  1. Snipers with Entrench and Gunslingers with Hunker Down in Odessen Proving Grounds. IMMUNITY to stuns IMMUNITY to knockbacks IMMUNITY to interrupts holding a Deactivate buff on an enemy node. How is this even remotely fair to the other team? Absolutely no way to stop them unless you can kill them in less than 3 seconds every time, which in regular queue is highly unlikely. So, your team's buffed node with 8 people at it is still guaranteed to fall if a Sniper/Gunslinger with a Deactivate comes in. This is already the toughest warzone to win because of the amount of strategy each player must know coming in from a solo queue to account for what is best for their team each round. So having this huge oversight literally sucks any fun out of the match because even doing your absolute best to try and stop it, you still can't. Class > Skill, and nobody likes that.
  2. I was kinda disappointed to open the 2 Victorious Armor sets that were rewarded from DvL because they were neither BoL or added to collections, meaning new characters can't ever use them, and I now have to use up an extra 14 Cargo slots to store them in case I need them for future outfits. It would be super helpful to change them to either BoL so they only take up 14 spots on my server rather than 14 per character, and can be sent to new characters; or add them as collection unlocks so they don't take any cargo space and I can pay to unlock them for new characters on my account.
  3. I received my 240 CC grant after the patch today, but for some reason I still have the pass in my inventory, not sure if this was intended or not, just seems different than was described in previous posts.
  4. WHY!? Like seriously, do they know what an achievement system is? To do nothing other than to show off your achievements, which now you can't do because instead of an achievement system we have a in front of the scenes developer tracking tool. Then make it so the people that already did it don't have to do it again, or change it to DvL 2016 and add new achievements... Why are they being paid for their jobs? If the entire internet can give them the feedback to not do stupid crap before they do it, then why do they still get paid for making everything stupider than it has to be... /rant
  5. The problem is trusting what Bioware actively considers "Intended play". Cantina Guest: "Can we extend Legacy Level past 50 and/or add rewards?" Musco: "People are already Legacy 50!?" That was at a point where I had been Legacy 50 for half a year and they still didn't know anybody was there already. So does that mean my play-style is considered an exploit because they didn't intend me to get there that fast? It's the fact we can't trust the developer's estimation of how fast people can "exploit-free" gain XP that makes this all pointless to issue a pre-emptive warning for something us and them have no inclination as to where the highest possible grinder can earn without "exploiting".

  7. Would've posted this on Twitter but that's offline too. xD
  8. I. Can't. Even. So even though I've had them refund this same type of mistake before, and seen many other people have their tokens refunded, there's nothing they can do but lecture me on it? After taking over 2 weeks to respond, then blaming it on the release of 4.0, which has been out for 4 months now including through the 1st of the year when it's easier to hire more people to handle these types of things... I'm completely done with any EA or BioWare merchandise. I've gone from disappointment to just plain **** you. There is literally nothing they are doing right with this game anymore, and I'm passed the point of hoping for it to get better, because it's not, and I'm mad at myself that it took this long for me to accept that.
  9. I stayed subscribed to this game for the MMO aspects of it, including OPs, FPs, Warzones, and GSF. There is not enough focus on these areas of play to justify paying $15 a month anymore. The communication from the developers still appears ignorant and as a means to placate the community, rather than to properly inform us; and recent events have further solidified this impression. I enjoyed the KotFE story content once through, but I don't feel it had enough replay-ability to be considered a true expansion. I am already playing multiple other MMOs that have smaller reported earnings, yet have faster updates and bug fixes than SWTOR provides. This shows me that most other MMO developers are more invested in their games, and better at allocating the money I put into them to keep those games working and growing; and therefor more deserving of my money. I have put a lot of time into this game so far, and would be excited to be able to return if my concerns are properly addressed at some point in the future. Until then I have to cancel my subscription and move on to something better. In Memory Of.
  10. Expecting an algorithm to cater to the wants of opinion-based consumers is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of. Numbers are GREAT for finding out where the trends go, that doesn't mean everybody wants more trends and less everything else. Example: Unstable Arbiter's Lightsabers are super trendy right now, people love them! The metrics show that they have a higher value than most items in-game and the key words "Unstable" and "Arbiter's" are being used very frequently. From that info they decide to release more Unstable Lightsabers because it's what the Metrics show everybody wants. From there we go back to the mess with the Walker mounts that now flood the market so much nobody bats an eye at them, devaluing the current line of packs. Now people are asking them to stop releasing the same thing over and over and design new items that are different than the what we have gotten recently. BioWare Story is great, don't get me wrong. SWTOR's other content is great too, and should be updated at the same rate as everything else SWTOR offers, including the Story. I don't mind paying $15 a month for a Netflix subscription to get 1000s of shows; but I'm not going to continue paying if they decide I only get to watch new episodes of their 1 most popular show and nothing else.
