Okay white knights; I am subbed to Star Trek Online and regardless of sign in status I receive ALL goodies. Bioware needs to change their metrics centered policies unless they value that more than money. I have been mercy subbing for the last couple of years supporting this game when I rarely log in anymore, that's how I missed the memo. Maybe they could add a "Mercy Subscription" for those that have supported them from the beginning. For those not white knighting, I appreciate your input. My latest toon I've been just using whatever I get for drops, just appreciating the stories. I have all the stuff I've unlocked on a high level toon. I never pvp.

Well that is very sad. I expected subscription money to be more important than user metrics, my mistake. I'm considering becoming a free subscriber when my current sub expires as my support appears to be unnecessary. Thank You all for the replies.

So I've been subscribed to this game from the beginning, yet no M4-Y7 Astromech Droid? I work Law Enforcement, so my play time is sporadic, but I always update my launcher for when I can play and keep my subscription paid up. I didn't log in by the 7th because the 8th was my wife's birthday. How about retconning me this droid? I'd really appreciate it.

Reposted here to help others having this issue: OK I fixed it: I had to uninstall SWTOR, hunt down every embedded file throughout the entire PC and format that hard drive to rid me of several undeletable SWTOR files. Then I downloaded fresh and got my game back, took awhile, but worth it. And now I only have the necessary files for the game and not all that older stuff cluttering up my PC. Oh! the game launched initially as a little square in the upper left corner of my screen as well as tanking my resolution. Simple ALT + ENTER to bring the window up and enlarge from there. Then set prefferences in the game after it launches.

I have Windows 8.1 and have the certification issue. when I try to run the launcher it gives me a "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." Same thing when I try to run the FixLauncher. This happened immediately after the Launcher patched. Roll back the launcher.

How about just rolling back the launcher like last time? I have Windows 8.1 and no problems until this last update. Are you guys planning on crediting the accounts of everyone effected? That will probably up the importance of this bug.

The companion description states that they do not benefit from equipment bonuses. Does this mean that the weapons they come with say a green level 112 do the same damage of anything higher you can equip them with, say a purple 220? It's a waste of time to equip companions with superior weapons?

I spoke too soon. There doesn't appear to be a planet Vandin anywhere? When I try to advance the mission after talking to Gault it drops me on the Imperial Fleet?

I've been through some scraps, but this latest mission is way too hard with the arena. If they don't drop the difficulty on this I can see a lot of people quitting. I know I'm done until they fix it. Sad they decided to pick this one day to break the game. I'm sorry I thought this was the new mission instead of just some overly hard stuff. I can continue with the missions then and ignore this arena thing until they fix it.

At least I get to sit through 5 to 10 minutes of "Reorganizing data" and a few "One time (all the time) password" requests and being redirected all over the place to post this for this little gem.

Now that we have access to cross faction companions, How can I, a Sith Warrior get Customizations for T7-01?

Oh Well, maybe it will be fixed and all the planets downloaded by the time Early Access is over. Then we will just have to deal with the server overload. So I'm guessing this game will be playable about the time the new Star Wars movie comes out in December, that will remind me to check back then.

It won't let me create a new level 60 , the option is greyed out? I've been a subscriber since Beta. I just had a thought: Is this Free level 60 a token, sent in the mail, that you can't access until your current Toon's planet has loaded?
