  1. It's a combination of Twin Saber Throw and High-Tail It for the Gunslinger, the direction of movement is based on the camera angle, and it strikes all enemies in a straight line. If both of those abilities have been working fine (with more praise than complaints since their addition) then I would assume this one will be just fine as is.
  2. Did you know that it's been 6 Months without the chance to Conquer Rishi or Yavin-4? More Info here.
  3. It has been 6 Months without the chance to get <Conqueror of Rishi> or <Conqueror of Yavin-4>. Please update us on your plans for Conquest moving forward, and don't tell me information is coming soon™, it stopped being cute when you stopped informing us of what we keep paying you for.
  4. Time to browse the interwebs for random nonsense while we wait...
  5. No Heals + No boosts to Tank mitigation, would make it more challenging... Think I'll roll a no AC character with a few friends and see how far we can get.
  6. Seriously though, why is there such a discrepancy between the frequency of each planet for Conquest titles? Was hoping to be able to conquer the galaxy before this new Valkorion guy gets his hands on it.
  7. TL;DR: There's not enough opportunities to acquire the Conqueror of the Galaxy achievement, and it seems as though the Conquest schedule and lack or Rishi/Yavin-4 are to blame for it. Purpose of this post: To inform developers that there hasn't been an opportunity to get the achievements for Conqueror of Rishi or Conqueror of Yavin-4 since February 17th. Since 3.0 the requirements for Conqueror of the Galaxy achievement have been changed to require Rishi and Yavin-4 for completion. There has only been 2 opportunities to get either Rishi or Yavin-4 since then, allowing only 2 Guilds per server to qualify for the Galaxy Achievement. Data to support and elaborate on this thread: Please refer to my documentation of Conquest events since their launch on August 19th 2014: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...Jqw/edit#gid=0 I have been meticulously updating this sheet to reflect my Guild's Conquest goals on The Shadowlands throughout its' entirety. This includes every Conquest type in order of occurrence. Extended analysis of the situation (including player perspective): In the original launch of Conquest CZ-198 was not included as a requirement for the Conqueror of the Galaxy achievement, and discovered to not be rewarded to the first Guilds that conquered it on September 2nd. This was fixed later on to ensure the future Conquerors of CZ-198 would receive credit for their achievements, but was not added as a requirement for the Galaxy achievement. During the initial stint of Conquest, the frequency of Oricon and Section X in the rotation were limited to 3 times, which would only allow for a maximum of 3 Guilds per server to attain their Galaxy achievement. When 3.0 was launched and Conqueror of Rishi and Conqueror of Yavin-4 were added as stand-alone achievements, they were also added retroactively to the requirements of the Galaxy achievement, setting most Guilds back by 2 planets toward their goal. Since the inclusion of Rishi and Yavin-4, there have only been 2 opportunities to receive either of these achievements, meaning only a maximum of 5 Guilds per server were eligible for their Galaxy achievement. Following the schedule until July 1st 2015, this would mean that in the 41 weeks of Conquests available, where you only need to Conquer 17 different planets for the Galaxy achievement, only 5 Guilds were able to achieve that goal in the first year. Guilds that have been competing since start that have missed their first 2 chances at Rishi/Yavin-4, leaving them with a maximum of 16 Conquered planets (1 of which does not count toward the Galaxy achievement) have gone 25 weeks without a new planet to conquer. Some background on my involvement in Conquest: Since the launch I have greatly enjoyed Conquest and have striven to keep my Guild competitive and Dominant so we could have fun together and get our achievements as fast as we could. I have plotted strategically to avoid more active and wealthy guilds on our Server and held our guild evenly with them through-out our goal of being one of the first Guilds to acquire the Conqueror of the Galaxy title, which has also put us in the top 10 conquest Guilds in the World. So without going into any of my own feelings or opinions on the matter, I ask for a response from the development team to acknowledge the situation at hand, and hopefully provide some comforting information regarding the near future of Conquest and possibility of seeing more Rishi and Yavin-4 in the coming weeks. Thank you for your time, -ScicleX

