  1. That does not change the fact that sorcerers and mercs out damage us and they do it with one button from 30m away. That doesn't change the fact that when we are countered (aoe's, jedi dots) we are countered for minutes since we can't reenter stealth. That doesn't change the fact that we have to deal with so many more variables than other classes and we still have the lowest output. That doesn't change the fact that bioware clearly threw numbers into our gear and did no balancing. Fixed energy/energy regen with a lot of our gear containing alacrity. For those of you who do not know. +Fire Rate = + Energy Loss 3 of our gear sets have the same 4 peice bonus. No other class has that. That 4 peice bonus (+5 energy) is pointless, and you MAY!!!!! see one additional attack after 5 minutes of careful attention to energy level to keep regen rate at a specific point. Bioware needs to be sued from every operative. That is how bad this class is. Unplayable. They are taking from us and giving to the majority. We killed sorcs. Bioware took us out of the game with a massive nerf rendering concealment almost as useless as lethality because we targeted sorcs, so their most played class would not be mad. Criminal. All there is too it. Lying criminals at bioware.
  2. What level are you. I HIGHLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! suggest you reroll. Operative is straight up, unplayable end game. For a little while, you may be alright with putting in 10X the work as players playing other classes for half the reward, but you will give up like the rest of us, when we are not allowed in any heroics because our class simply can not do anything to the level as BH's, Inquisitor's and Warriors. Reroll man. trust me.
  3. A LOT of operatives have quit. I know at least 90% of the operatives from warriors of the shadow that got 50 in the first month have rerolled or quit. Unfourtantly it has become clear bioware is not going to focus on our class. Some of us were focusing Sorcerers and Sages in warzones. They did not want to have them dying and have a chance of quitting so instead of balancing our class, they just removed it. I highly suggest you give up. Just quit like a lot of us have.

  5. Short answer is. Bioware completely ****ed our class. We have 3 different sets of gear with 4 piece sets with +5 energy. This is in fact a useless stat. In the long run, it dose nothing. Alacrity. Decreases our cast time. All this does is force us to cast our heals more often instead of give us stronger heals. This does nothing but force to us to waste energy faster and use diagnostic scan (which is a useless pos heal). Bioware has completely ****ed this class.
  6. Could the "high burst damage" be due to the fact that the only people still playing operative were dedicated players who were well geared targeting non geared light armor wearing *****es. Oo and there were ALOT of them. 50 warzones. 188 bh's 373 inquisitors 119 warriors 161 agents (50 of which are me). Without me in those warzones at the same rate of appearance we can expect the numbers to actually be. 200 BH's 396 Inquisitors 129 Warriors 118 Agents Bioware isn't balancing on their games numbers they are balancing on how players are playing. We are underplayed dedicated players who focus fired that cry baby group of light armor wearing sorcerers. Now our class is equivalent to a combat dancer in SWG. Cool spinning moves when we get into melee range but useless in the grand scheme.
  7. That's all well and good. BUT!!!!!!!! There is one key point to make out. IF! you were playing something else. ANYTHING!!! else. You would be doing 2X+ what you are doing now. That is the key to the "operative" is fine statements. Every other class is superior.
  8. Again.... FIX OPERATIVE. Lethality = useless/broken 4 of our 6 pvp gear sets = useless/broken 9 of our abilities = useless/broken Nobody should give a **** about global cooldown UI when one of the classes in the game is unplayable.
  9. They have made it very clear they want nothing to do with us. We are such the minority and for fear of making even a small portion of the sorcs mad because they got killed by the stealth class they almost never see in pvp they just removed us from the game and continue to ignore us. We arnt good dps classes. So many mechanics, melee requiring being behind the target we are in fact the worst damage class in the game. Our healing is worst in the game. Our lethality tree is nonexistent. It is beyond broken, it is not fair to leave it in the game as it wastes the money of the operative who will INEVITABLY HAVE! to respec out of it.
  10. I don't know how it is on your servers, but on mine on my way to valor 60, I was almost always the only agent in the warzone. Every once in awhile another agent would appear. MAYBE 1:30 we would have 3 agents (on both sides for all of these). Given how rare agents were even when I pvped, how often are agents never in a warzone. If I wasn't pvping, and I did not enter that warzone, the warzones had to be atleast 70% of the time without a single agent. I kept track of 50 warzones played. Without considering me, the numbers were 356 inquisitors 155 warriors 311 bh's 24 agents
  11. Although I hate sages and sorcs with a burning passion for how easy their class is to play and how dominant it is as such an easily played class, two things about your post. 1. Posting about nerfing sages/sorcs on these forums will not work. Most servers are around 75% sages/sorcs and 25% everything else. For every post on these fourms, you will have a 10:1 ratio of sages/sorcs posting (because of the personality type that is attracted to that class). 2. Bioware will do nothing to make sages/sorcs less than #1 class in the game. They are the majority and bioware cares only about money.
