yes why did they bother to take a screen shot at prime time and not in the early hours of the morning when everything is light with the caption "we failed" plastered all over it.. I've had exactly this for as long as I can remember in LoTRO.. WoW and now SWToR. I've always just worked around it like you said.

SWTOR sold me on the story and I like that. I space bar in flash points and raids other then that I listen to the dialogue and get into the story. having a in game store will ruin this game for me same as it did for lotro. Because the better things they put in store the more they will sell.. The more they get you to use the store the more they will sell. Playing lotro in my opinion right now is akin to going shopping in a lotr themed superstore rather than an immersive story. It looks and feels cheap and tacky and a greedy commercial mess. Maybe swtor is a greedy commercial mess also but at least they have the integrity to at least look like they are trying to hide it. a sub in a freemium game does not get you access to all the content. You either have limited play + MT or Sub + MT.

actually your link is basically saying what I said.. It's a way of getting more memory for a 32 bit process a 64 bit process would eliminate the need if this is the case for all the high IO usasge. it would seem this is the price we pay for accessing the widest customer base.

I thought they were a way of getting past the 2 gig per process memory limit imposed by having a 32 bit client. So it all runs as a client/server. Perhaps releasing a 64 bit client will solve a lot of issues.

This was the right place to ask that question. Take your pick 1. The game is dead already and no one is playing. 2. The game is doing OK with 1.3 million subs and the f2p question. Once again take your pick 1. Game is dead already and should of gone f2p months ago and they are charging a sub for cr@p beta. Will be F2P within 1 month 2. The game will never go f2p because EA wont allow it How populated is the game? 1. OMG there is only 23 people on this entire planet that sucks I cnnot find anyone to group with.. That's 23 people on this ENTIRE PLANET.. WoW has far greater numbers that this. 2. 23 people on Taris which is like tanaris I guess in WoW.. 23 people in a levelling zone after 6 months is good IMO.

this is great.. I'm kind of call a duck a duck If it's sweet and tastes nice then it is a fruit. If it is savoury then it is a vegtable. A tomato I will call a vegetable despite it being a fruit. same with sci fi/fantasy. If it is has swords and on one planet and technologically backwards then it is fantasy.. tolkien elves etc all that stuff. If it has space travel and lasers then I call it sci fi.. same as most everyone else does except the pedantic.

My original guild folded but joined a new guild about 2 months ago and now I raid 3-4 times a week. We progressively raid at least one of those nights a week and go back and do NiM KP or EV or SM EC to help gear people up. I try and get on every night to run koan and/or LI to help the guild with their weeklies to help farm comms.

So if you don't like a fully voiced MMO and went and brought SWTOR to play and thinks the devs are idiots for making it fully voiced. If I wanted a holiday but didn't like cold weather I would not think the holiday company were idiots because I booked a holiday in antartica. I most certainly wouldn't then go onto a public forum and whine about my supidity.
