  1. Thanks. Only wanted to know cause I am planning on going back and playing KOTOR 1 and 2 but having the two characters play like the canon.
  2. I was wondering if anyone knew what sort of lightsaber style Revan and the Jedi Exile used. I mainly just want to know if they used a single blade, dual blade, or dual wielded lightsabers.
  3. Bioware Forums Moderators, can you please ban these obvious Blizzard employees from the forums? Every single post they write is basically them trying to do nothing but say that WoW is 100% better than this game or any other game on the market.
  4. I have never heard anyone at Bioware or EA make this statement you are claiming. Please show me from Bioware's website, or a side website such as this, where they said that and I will believe it. Until then, I will know that they are happy with a million subscribers. I am also like 99% sure that Bioware does not care to beat WoW's numbers because 60% of WoW's subs were chinese gold farmers. No, they are all still exsisting and being played because the players like those games. None of them have a LFG tool yet are still being played. This shows that a LFG tool is not needed in the slightest for this game to continue to be successful.
  5. I do agree that you need to be able to see more of the comment. Like when you click on them, a smaller window pops up on the side with the complete comment. But again, if this LFG can 100% be seen server wide, then it is a simple matter of getting people to use it. If people do not know about it, they won't use it. If no one is using it, then it is useless. I am actually going to start flagging myself on every planet saying I will help out with Heroics I have already done on that planet.
  6. Then why is Everquest still being played? Why is Final Fantasy XI still being played with even more people than Final Fantasy XIV? Why is Star Wars Galaxies still being played in its original launch form in emulated servers?
  7. Wait, does the LFG stuff inside the /who window go server wide? I ask because I honestly do not know as I assumed it was planet wide. If it does in fact go full server, then that was actually the next thing I was going to say they should make since no one likes the idea of a server wide chat channel. Also if it is true, then people need to start using that more and then *BAM* no more group finding problems.
  8. And you can also tell Blizzard that they do not pay you guys enough to post here.
  9. Or you can go back to WoW. These posts that do nothing but tell Bioware to add something simply because WoW has it do not add to the argument either.
  10. Would not require a chat moderator. Having a good server community would mean the server would run the chat channel. If someone starts doing nothing but spamming in it, then people /ignore him/her and/or report that player. Along with the fact that lots of people will not even have it on at all seeing as I know for a fact that there are some people (not all, not most, just some) that are complaining about trying to find a group while ALWAYS having general chat turned off. Don't ask me how they expect to get a group that way, but they think they will.
  11. I lot can be learned about a person from a simple chat.
  12. Ummmm, no. But why should I group with people that just think their shat doesn't stink. Which is why I said in one of my posts that Bioware would have to implement and enforce rules for that chat system. Break the rules and be suspended or banned from the chat.
  13. Which is why I am dead set against a LFG tool that auto groups you. The short time it takes someone to say that they want an invite or that they are looking for people says a lot about that person. I have actually refused to invite someone because he asked for an invite and before I could even invite him, was inviting other people that asked first, he starts questioning whether I will invite him or not. Just the way it was written was basically like his attitude was that he was all that and a bag of chips and that everyone else is not worth his time. No thanks, I do not need to play with nor aid people with that high and mighty attitude.
  14. EVE Online is actually a very well done MMO. The developers allow anything that is in the relm of real world. But the MMO is also designed around this aspect. There are full guilds built around the simple concept of doing nothing but piracy. There are also full guilds that do nothing but counter pirates. They also have their bounty system so you can pay someone to go kill someone you have a personal vendetta against. Although I do love all the things EVE does, there is no way it would work for a game like TOR or WoW.
  15. While you were playing the game, what happened or what was going on the first time you just went "WOW!" at this game and fell in love with the galaxy that has been created? For me, I guess it would have been my first time stepping out of the hanger on Tatooine. Had some few "Oh, that's cool." moments throughout the game before this. As soon as I was off my ship and inside the hanger I was even thinking, "Well, I have seen this style hanger before. Taris?" But as soon as I stepped outside the hanger and saw the open deserts of Tatooine and the dust just sort of flying through the air, I was in awe. It may have hit me even more because I am from a desert area of Arizona and it just felt like home.
  16. Yes, I was there when Blizzard implemented this and it was garbage. I was also there when Blizzard implemented their current LFG Tool and it made the game/community even worse. If Bioware was intelligent, which they are, they would come up with rules for this galaxy wide chat system (basically making it only for finding people to form a group with). People who brake these rules can be reported and if deemed to have violated a rule of that chat, can be suspended or banned from that chat channel.
  17. I actually got that the second I stepped out of the hanger on Tatooine. The starter worlds are all, mostly, city planets. There really is no expansivness to a city planet. You have city, city, and more city. I am not saying these planets are bad, seeing as I LOVED them, just saying there really is no room. The second I got to Tatooine, all bets were off as I literally felt like I was on a planet made entirely out of desert orbiting two suns.
  18. Guess what, I am one of these casual players you are talking about. I have been playing the crap out of SWTOR during this holiday season. Monday I go back to college and will not be playing this game as much, but will still love it for what it is. I was also in the military before Blizzard started catering to these "casual" players so much and, even though I had no time, I loved the hell out of WoW. I was just getting out of the military when Blizzard started turning WoW into what it is now, and only hated it. I now had even more time to play the game that I was once loving, and hated it because there was no reason to play it anymore. Blizzard had turned WoW from an MMO into a single player type experience where you can just "beat" (hit 80) the game in a week if not less. Yes, there are raids, but when they take no skill and no thought process to complete, what is the point?
  19. But not everyone on the forums is bashing the hell out of Bioware and TOR and telling people that they should go play WoW because this games sucks. You both are doing just that. Doing nothing but complaining about this game, saying everyone who likes it is wrong, and that WoW is a much better game.
  20. World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King World of Warcraft: Cataclysm World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria See, I can do that to.
  21. This can also be said for Bioware. What is your point?
  22. Now you are sounding just like that other troll. BTW, how much is Blizzard paying all of you to come onto the forums and just tell everything this game is garbage and that WoW is better? All of us (my friends) who either came to this game on launch or were informed about it and joined it and are loving it either came straight from WoW, played WoW and hated it, or never wanted to play WoW.
  23. I think you have now become my new best friend. I also came to TOR to play TOR. If I wanted to stay on WoW, I would have stayed on WoW. This game is amazing and everything that Bioware said it would be.
  24. Well, me and all my friends all recommended it to our other friends and guess what, every single one of us is enjoying the hell out of the game. This does not at all make any of us bad friends. Also, you can't even try and claim that the game is bad when you just admitted to not even being involved in the aspect that Bioware themselves have been claiming since 2008 to be their main focus for the game.
  25. True statement is true. Or he could just be some random guy that wanted to flame Bioware and EA and SW: TOR.
