  1. Assuming its because the snowball mechanic share function with buff system, and seems any kind of buffing or healing target you as pvp flagged from my understanding. At least that would be my guess to why as illogical as it may be.
  2. I get that's in the developers interest to have mechanic that create strong community ties as it helps to keep players from leaving, once they consider the amount of content they aimed for completed. But there are more likely than you think people who will not be affected by this, speaking of myself as one I usually pick up HC quests I find on the planet, clear solo content then abandon the HC content. There to little incentive most the time to put time and effort into gathering a group for it, on top of that most the time I find the group experience mid game more frustrating than enjoyable. If its because people you group with are still learning in during this phase or just bad luck with grouping or people feel they need to just get it done, same as people who solo I can't say. But keep in mind there going to be a large group of people who wish to mostly solo through TOR because they wanted a single player sequel to KOTOR rather than a MMO respectively.
  3. Not sure it would work as some the companion affection dialog and voice over refer to them by their originally made name, for instance Sith warrior call Vette by her name several times during voiced conversations. That being said I think it would definitely give more a feeling individuality to be able to not have same companion names as everyone else.
  4. You know to many Starwars fan there different types of canon division and most the core loyal fans consider the movie universe the only actual George Lucas canon universe.
  5. Would actually prefer an expansion where the character storyline actually progress individually. Markeb to me feel pretty streamline from what I have seen of it the storyline is more less same for each class there.
  6. Well usually not a big problem since most of those games one can get at GoG with compatibility for win 7 64-bit there, for a minor sum of money. Going back on topic I would appreciate a 64-bit client to.
  7. Just wondered if it was not possible to get some new skill icons for the abilities that share same icon across different classes, but at same time have different functions. Its a little annoying at times when you forget that you are on a different class and hit the rocket punch with bounty hunter opposed to having hit the interrupt that would been in that place on the juggernaut, became the skill icons look exactly identical. Could it not be possible to make unique icons so you don't have to remember exactly which is which in the heat of the moment, where you might accidently forget they are different abilities?
  8. I don't think his dead for one very simple and logical reason if they kill of the main bad guy they would do it in a scenario where nobody would miss out of the story, like with Darth Malgus.
  9. like the title say I don't get what the idea is behind having armoring mod and the mod have the exact same blue or purple material resource requirement, if you look at the planetary commendations armoring mods use 7 or if 10 if Markeb while mods use only 2 and 4 if markeb. So why exactly do they cost the same rare resources to make when you're cybertech it feels completely unlogical as there is about Zero incentive to actually make the mods given their big resource requirement, when it makes largely more sense to just make the armoring and buy the mod parts from the commendation vendor and save the extra commendations in the process. Who came up with this in my eyes very unlogical choice? Or can anyone explain the logic behind it to me.
  10. Just Feel still like its slightly unfair, commando just to take a example have armor piercing rounds that stack armor debuffs on top of that they can put on grav rounds with a least 2 stacks if they are talented in that direction. Mobs as I mentioned before can put on several armor debuffs at a given time. Having what seems to be a low armor debuff makes eating through mobs even with a dps companion sometimes take forever, especially if its some the elite droids which have a damage reduction that resembles that of a Bulwark or titanium wall. I am not saying that Juggernaut should be stacking extremely high armor debuff just don't get why there could not be a sort of mid point.
  11. Why on earth do the 2point talent crushing fist armor debuff not stack up with sundering assault, I mean serious most single enemy mobs can almost instantly stack up 3-5 rounds of armor debuff and if they ranged sometimes even throw grav round debuff ontop, so why on earth can't my juggernaut not have a stackable Crushing fist/sundering assault combination debuff? Just asking what makes it worth 2points if its only purpose a glorified AOE armor debuff with a very short duration while very few of our companions can actually do any AOE damage at all?
  12. Not entirely sure what causes it or if this will work for you but it worked for me: 1. Right click shortcut 2. Go to attributes. 3. Pick the tab compatibility 4. flag run program as administrator. Hope this helps
  13. There one easy way you can fix the crash problems, not entirely sure what causes it but this worked for me: 1. Right click shortcut 2. Go to attributes. 3. Pick the tab compatibility 4. flag run program as administrator. This should stop your flash point crashes or at least it did for me.
