  1. His got a point, try ask Mythic what happened when they added their DLC pvp payment gear installment, and created a massive gab between players. The hardcore fanboys who loved flashing their top end gear was thrilled that they now, could bash players who just started even harder with the new gear, they would have within weeks time. I had already quit WAR, but couldn't help but read and check forums, month after that release WAR took a massive dump in subscribes. The people who were defending in favor this installment and gab before release, were now back whinning about how few was left for them to stomp because people left in droves. How many server they actually got left now a days?
  2. So in other words the Battlemaster should be cheaper than the champion which cost 123champion commendations? Thats 17bags champion bags being 200merc and 200warzone commendations, effectively making it 17 x (200/200) =3400/3400, now personally i think your getting a sweet deal, at least you'll be in good gear while aquiring Battlemaster, oppossed to being the ones farmed, on their way to champion.
  3. Don't mean to off-track this thread completely, but seeing as there a few here who seem to have some field exsperience playing a Sin tank. Im currently looking to make a Sin tank as the new choice for a alt to level, ive heard that using stalker aka dps gear better for pvp, and now i hear one should grab a generator to, but was wondering which of the champ relics you consider best using for pvp? Also do you go with the double bladed tanking saber for extra HP, or you pick dps one?
  4. Im assuming with this statement, you checked that it isn't just tied in with what seems to be the fact, that you can only get blademaster bags atm, through dailies/weeklies? Assuming by world pvp you mean Ilum ofcause.
  5. What baffles me most is why they keep pushing out pve content, while doing little to no new pvp content, from what i understand from their own statements that interests in pvp servers are bigger than pve ones, so would stand to reason there be many interested in pvp content
  6. Think he was trying to point out how trivial the content becomes, if you look at WAR despite some its flaws it has a wide range of possibilities. In TOR you have a Ilum which from what i hear still is just kill trading, 3warzones where content is being farmed or farming the opponent, or something that 60% time end more in death matches than actual objective completion. You can disclose this, or consider it entertainment but you'll have to realise to some its not.
  7. Or probaly consider the pvp in the game a lost cause, and either start pveing or leaving all together. This process effectively prolonging queue time, causing the stubborn to afk leech or land players who just queued into hopelessly lost warzone scenarios effectively disminishing their enjoyment aswell. I just think result will be a vicious circle that never end. Its all in all a band aid solution to avoid addressing the factors which cause people to leave.
  8. Was just pointing out that if it resembles what was in WoW or WAR, it will make no difference to the ones who will quit.
  9. Not really sure whats its gonna help anyways, if there any who wanna leave they will leave, now i haven't reached the point where i quit matches yet. But if i wanted id just go play another level 50 alt, while it wears off. If they even gonna consider this, then they should probaly consider making it a account wide deserter debuff, so you can't jump over to a alt to test for better luck.

See im not only one then who, was so eager after seeing the base area in beta, that i went a head and subbed for 3months ahead, i will give bioware however that it was a really good sales pitch. Also i will give them that they done quite a bit to fix some the states of the game, but i feel there areas they been avoiding or even acknowledge there a problem with, quite frankly my patience is running out.

Ive honestly felt like quitting warzones many times, but i stuck it out, what makes it possibly worse was being on my alt, i actually put some thoughts into preparing for lvl 50 warzones, by collecting a champion bag prior to lvl 50 and ontop collect the 1000merc and 1000 wzd for extra 5 bags, so in case bags had no champion pieces at least i could get a champion relic and 2centurien pieces. And lvl 50 is a living hell to play warzones in when you fresh of, without any high expertise, i went as far as to stuff my entire gear out with purple 22 (50)mods the ones only 1 point below centurien mods, that combined with centurien i still usually die from 2-3burst from the burst classes in champion. I don't get why we can't have match makings, so champion can fight people within their expertise ranges, its horrible to come to play warzone matches, and feel like your a heel to the team because you die to easy to have much of a shot to contribute in anyway.
  12. Will there be made any attempts to fix tanking gear for pvp, currently the trade off stats you get in migitations is so small compared to the damage you lose. Partly because the massive amount of scaling from stat stacking that create large amount of burst. Ive actually asked around a bit, and i yet to find any player that consider the pvp tanking set worth taking, this is including juggernauts which are specced into immortal, who still prefer picking dps set.

