  1. Then you probably already "have it." Just continue on and get the other pieces.
  2. I mean... selling things through trade is not an exploit. Buying credits from credit sellers is and that's a problem. The only real way to combat the credit-seller problem is with manpower. Unfortunately, the solution has a cost involved and the video game companies don't believe the benefit outweighs the cost. It's that simple. Meanwhile, idiots will continue to give criminals their credit card numbers because they are lazy.
  3. and you would only lose around 200 million, not the entire 1 Billion.
  4. try going back to DK and finding the piece again. If it won't let you, then you can send the locator to another character and use that character to find the part. The part should bind to legacy so you can send it to the toon that needs it.
  5. So .......... Everybody that has an arsenal merc gets a discount then?
  6. They get Apprentice, Lord, and Darth.
  7. People that are going to play both games will play both games. The scheduling of two game content releases on the same day isn't going to sway a player that has little or no interest in one of the two games. The best thing SWTOR can do is put updates out as soon as they are ready for release. Holding them for longer because some other competitor has something scheduled for release on the same day is bad business. They might as well just tell everybody to go try out their competitor's new game (... "We've decided to delay 7.1 so everybody can go try out Shadowlands Season 4 for a few weeks. Enjoy the other game, let us know when you'll be back and we'll release 7.1 at that time..." ) Ford isn't going to delay the release of their newest Mustang just because Dodge scheduled to release it's latest Charger on the same day. That would be idiotic.
  8. There are two ways you can read that quote. I feel like they were trying to explain that despite having other games that they are working on, they are still committed to continually developing this one. Obviously they wouldn't have said it if they meant for us to read it the other way. But far be it from us to pass up an opportunity to twist words to create an outrage.
  9. No warning? Every single credit you get via loot, mission reward, sale, etc... gives you a warning that you are approaching the credit cap, once you get near 3.5B. To avoid doing that mistake again, transfer credits to your legacy bank and keep your character(s) well below the cap.
  10. This game should not schedule anything around other games. They should only concentrate on SWTOR and when something is ready to be released, it should be released.
  11. Sometimes it takes a minute or two for the points to show up.
  12. A couple things: We already explained how to check using another server to see how many character slots you really have since the merger a few years ago put some people over their limit. There's a post from Jackie with a link explaining how the merger effected character slots. In that same post, Jackie is offering to help you via PM (check your messages). Finally, when you send in a ticket to CS, they usually close the ticket when they respond, unless they have a follow up question for you. Instead of creating duplicate tickets that end up going to some other CS representative, reply back to that CS through the email you received from the first one.
  13. Criticism has it's place. This thread is not the place to say things that some have said. Also in this thread was the scheduled release date for 7.1, which is information people have been asking for. We didn't specifically ask what changes were happening with the dev team, but the information is relevant to those that like to know or that care. It's tasteless when people feel the need to take parting shots at someone in this topic. That isn't criticism, it's just being a jerk.
  14. That depends on what you mean. People have been complaining because a lack of communication from the devs as of late. Then when there is a post from them, the same people get angry. If someone thinks they aren't communicating enough, they should be happy when there is some communication. If someone thinks there isn't enough new content, they should be happy when new content comes out. If someone thinks there are too many bugs, they should be happy when some bugs get fixed. But it's obvious that some people just want to be angry and that's what makes them happy. People are mad because Jackie had to state that some posts in this thread were not appropriate. In general, adults should understand tactfulness. If their posts were removed, there should be no surprise to them.
  15. Player base: "We need more communication from the devs." Devs: We're just letting you know about these personnel changes, the release date of 7.1, and that we're still working on the game ..." Player base: https://y.yarn.co/4082b856-0334-494c-8b51-b6d3d3313843.mp4
  16. Agreed. It would be helpful, though, for CS to explain this to the customer after the "research." They can see the actual number of character slots an account has. So what the OP can do to confirm how many slots he or she has is to log into a server he or she has no characters on and see how many character slots are available there. Then it's possible to figure out how many characters he or she currently has over the limit on the main server.
  17. After leaving the FP, click on your character portrait and choose reset all active phases.
  18. It's not that important. If a game such as this truly went to a pay to win format, they would lose customers and long term profit potential. In other words, if pay to win was a successful model, they would have done that long ago. What you're complaining about is a redesigned subscriber reward system. The old system required you to be subbed on or by a certain date or for a certain duration of time. The new system gives players flexibility and a platform to get the rewards at a later date. It also gives subscribers the choice of getting the rewards through game play, through game currency (credits) or through premium currency (CCs). So it provides a means to support the game financially, keep players participating in various content, and provides a much needed credit sink. It also rewards subscribers that choose the "play" path a chance to get extra premium currency in their account. The more servers you play on, the more you can acquire. I chose to play on two servers in GS1 and GS2. So I have accumulated 16000 CCs from Galactic Seasons so far. It's $100 to buy 14500 CCs. So I have saved money. There are some diehards out there that did all 5 servers and have 40000 additional CCs after 2 seasons.
  19. You still have to do "To Find a Findsman" first.
  20. If it wasn't for capitalism, there wouldn't be games. As much as you seem to hate the evil, greedy game industry, you keep on subscribing to this game. If people like you subscribe, the model clearly works.
  21. A subscriber reward system is not PvE gameplay and none of the rewards enhance a player's performance in PvE content.
  22. If you believe that is the sole purpose of the "flag," then why should they disable it? Taunts have always been a part of PvP games. Even the PvE content is full of bosses taunting players during fights.
  23. It's a subscriber reward system. It's completely different than a gearing path. Can you link one reputable site that defines "pay to win" as something other than "being able to pay for upgrades that give the player an advantage against other players."
  24. In PvP, you'll still be grouped with people on your ignore list. You might as well just close the chat window instead of filling up your ignore list. There are definitely drama queens in PvP, but I just laugh when somebody rage-whispers me after a match. It doesn't happen that often, but it has happened. I don't really care what they think. I doubt they care that I think people that whine in chat non-stop during a WZ are useless.