  11. How can the community manager be so bad at wording the few posts he makes? Let's invest some of the time you spend sitting next to people on live-streams to take an English course, so you can learn better ways to communicate through text. Considering there is a growing list of known bugs that we aren't ever told the priority you assign to fixing them, it makes a huge difference when you provide your perception of how important it is to your team to fix a specific bug. Leaving us to make assumptions as to where the new bug will be prioritized promotes more confusion and trouble than it would be worth dealing with, than if a better conveyed statement accompanied your post. Using the preposition "by" instead of "with" to convey the span of completion would have prevented this whole debacle from starting. "With" implies it is being released alongside 4.3; "By" implies it is being released at any time between the time of your post and 4.3. This is also the straw that broke the camel's back, as a lot of our veteran players are actively looking into other MMOs to find something better to play. The disconnect from the developers to the players has always needed improvement, and through haphazard posts, like this, it's not getting any better. Furthermore coming directly after the much debated 4.1 crafting changes: Why were they implemented? Did they improved the game at all? and Why the time spent adding them wasn't used for more important updates (like new FPs, OPs, PvP, Dailies, etc.)? Really puts a nail in the coffin. The biggest thing I can't comprehend is why I spend $15 a month on a subscription to an MMO that clearly doesn't keep MMO aspects it's main priority? I can go play ANY of the hundreds of single-player games released this year and TALK about it with my friends, but only a few games will actually let me PLAY the game alongside them, which is something SWTOR used to offer, but these days doesn't seem to care about. So unless we get a timeframe of when new OPs are coming, you can assume I'll be playing other games that already have them, and are still working on new ones.
  12. I'm really considering leaving and playing WoW, just because they've been around so long and know how to address issues and communicate to their community better. It's stuff like this that made me play Skyforge for a few months while waiting for them to put something out worth playing again. I raid 90% of my game time, and having to deal with stuff like this just isn't fun anymore, I thought I could make it til season 2 to see if there was anything actually coming, but the bugs and lack of fixing them in a timely manner really do add up and make even the story not worth paying for. I'm not paying $15 a month to play Chapter X for 2 hours, I'm paying to raid for 80+ hours a month. My sub is set to renew on March 11th, and if I don't see this fixed in a patch before then I'm not going to let it. I'll subscribe to a game that actually cares that it's an MMO and caters to that demographic first. Here's to hoping to see an update in the next 3 weeks. Would hate to have to leave this game behind after trying to invest in it's future for 4+ years. -ScicleX
  13. Something you should probably think about and may have overlooked: This bug affects all enemies in instanced phases, and with the release of 4.2 will come new phased content in the form of Eternal Championships, so your story-content and main updates will be directly affected by this bug. If you don't prioritize to at least get this fixed with 4.2 you will literally shoot yourself in the foot. It's bad enough you don't give enough effort toward the MMO community of SWTOR, but you're even neglecting your main subscribers that are heavily invested in KotFE and anticipating the Eternal Championships. You said yourself the new content will be fairly difficult, so not addressing this bug will make it impossible for most solo players that haven't learned their class yet because they started at 60 without the trials of leveling and learning under their belt. The only way newer players have the patience to learn their class and clear tougher content is by asking for help from the veteran players of the game, which by actions like your most recent dev post, are being forced to unsub and remove themselves from the community, causing more and more players to go without guidance and creating a bigger difficulty curve for all content in the game. As your metrics and gaming studies can confirm, most players will stop playing a game they find too difficult to complete, and not pay for any future releases for that franchise if they don't feel it's going to be fun for them to constantly fail at it. Plain and simple: If you want more money from us, fix this sooner.
  14. Can you please define to use exactly what a game-breaking bug is? Because I'm pretty sure this qualifies considering just how much of the population runs Operations on a daily basis, in all difficulties, and most have added difficulty to them that prevents groups from completing them because of this one bug. Relics being BoP when crafted would be directly tied to the tier of players looking to advance their gear for the Flash Points and Operations level of content, not just story content that their companions and low level gear are able to breeze through. So without the Bosses that drop the materials to craft the Relics, what is the point of being able make and equip them to stone-wall against broken content? Please prioritize this fix ASAP, you've already alienated raiders by announcing no new OPs for an entire year, please don't push them further away but not fixing a game-breaking bug that affects the little bit of content they have available until then.
