  1. Nothing wrong with a bit of sport in a time of war. Pretty sure the hutts are neutral and could care less about either side, and when it's a death match your team > factions. BW won't do it, but would be an interesting idea. The only complication would be that a decision would need to be made about how you can communicate in the ops... (yes, allow cross faction communication during a huttball match, or no don't allow any communication at all).
  2. I suggest the following 2 medals... Heal 5 unique players Heal 10 unique players Done, and done. Sure, they aren't very skill based, but then which medals really are? Also, I wouldn't mind seeing the Trauma medal lowered to 4k healing instead of 5k. 5k just seems outright too difficult with that 30% healing debuff. Considering I'm already in almost a full set of champion gear, seems like it will take a solid set of BM gear + blowing a trinket to hit reliably.
  3. What he isn't saying, is that his girlfriend and job and both inside of SW:TOR! Edit: It's nothing personal, but people who post anything about their RL on a gaming forum are just asking for it.
  4. It's not perfect, but it should keep me entertained until Diablo 3 finally gets released!
  5. Everyone's class but my own is overpowered, NERRRRRRRRRFF.
  6. Actually, the original AC servers are up and have always been up. AC 2 is the sequel that died and was shut down but the original game has been running for over 12 years now. If there was a larger playerbase and a modern update to the graphics I'd still be playing it for sure myself.
  7. QFT. I've been waiting a long time for the clone of this game, just hasn't seemed to surface. On top of the amazing PvP aspect, the looting system was hands down better than anything I have seen in ANY game, past or present.
  8. Now you know why you'll never see a dev response here. They don't read these forums, it is pointless for them (and everyone else too really). With any game, it just turns into a place to vent frustration.
  9. Not to mention, there are no more possible recipes to learn after that. De-engineering a mastercraft item is literally just throwing your credits away.
  10. The value on these is in the augment. Being a primary stat, that one in particular should have some demand and sell closer to 30-50k. Willpower and Strength are probably the 2 most valuable and can sell even higher. I love guys like you that sell them on the GTN at the suggested price of 1.5k. I buy them, and turn them around usually within a day for the substantial profit you should have gotten yourself. It's not the professions fault that either you don't understand the market (and/or the market on your server is currently screwed up). We are now finally hitting the point where people are crafting (and critting) a solid amount of level 50 gear, so the demand is currently on the rise for augments.
  11. The only crafting skill worthwhile on a main is bio engineering. I'd recommend getting that, and 2 gathering skills. You can easily get another level 10 alt up for each crafting skill you may want to do later.
  12. I think a lot of people would be happy getting 3/21... There are (or were) chests that randomly spawn in the open world PvP zones (tattoine, ilum, etc.). They drop 10 merc commendations. I do agree however, that it would make sence to get some soft of merc commendations based on kills and such as well. The centurian gear is fine, expertise is valuable enough to lose a bit of stats if your PvE gear is better. This is especially true when you use them to complete a set bonus and such. My recommendation (at least at first) would wait until you get an odd number of set pieces, then use the commendations to complete your 2 or 4 piece set bonuses (then use them on whatever random piece you like that provides more expertise)
  13. lol @ expecting a bonus bag, that's a good one.
  14. Although it isn't faceroll like say using guardian, it is still possible to get a very competitive amount of badges as a healer... while still staying on the objective and pumping out a considerable amount of heals. For instance, last night in a huttball I actually hit 9 medals (and was something like 3k heals short of 300k for a 10th). Here were the badges that I hit while also maintaining the highest objective score. 2.5k heal 75k healing 75k damage 1 killing blow 1 solo kill 10 kills 25 kills 1k defender points 2.5k damage single blow Aside from the 2.5k single blow damage one (which I seriously have no clue how I managed to get... only time that's happened), all of the others are fairly common. Although 9+ is potential, I'd say that 6-7 badges is the range I get MOST of the time which is still reasonable. The trick is to throw dots on anything that gets near you, and help finish off low HP targets when you see them. That assures that you get credit for kills around you and obtain the kill badges while still focusing 95% of your attention to heals.
  15. I don't remember the exact details, but I built a new computer about 5-6 months ago with the best high end components within a reasonable price range I could find, spent about $1500 total. All I can remember off the top of my head is that it has a 6 core processor, solid state HD, 12gb RAM, and around a $300 graphics card. I actually break 100+ FPS in a lot of areas on full high settings, even fleet. If you are capable (and/or know somebody to help), I'd highly recommend building your own compared to purchasing a pre-made system. More bang for you buck.
  16. That doesn't even make any sense. The male characters in the game are the ones that wear dresses lol.
  17. Empire still dominates on our server, however thats not to say that the Republic hasn't had their moments either. They have no choice but to form a large op then steamroll the place every so often until beaten back and then they disperse. Rinse and repeat a few times a day.
  18. Don't worry, tracer missle won't hurt as much once you hit 50!
  19. My server might be one of the only few "doing it right" I guess. It doesn't happen constantly but there have been some good 20v20 battles going on. It's laggy, yet fun. If one side gets overpowered they retreat back to their base where they can use the cannon to turn the tide in their favor. Both sides get some kills and its win win for everyone. There are also other times when the Empire will just seriously outnumber the Republic, in which case they just disperse and come back later. Yesterday I was able to put a pretty good dent on my weekly (80/150) without even having to pick up one of those stupid armaments.
  20. I took the 1 credit and now my ingame credit card is maxed! Nooooooooo!
  21. QFT. It sucks running a 1 hour mission, just to get a green augment that nobody will buy in a million years. The epic ones can have some solid value, the blue ones have more worth than vendor fodder, but the green ones are trash at level 6... nobody in their right minds would use them.
  22. If you are unwilling to roll an alt then yes. The rare compounds you need for armstech come from Investigation from what I understand. Underworld trading supports some other crafting professions like cybertech, armortech, and synthweaving. Be aware though, that my personal opinion is that Investigation is the lame duck out of the the crafting mission bunch. It'll get you what you need, and thats about it. The others at least have some other profitability options attached.
  23. It's fine the way it is. Missions being permanent would create a high value initially just to obtain then... but then demand will continually decrease while production remains steady (in which case the missions become practically worthless). Keeping it a 1 time use assures a healthy supply/demand indefinitely.
  24. One of my alts is a female bounty hunter, and I kind of wanted to see her make a move on Mako.
