is this actually happening? It is not so easy to time your explosion to go off to infect others unless they are standing around. I cannot infect on demand. You can die repeatedly from the plague one after the other and stiill rez without issue./ Has any of these things happened to you because to me it sounds like a lot of hypothetical hyperbole as opposed to something that has actually happened. have to spend 2k on it. I refuse to spend any credits on it at all.. I like exploding.. it really is not that big a deal. get plague explode rez.. carry on doing what you are doing.. I'm lvl 50 with a few million credits.. exploding really isn't that bad. Anyway.. why not explode once and then sell the samples to pay for a bunch of vaccines

Good question.. WHat if I didn't like it.. well I would probably do what I did in wow and avoid it. It wasn't hard there and it is a lot easier here. What I wouldn't do is post my outrage when the evnt has affected me in just a miniscule amount. I suspect most of the negative whiners are paid by another company because they really need to man up and stop whining.

THis type of post above is what I will remember unfortunately. I play on a EU server not one of the busiest but I can always find people to do and always do the stuff I want.. geenrally about 130 on in fleet which has never been a problem to me. TBH I wouldn't care if there was 0 on in fleet as long as I am playing the game how I want to play it and am able to raid, run instances and PvP without a problem I don't need a trillion people around me. you were one of the 3 or 4 people of your faction in a zone not planet. Don't say planet to make it sound worse say zone because that's what it is. That's not too bd once the levelling is out of the way tbh. I would expect corellia to house that many before 1.2 once people have done the quests there once. And standard population means the entire server not just one zone. The heroics were designed for groups of friends to play if they wanted to. Nothing forcing them you to play them. I am sorry you didn't have a friend who wanted to level with you. And you brought 6 months.. lol.. I brought standard version and never do more than a one month sub or time card and that was after trying the beta and deciding I liked it because you can never tell a few months down the line. As it happens I like it. I will remember whining posts like the above and I will also remember my guild and the fun we are currently having raiding. About half of us fly through nightmare but we also run normal on other nights to help the socials. I just love raiding with fun people. There's this bit before minesweeper boss in the new instance where you tell people who don't know to get up on to the top which results in instance death for them. They get a mark on their head suddenly and about 5 seconds left to live.. lol.. priceless.. That I am going to remember. Managed to solo the new heroic 4 daily but goddam I don't expect everyone to be soloing it that's for sure I remember stuff like that.

Well sucks to be you. My EU server which was already fine has become a lot more active.. seeing a growth of what feels like some 150% in numbers since 1.2. So maybe YOUR EU server is REALLY terrible but not all EU servers are REALLY terrible. anyway off to run the new instance. cya

It's a game. You have to work for things in the game and then you get a reward. Without work there is no reward. All games are like this. You work and get a reward. In chess, you work at youe game so you can beat better and better opponents. Your reward is beating them. The harder the work the better the reward. Getting a reward without work just paying money is something else. That is crack cocaine. You pay your money and have your fun. No work required. THis however is a game.

One of the reasons you got pissed off is because they gave you a legacy system (Is this the first time something like this has been implemented?) and it wasn't exactly how you wanted it? really?? I would imagine you get pissed off about a lot of things. FIlms that don't end how you want for example I would think must be pretty high up there.

Once tank has solid agro the dps can open up. If they open up too early then dps pull boss. If they take it easy and ramp it up to going all out at 30 seconds then this is the same as how they play in wow. (Not saying the mechanic is the same.. saying the outcome is similar) It means as a tank once I have and am sure I have initial agro my priorities change throughout the fight. During the first 30 seconds I am concerned with generating as much threat as possible. After that time I can relax on the threat and start use some cd'd reducing my damage as much as possible. Just different to how WoW does it.

Just let people hook up when they want to and have the patcher upgrade or downgrade the software depending on what server version it is trying to connect to. THis way people could log in when they want with some inconvenience for switching regions like we saw yesterday with people who had patched early then had to unpatch. This is an easy implementation and would allow maintenance to be with minimum fuss per region. There is no reason why they need to bring down all the servers at once.

I didn't think americans got sarcasm. Anyway yes it sucks. Hopefully be up again and running nicely. If it helps back in wow days if we had a raid planned for the day of a patch you could cancel that raid due to servers not coming back up on time. They only begrudgingly gave us the odd day here and there for breaking our server for a period of 24 hours. Sure bioware looking into it. Why bother opening servers in that part of the world, most other mmo companies don't bother so sure they have this but just too much going on right now. Sucks for now but from my experience with MMO's it will get better as time goes on.

A free month.. Thank you bioware. That's just mad. They didn't have to do that for people who were already happily subscribing.. can understand the free 7 days for returning players but 30 day free is incredible. I don't know any other company that would do that.

So far enjoying 1.2. I like the family tree fluff thing that's nice. At last can start wearing some gear I want to wear. Put the whole set to match my chest piece. Still a lot to see not explored it properly yet. Looking forward to a new raid in an hour or so

Well they said last week it was coming this week.. and they said it wouldn't be tuesday and they released 1,1 on a thursday. I always thought the patch was coming thursday nice to have confirmation of that though

you think it's funny now? Wait till 1.2 hits.. we'll see whose laughing then.. they should offer free transfers off full servers with queues sometime shortly after 1.2 dropped IMO. That should help the problem.