  14. I was wondering if its possible to get this armor as a cartel coin purchase in another texture form or just its current form for empire side, would really love to get this armor for Gault as I feel like it fits his personality and had trouble finding other custom armors which felt to me like they really did, I guess the closest I have seen I felt like it might be cartel outlaw or noble commander armor. Seeing as personality wise he seems the criminal angler type that enjoy luxury it feels awkward for me story/immersion wise to put him in a armor that does not reflect that.
  15. A quick walk into a warzones tells everything about most peoples lack and comprehension about tactics, I would not assume it to be any different in flash points. I blame it on all the dumped down action style games for developing a generations that does not understand or care about complex gaming levels or tactical playstyles.
  16. Irony is team developers who likely helping them from Mythics pvp department repeating the exact same mistake they did with magus, people cried about rift being to much utility and then large numbers you could pull with aoe dots, yet the damage in most cases in terms of dps on a single target was so low it took a really skilled magus, just to make it look half good.
  17. Yes it is if you haven't completed you class quest chain, but if you haven't then last companion quest wont show yet, following..
  18. Introduction I won't even start going into depths on why i feel pvp is hollow here, think most who really enjoy indepths pvp know what im talking about. However im also realistically enough to know Rome was not built in one day. So there i suggest following: 1. Make it optional which warzones to queue into Also let system remember choices when requeuing new ones. 2. Make a deathmatch warzone(make Warzone end on who reaches a certain kill score fastest, possibly put in buffs in warzone to spice things up as a option to, and cover spots), where people who have no interest in doing objectives can play around in. While this won't fix the lack of indepth content, i might help lessen the lack of enjoyment many feels from pvp missing purpose, simply because there be more option to get into a group which focus more on objectives than ganking and medal farming. This might actually help hold a few of people who are wanting to leave because of this problem, until such time where there is more indepts pvp to offer. There already been many talking about how they tired about certain people showing no interest, in focusing in objectives. Several games already show penalty does not advert this problem, so why not just let them have their own death match warzones to run, so rest can enjoy more objective filled pvp. EDIT: Also can't help but feel that is gonna help some the pug vs premade problems which been complained about, when you have bigger odds of coming in a group as pug, which actually show interest in completing their objectives.
  19. Irony really being ive been spending more time lately, playing a F2P game than playing TOR which i actually still have a paying subscription on which is waiting to expire.
  20. I plan on leaving, already have cancelled my subscription and rarely even bother to log in anymore. Feel like TOR becoming more and more WoW's gaming model. The pvp feels hollow lacking depths, there not real purpose to engage pvp in larger groups or to achieve anything as a group of people. PvP atm just a time sink candy coated with some flashy gear and a few fast paced instanced pvp minigames. EDIT: That said i won't drive a heavy hate on TOR, felt the storyline content was fresh and interesting, they made many enjoyable features which i liked quite well, which made gaming more practical and less a pain leveling and interacting with world.
  21. Already many who will semi walk this month if Guildwars 2 comes out in this month as it seems like. At least from what i see and hear.
  22. You do realise that the whole Resilience and now expertise is a by product of the fact, that raiders were whinning that people who pvp, should not get gear on levels with what they earned in raiding, and the pvp community were against pve raiders whenever they got bored went into pvp and stomped out pvp players with their better stats from raiding gear. So less the mentaility changes on that i doubt you gonna be seeing removals of expertise. But personal i think its sad, that game play options gets much more restricted when you have to farm both things, if you enjoy doing both, but then again it was what people asked for back when it came to life.
  23. what your heard must been a warm up for a Aprils fool one good sarcasme deserves another i think
  24. Guessing a combination of things: 1. Wait for go get something done with a group because people are in various stages of the game. 2. Maybe people grown tired getting into group with people who take themselves to serious or downright **** *****. 3. Maybe group content just becoming so much about a ends to a mean, than about the actual social aspect. Assume people have a various of reason not to enjoy grouping.
  25. My subscription expire around 18th next month, i have not been on much lately. Considering joining my guild in guildwars 2 if a branch of the guild opens there. For someone who enjoy PvP TOR just doesn't deliver, its a great game in many aspects but for me the PvP endgame is hollow. There no real purpose in the PvP not impact outside being a minigame death match sport for gear with a few objectives in a instanced pvp. There no real core reasons for people to join together in larger pvp groups to achieve something. Until i see pvp in a bit bigger scope than just some instanced gear grinding minigame sport im not sure if ill continue, but i wish the people who satisfied with the game as it is all the best, its just not the type of game for me in its current state