  9. Yeah we had a similar event occur while waiting for our OP to start Lol. http://i1061.photobucket.com/albums/t468/Scythex25/Wedidntstartthefire1-9-2014.jpg
  10. Covenant of the Phoenix would be more than happy to have you! We currently have 4 Guilds (2 Republic, 2 Imperial) to house as many characters as you want, and the funds to expand more if we run out of space (again). We also have multiple scheduled and impromptu casual raids, as well as 2-3 Progression teams working on end-game content, all of which are still looking for steady members to fill multiple roles. We're a very casual and laid back Guild, and want to make sure our members are playing how they want to above anything else. Although we do require a more serious frame of mind during our Progression nights to promote easier completions. Feel free to check us out if you're interested at cotp.info, or join our custom chat channel in game on either faction with "/cjoin cotp" and ask to speak to a recruiter to get you in.
  11. I would like to ask the Conquest community on our Server to help share their experiences and opinions on the current schedule and lack of Rishi/Yavin-4 availability so we may hopefully receive a response from the developers on the issue. 12. Just bought myself a NiM TFB run with Reconstructed Hypergate decoration. Was very easy to set it up, and a quick run to boot. Thanks all!
  13. This is why I will never own one of these: WARNING! NSFW, Suggestive Adult content.
  14. So let's squash the debate of what "most" buyers do when looking to buy something with a 1 credit difference. If you see something you want to buy on the GTN at 300,000 credits, and another at 299,999 credits, which one would you buy? I would always buy the 299,999 because it is cheaper, I don't care for politics and just want to keep my hard earned creds.

  16. A name purge would be nice at this point to free up some names to make some people happier. If somebody doesn't play the game for over 1 year, doesn't check their emails for warnings of losing names if not logged in within the next few weeks, or doesn't pay a subscription for the game, then they shouldn't be upset if they return to find their name reset. Making everybody happy about everything is never going to happen, making the majority happy while giving the minority a chance to avoid being purged is a very safe play that will make current players want to continue playing. Players wanting another purge > Players afraid of losing their names. QoL for Subscribers actively playing the game > Possibly losing Non-Subscribers & Inactive Players.
  17. Take it from this guy, PVP in SWTOR is SO FUN he levelled 16 characters from 10-60 doing nothing but PVP!

  19. You can only click the "Invade" button once per guild ship per week, and only within the first 3 days of Conquest. Once you pick your planet you're stuck on it until the week ENDS, you will also forfeit your week if you don't choose a planet in the first 3 days. I suggest keeping track of the guilds on your server and what planets they have already acquired, as most guilds only want each planet once then give up. Some will continue to get planets multiple times for new members, while some will end up disbanding after getting a few and end up in other guilds. Use swtorconquest.com to search for information on past conquest wins, and make a chart like I did: CotP Invasion Targets that tracks every guild and plots out possible competitions each week, and predicts where the "TOP" guilds are going to go each week, so your smaller guild can avoid them and stand a better chance.
  20. The community is very interested in what other guilds on our server are accomplishing in OPs, and would appreciate it if everyone would post their progression regardless of 8/16 or SM/HM/NiM. As most of us who have done both can attest, 8m and 16m kills are entirely different fights and deserve separate recognition for the accomplishments. It also helps establish what percentage of players are able to down current bosses, so the up-and-coming raiders know what to expect before entering progression.
  21. Submit an in-game Item/Loot ticket to request your shells back, they may be able to return them to you if you can give them enough information about when it happened.
  22. The more variable the rewards the more demographics of players that will potential queue to receive them. I personally am after the Decorations foremost, but wouldn't mind having the color crystals. Removing the decorations would discourage players like myself from participating. Going off on a whim but it might also be cool to see a reputation system for ranked, or a vendor similar to the manaan vendor or kuat vendor that accept tokens from ranked to purchase rewards. This would incentivize playing multiple characters every season to get the tokens you use to buy more expensive rewards.
  23. I'm unsure what DiLiH (TRE) is but I've stopped tracking other servers, as I couldn't keep up with the workload. The spreadsheet I have is still being actively updated to show CotP's current progression, and to partially track what our competition on the server has accomplished.
  24. 340 Days, 21 Hours, 14 Minutes. Almost at the 1 year mark.
