't hold a torch to the old jedi's and sith. Even kreia herself, when speaking to the exile, said that if the jedi/sith in her day were to combat the ancient sith lords, it would be like children going against adults. Same comparison with revan and vader - revan's knowledge of the force is leagues above and beyond vader could ever know. Plus, let's not forget that vader is "restricted" as to what he can and cannot do in the force due to his armor restrictions. That's why we see him force choking mostly and no force lightening...

BW just completely made the KOTOR series into a joke and I find it insulting that they would even DARE call this game, "the Old Republic" - it has nothing to do with anything from KOTOR I or II. No lore or anything. It's like lot's of ppl already said, WoW in space and a VERY poor version of it as well.

Hmmm... just checking out torhead looking at one of the items that was removed from this game by BW, what else is new???, and noticed that Rift is now F2P for the first 20 levels like WoW. Is Rift even a year old?? That was a mild shock to say the least. I wonder how long this game will go to F2P for the first 20 levels? Any guesses??