  12. same here. I was straight up dumbfounded by these nerfs. half the time I am being thrown around a warzone so I can't even attack. After minutes of work (which a sorc and merc would just press tab and 1 button to do) I finally got a chance to attack somebody. That attack still did less damage than sorcs/mercs abilities yet they nerfed us, so that now even if we do get pass all the ******** mechanics of our class, we are still MASSIVELY weaker in terms of damage than the other damage classes in the game. We essentially put in so much more work for so little reward. That being, worst damage in the game. I had to stop playing. Operative could not compete with any other class in the game. Couldn't kill anything before they just targeted the melee player. Straight up fact. Concealment operative is unplayable in warzones. It's a waste of a group slot, way too much work, no reward. And we have to do it while mercs and sorcs sit there with their dick in one hand and the other hand pressing the 2 button on their keyboard dominating warzones. No thanks bioware. You want ops out of the game you got it. Lost another subscriber.
  13. It's not incompetence persay. It's more appropriately described as, developers doing what bioware bosses are telling them to do who are doing what ea bosses are telling them to do which investors are telling them to do which is, make the majority of the players happy (sorcs). They are just ignoring our class. They have been VERY clear about that. The fact is (which many of us have already realized) is the only way to send a message is to unsubscribe. However, operative are such the minority class played. 100% of operative quitting would still be less than 5% of the sorcs quitting. We will never be fixed. We will always be inferior to sorcs/mercs. They are simply the most played class and bioware cares about money more than anything else. BTW. biowares customer service department has 130 employees. All these subscribers and they could not hire enough people in customer service to stop the week long delay in ticket response. You know why? Because bioware/ea/board execs know, "players will not start quitting the game till we take more than a week to respond to their problems". So, they hire "only enough to get to tickets within a week". Just cancel the sub. Ive seen bad development but their treatment of operative is straight up disgusting it should be criminal. Also want to see misplaced developer agendas? Look at biochem. The op crafting class. Instead of trying to fix the USELESS other crafting classes, they simply adjust biochem 3 times. Now. They actually make biochem BETTER as a crafting class. The crafting class most played (already OP) is made better by allowing them to see their items more effectively. Still, without ever addressing the simple fact that armormech is so bad, NOBODY can realistically "craft" anything for that class. You simply dig deep deep deep in a hole with that crafting class it is essentially unplayable. Still not fix for that.

  15. No rotation is possible. All cooldowns. All melee abilities which mean a simple stun, mez root or snare forces us to use ranged attacks. However, use hidden strike --> shiv --> backstab --> corrosive dart --> laceration --> laceration --> (laceration again if you got a extra tactical advantage from the dot) --> shiv --> backstab then run. Our skills depend on tactical advantage which can come from uncontrollable situations like dots and kills so it's impossible to have a fixed rotation.
  16. Yep. Op clearly isn't playing operative or is not good enough to recognize obvious deficits.
  17. Some dots can't be dispelled. Inquisitor/Warrior dots can not be dispelled unless you are healer spec.
  18. At 50 it's a waste of energy for very little damage. No good operative uses it. It's also broken. A lot of the time, rifle shot does more damage than overload shot. If you are lvl 18 op, I HIGHLY suggest you reroll. Operatives are doomed to being the weakest class in the game at the only 2 roles we can fulfill. We are the hardest to play (both healing and dps) with so many mechanics to deal with that offer no actual bonus. We are ignored by the devs and still getting nerfed which is *********** INSANE. They are clearly only listening to the sorcs/mercs and I honestly fear, we will have our overall damage dropped another 50% before we ever see a single bug fix for our class (which has ALOT of them).
  19. Dont expect any bug fixes anytime soon. We have had those bugs since the launch. They nerf our class to the dirt and didn't even attempt to address them. Bioware developers are focused on the majority of their players. We are getting ****ed in the ***.
  20. The only thing considered melee/ranged attacks are the basic lvl 1 no cost abilities. Evasion is useless.
  21. Cloak attack just gives other players another way to counter us. Even with our cloak attack (another thing we have to deal with) assassins are still better damage dealers than us. Tradeoffs are only an acceptable excuse if more work (having to attack from stealth) confers greater reward. That is not the case.
  22. Lethality is unplayable as an operative. Shiv, hiddenstrike and kills grant tactical advantage. So, as a ranged class you don't get tactical advantage so you can't use your main ability in lethatlity. Energy cost is absurd for lethality. Straight up unplayable. In terms of roles. I think the combat dancer in SWG was better at the damage role than lethality operative is at the damage role in SWTOR. These devs are beyond horrible. They wont admit they are only balancing the game to keep subscribers (their sorcs/mercs). The only people playing lethality op are those who do not know its broken. These devs are so bad and ****** this entire operative community it should seriously be a crime. We are being ****ed so bioware can make their sorcs happy. All there is too it.