What makes it more ironic is that commando and mercs when composing to together more than one, can actually nullify ones armor close to completely, giving that stacks from grav rounds and tracer missile, be added by several at ones. effectively when stacked to 5 by 3 persons can debuff you for 60% your armor, add that into their stance giving them another 35% that almost armor -100%, but somehow this doesn't have any focus at all, people are far more worried about being snared by a sorcerer.
  15. And they have bigger burst power, and medium armor plus a half dozen CC to disable you while doing damage, meaning they can effectively dps opponent down, pop out of combat and go heal up. We don't have that luxury our only chance to get away from damage is using LoS or force speed which will easily be counter in most situations with a CC. Normally wouldn't confess to agreeing with you on that much, but on this point ill have to say i do.

You telling its harder for bounty hunters tracer missile>railshot/unload and commando to spam grav round>hail of rounds than it is for sorcerer to put out force lightning and wrath proc Crushing darkness or chain lightning, or for that matter for rage juggernauts to do a force jump, force crush, ravage and smash? Well at least half time you don't see them having to kite because they are squishy, like sorcerer are once bubble gone, in first global CD.

  19. And those utilities make up for ous being as squishy as we are compared to most other classes, plus our utilities are not that immensely more than a good deal of other classes. Damage is great if we pump it with a AOE, and for most parts damage from hybrid dps runs on wrath procs from challenging Force lighting, given how squishy we are its great damage when left alone fair enough, but when we being hit and depend on moving to avoid damage or using line of sight its, rarely epitome for a class designed around kiting, and using utilities to be able to some degree have a succesful chance of winning fights doing so.

I think OP meant to be sarcastic and simply make a thread opposite to the others, to make a parody on this trend for nerf whinning.

Which again healing spec, think most classes if specced and use their healing abilities wisely would pull out good heals, yes hybrid corruption/madness can heal some to, but without high points up into for force surge, which would effectively demand so many points we can't get Madness & wrath from madness talent tree, which effectively would render our damage attempts worthless. Doing corruption/madness hybrid we constantly dependant on getting out of combat to bump up our force, as it goes down so increble faster than we can replenish otherwise. Can i pull out heavy heal scores with my sorcerer in warzones sure, but the times i do i also get option of getting out of combat so i can use Seethe. EDIT: my apology we can ofcause ditch Revification and the 2 points into reserves, in order to get madness so we have no CD on force ligtning(if one considers it damage without wrath procs) while still having force surge, but i doubt you'll find that many in their right mind willing to do that.

And root is talent aquired skill Electric bindings through 12points talent purchase, which is very generious ontop on resolve bar, you don't have Unstoppable which renders you immune to all controlling effects for 4sec after force charging for 12points in vengeance, or stagger for 2points in rage which renders target immobilized for 1sec? after force charging. and you dont have backhand in juggernauts tree? Again if you use your utilities solely for damage building that is not our fault.

Really Warriors has exactly same amount of CC that sorcerer has, lets compare: Compared: Overlord>aoe knockback(dorcerer) Intimidating roar>aoe immobilizer about 4 sec(arguebly it has bigger CC than ours ill give that) Whirlwind>stun(sorcerer honestly can't remember its durations as most sorcerer won't use it but 10% the time due to, being broken on damage, make it useless in most cases) Force choke>3sec stunning effect(warrior) Electrocute>4sec stun which will practically hand out full resolve bar(sorcerer) Force push>single target knockback, due to animation will effectively give you 2-3 sec especially if followed up with a force charge. Your CC is hardly better than yours less you talking going up in lightning for force bindings or similiar but then you'll have CC short or not in talent trees aswell. Warrior have every bit as many utilities as sorcerer in a fight against ous, if you just use them for lolsmash builder, that really isn't our fault, same as if we use electrocute for opener we hand you a free cc immunity after its effect or when broken.
