This! Even with our guild I am wary of the gbank as we have so many items/credits/cartel packs donated for contests/prizes, we always ensure we can not get taken advantage of, especially with the high attrition/turnover rate of players in guilds. Even with our guild officers / multiple toons we have limits of 100k per week, 3 or 5 item restrictions so should an officer ever become disenchanted, have a moment, rage, they can not clean us out with alts. I trust all members we have in our guild and we adhere to banking policies for the guild, but there can always be that ONE player who joins just for the bank. You never know, and with safe guards, the members you trust will respect the choices as well as enforce the guild bank rules.

<Shadow Alliance> is looking for casual-social players who are looking for a guild. Full Perks, Conquest Objectives, Functional Guild Ships, Cross Factions, Group Runs for Fun, Contests. Active chat. Heya, If you are still interested, let me introduce Shadow Alliance to you as a guild for consideration. Our website is at http://www.shadowalliance.org We are a casual-social guild, we participate in "Conquest Objectives," we have active members and guild ships both on the Republic and Imperial side, we do weekend Operations pre-planned as well as running internal "PUGS" through the week, this is with guild members as available. One of the major items which also set's us apart is that one side our house is not favored over the other. We build and recruit our rosters on each side. i.e 20 players did not make PUB toons and abandon the IMP side, and vice-vera. Heys! Let me introduce you to the Shadow Alliance guild. Were a casual-social group of mostly mature adults (consider we are gamers!) with active military, vets, returning, new and experienced players. Were more in this to play and have fun together. We also went cross-faction and are now building our membership on the PUB side as well, so you won't be in a guild without anyone to chat with or do some runs for fun. I'm a huge Sims fan, and do a bunch of our decorating and always want another decorator and eye. I think we have what both of you may enjoy! We don't have a ton of noise with 60 players on at a time so we can maintain our social aspects, hard to keep track on different conversations with that many players in /gchat. Hey everyone looking at guilds or interested in guilds which have an active presence in game. Shadow Alliance has welcomed many new and returning players along side our vets and we continue to grow! We have been revisiting the classic ops for players with us who either had bad experiences in pick-up groups, or who never had the chance to visit end-game content as their were not enough interested by players in their prior guilds. We have also gone cross-faction, and have a PUB chapter by the same name! So if interested in a guild, where you can have fun, and play with like-minded players, be sure to give us a look! Hey Kurt, I actually have a character or three that I want to do these on, and have set-up a recurring schedule with my guild for a monthly run as we have several folks who farm Oricon and can always use the extra credits for 3 minutes or work for seekers, macro's don't really do much but it is still nice to have the accomplishment. So I saw this thread and thought I would jump in just to add more comments. I am a TANK. I am a new TANK. I like being a TANK. I don't TANK in OPS with PUGS. I am having much fun being the tank. I ignore everything else but the main focus. As soon as the mob/boss turns away, I taunt it back. I keep Guard on the healer, or the higher geared person who can take aggro away from me. What happens a bunch of times, especially during the Gree Event on Ilum, the DPS folks do AOE attacks before I have even initiated combat. When I running KDY to level up before 12x was available, the DPS folks thought they were tanks. I think the education which needs to be implemented to newer players, is let the tank tank. DPS should not think they are tanks. They usually play solo so are so used to attacking first. It's like the one OP, don't push the button! /Cheers Miri

Hey all! I just wanted to give all of you who posted and exchanged private messages with me a shout out and say thanks! We did mixed group run in EV with our 50-60's and it was a lot of fun. We had four players with us who were returning / new who had never experienced end game content, and while it was a breeze for our 60's and not taking damage, the new folks had an awesome time, they talked about it in /gchat for 30 minutes on how they were nervous, sweating, and having fun! We did wipe a couple times on the enrage times (Infernal Council), or fell to our deaths (SOA) but it was hilarious! So thanks all! /Cheers Miri
