  1. I generally spacebar or move my character a bit quickly to break cast times. Then again, I haven't really been playing with the new "cast while moving" utilities.. so I can see how this is a problem.
  2. Honestly, it's pretty dumb how rare this basic/standard crystal is.
  3. I can justify it easily. Powertechs need a nerf to utility and burst in PvP. Changing shoulder cannon to 1.5 ICD addresses some of the burst issues, while keeping sustained the same. That wasn't very hard to justify, tbh.
  4. I elaborated on my last post. The truth is that Powertech's are not as glass cannon as people would like them to be perceived as. The only "glass cannon" component of class is the fact that it largely has no answer to dots. However, if the Hatred Sin is nerfed as it should be.. Powertechs will be left with nobody to answer to.
  5. Now, altogether, I consider this is a pretty dumb question. Normally I wouldn't even reply, but, this thread's length has warranted a reply. Overall, I feel people who complain about premades just lack perspective. Often times the opinion of what a premade even is, is disputed. Even after finding a common definition, players still have misconceptions and think just because a fight is lob-sided it must be a premade. My brother and I no longer live in the same state. We use online gaming as a way to stay connected. Honestly, I rarely even log in unless he is on. We usually just text each other so we know when to log in. We mix it up between some Group Ranked, when we can find two competent dps AND another team is able to queue, and Unranked. As players we are somewhat isolationist and generally keep to our own small group. Primarily as a means to avoid future drama. So we usually only queue with just us two but every now and then pickup a third. Regardless, we get the "premade" smack talk. I mean.. this is an online game? You should try playing more with your friends. If you don't have friends that play right now then try to make some. I assure you, that social aspect will greatly improve your enjoyment of this, and other future games you play.
  6. I am also a fan of bringing back companions. I'm growing tired of my pet.
  7. This really is the topic that never dies. I mean, at this point it's blatantly obvious that all companions haven't had any depth added since the initial launch. To be completely honest, companions really have just become pets. Regardless of how much Bioware initially didn't want them to be. Both expansions had some same gender romance. That was Bioware's way of throwing a bone. I'd be extremely pleased if Bioware put focus back on your companions/crew but that is just so unlikely now. Hoping for anything more than what you have is really grasping for straws.
  8. I have often said that Harbinger is a great place for REGS. It is not ideal for Ranked at all.
  9. This is why the leaderboards are a joke. No reason, whatsoever, for them to be cross server.
  10. Marauders also have extremely weak group utility now. They lost the damage buff and the tanks now all have the healing debuff. It really only left them with Predation. (Unfortunately Marauder damage is so dependent on Berserk that they can't really fully utilize it)
  11. I have not seen any indication that the Hatred Sin or AP Powertech domination is going to cease.
  12. Agreed. If you are thinking long term then it might be best to start getting use to Madness now. Unless you want to enjoy Lightning while you can.
  13. They are, and rightfully so. Specifically the fix to Conduction is going to be a MAJOR hit to them in PvP. As it stands right now though, Lightning Sorcs have been able to get away with murder using this exploit. As a Corruption Sorc, I gladly welcome the bug fix. I'm not saying Lightning Sorcs are overpowered, because they aren't, but that bug needed fixed. I might take this time to add that I am disappointed with the lack of other class changes on the PTS.
  14. Sniper/Slinger has never been fotm, any spec. Dps Merc has also never been fotm, not even 1.0. Vengeance Jugg has never been fotm. (At least not in a true sense) Lethality Operative has never been fotm. That's pretty much it. Not to say some of these classes listed above haven't ever been good. Sniper specifically has had the Tier 1.5 curse on and off since release.
  15. I don't believe this is at all true. If I remember correctly some color were limited to the specific factions. (Which was the reason it was perceived as less common) For example, my Sith Twi'lek is Light Blue which was originally limited to Republic only.
  16. Pretty sure they transferred alts over.
  17. Let me guess.. you're in the guild Warbush?

Please explain why in the hell Operatives with double roll and Powertechs with hydraulics can't run a ball?
  19. The good news is that Marauders are significantly more likely to get buffed than nerfed. So if you enjoy them, as they are now, they you surely will enjoy them in the future.
  20. I suppose the former forgives the latter.
  21. To specify, I was talking about those were the top teams on Harbinger in season 3. (and then I was pointing out which servers they came from)
  22. Uh huh. Just a quick glance on the Group Ranked Harbinger leaderboard shows less than half a dozen players with 10+ wins.
  23. Generally we only have 1-2 teams, maybe 3, queuing at any one time during prime hours. Queues start at around 9-10pm EST and can go until 2-3am EST. Generally the queues are the most active around 10pm-12am EST. It's usually best to advertise you are in queue in pm/pvp chat on fleet. Teams queue on this server both factions so be sure to check with either.
  24. I've noticed that some voice actors are good BUT require you play a certain role to fully enjoy them. For example, 1) Female Sith Inquisitor is excellent when you go Darkside. The voice is already so maniacal that it just fits it perfectly and feels devilishly evil. 2) Male Bounty Hunter does excellent if you play as a "tough ******." The voice is so deep and fits the concept perfectly. 3) Male Jedi Consular is great as a lightside "sage." Generally it's best as an older looking character that is more wise. (Think Obi'Wan from episodes 4-6) The problem is that all three of those examples above work TERRIBLY imo if they don't conform to those roles. Then you have some other good voice actors that can have a bit more diversity in the character's "rp." Male Jedi Knight, Both Imperial Agents and Male Sith Warrior come to mind.
