Aha! THAT'S where I've seen those ears before!

Hi there, There's a lot of threads being closed on the TOR boards recently. Many because they're QQing, or offensive or completely out there, but just occassionaly we get a thread with a solid debate going when suddenly it's closed for being "off-topic". I'd like us to have somewhere for these threads below, so Bioware please consider bringing the off-topic forums back. I know there's a lot of useless stuff on these forums, but there's also a lot of good debate and discussion which gets shut down, dare I say overzealously. Please give us a forum to put this stuff in and encourage healthy discussion. ...Fanks

Yes it does. I've played Consular (in beta, only till around lvl 26) and the story gets much better. BH has a great story too (beta until around lvl 30), and so does SI - my current main. The first two planets really are the prologue, and quite slow, from there the story begins to pick up pace.

I like this idea, and I think if our toons are meant to be central to the story developing around us then having diplomatic missions like this only makes sense...

Good point, Nar Shaddar is kind of our Coruscant. Shame our Imperial Capital is basically a jungle. They really should develop it a little more...

We invaded it (we being the Empire) and it's the republic Capital, surely with this "treaty" we should be able to visit, as ambassadors of the Empire if nothing else?

If I remember Beta correctly, the ship droid for Jedi Consular sounded exactly like Garrick from Star Trek DS9...

I completely agree. It would need a lot of dedication from a select number of players, but it would add a whole new, dynamic layer to the game, making it feel a little more "real". Player villains would be fantastic, and could be implemented over a long period of time, providing a unique story arc for each server (every player is different). Love the idea, think it would be a headache to implement in such a linear mmo.

You could let him roll an alt round your house, at least that way he gets to give it a go and do a proper test.

I don't think there is. They may introduce one further down the line, but that's just my speculation.

For me it has to be Tatooine. It didn't truly feel like Star Wars to me till I was on the dunes hacking down Sand People

I've seen them on Jedi side, they have the model. I don't know why they don't use it Sith side? It looks brilliant.

I remember while playing a Jedi Consular in Beta that there were two awesome looking robes. not the skirts that most of us have to wear, but proper robes. Open, flowing and hooded. I think they both came from Coruscant, one was blue-grey and the other was brown. Anyway to my point, I assumed, playing an Inquisitor (the mirror class of Jedi Consular) that there would be some awesome black/red/whatever Sith equivalent to these robes. Sadly I've not found any as of yet. Please Bioware, consider re-colouring the model and putting some out there for Sith side. I don't mind wearing a skirt if I have to, but an actual robe to go over the top of it would really look the part! Edit: Not sure where I got Guardian from, I was in fact referring to the Jedi Consular I played!