  15. I accidentally bought 9999 Zoosha Solution off the vendor for 800 credits each and drained my funds way lower than I thought it would. So I'm trying to recoup some funds by taking a small loss and selling for 50 credits cheaper than the 800 they cost from the vendor. I already upgraded them all to Cranoran Thread (Grade 9, costs 2200 from the vendor) and want to sell up to 6000 of them for 750 credits each. Please contact me here or on Sciclex (Republic) to set up a sale. Stock: 0
  16. Not sure whether updating my Graphics Card drivers or launching my account on my old computer was the thing that solved this, but it works now.
  17. I've already tried a few things from searching the web, and tried looking at the new EA customer service site which baffled me as to how someone would be able to post their specific error logs to customer support. I have repaired the launcher, deleted the BitRaider client and repaired the launcher, deleted my client_settings.ini file, did a clean boot, and am in the process of downloading a new driver for my graphics card.
  18. JIC it gets missed in the clutter, here's my mock up of the new guild windows: http://imgur.com/a/yWU9f
  19. With the change to all mastery in 4.0 I feel it would be an important follow-up to condense the Gray Helix Deflector Shield and Gray Helix Defense Shield into 1 item to avoid more confusion and Item refunds. Right now the Gray Helix Deflector Shield gives Tech Power, while the Gray Helix Defense Shield gives Force Power. Given that the Vanguard/Powertech Tanks don't gain or lose anything from Force Power, and Guardian/Juggernaut/Shadow/Assassin Tanks don't gain or lose anything from Tech Power, it would make sense to convert both Items into a Gray Helix Shield that awards Force Power AND Tech Power. This would make it much easier for newer players who accidentally pick the wrong Shield during the Gree Event and are later educated on their mistake by another player, which forces them to submit tickets asking for item refunds. Of course this would be the most common end-game application for this kind of change. It could be extended to affect all Shields in the game, so that no matter which one drops for a group or player, any Tank class could benefit from the Force or Tech Power stat boost it gave them.
  20. Whisper or mail me in game on Sciclex (Republic) with your price, willing to pay handsomely for one.
  21. The easiest way to random out a piece after it's already claimed is to "/roll 1-2" which will give you the group #, then "/roll 1-4" which will give you the player number. Example below, (Group Number-Player Number) 1-1 | 2-1 1-2 | 2-2 1-3 | 2-3 1-4 | 2-4
  22. What's in place to stop big guilds from rotating their alts in and out of the guild for the repeatable objectives just to help their guild win by sacrificing their own top 10 rewards? The answer is there isn't, because as a long standing #1 Conquest guild we have done it plenty just to ensure our victories. Conquest is about how much you're willing to do just to win, not complaining about the top guilds because your small knit group isn't willing to put in as much effort. We started as a middle of the pack Guild, learned from the other Guilds that were beating us, recruited specifically for Conquest, and built strategies to help us win more planets. This has boosted our member count so much that we now have more close-knit friends to play with more often, even now that we're more relaxed on competing, so that all the people that have achieved their Conqueror of the Galaxy achievements can now relax together and play the rest of the game, while still chipping in to help out the newer members trying to score their own achievements. The OP's point is about making Guild Management easier, which is mainly for the larger guilds. If you have seen the size and history of them (ours is at over 9000 registered accounts, and been around for over 10 years), you would acknowledge that the potential for them to bring more players into the game would easily merit the improvements asked for here. This is a very frustrating and confusing thing to deal with as is, and we have inadvertently upset a lot of people that play this game by having to purge members and divide them to different guilds because of the 500 character cap, which usually leads to them finding this game less fun and eventually leaving it altogether, which I'm sure is not something the team at BioWare has intended to happen. Please give this some consideration and at least let us know if something is in the works, and when in your design cycle to expect it (PLEASE NOT a specific date, we don't need that, just a simple "This falls after our priority to finish KotFE, release X new group content, and fix X existing bugs. So we cannot give you an exact time frame, but we can give you a better time frame update after all those have been completed.") /signed
  23. Without going into it too much, the Gree is the only way to get OHs that aren't seen, like Focus/Generator/Shield/Shotgun/Viboknife. There are many other ways to get MHs and most Single Sabers and Blaster Pistols also allow you to use them as OHs, http://tor-fashion.com/legacy-weapons/
  24. Let's take a Community-wide vote on this change, to see what the people playing the game actually think about this decision. http://strawpoll.me/6544099 Please share this link with anybody who plays SWTOR so we can have as large of a demographic to poll from.
