After making nothing but Human Species, I decided to roll one of these goof balls for a Trooper character i had in mind. Really, I just needed the eye patch...I had an image of what I want my character to look like. Which also requires a Stache. What a Let down ! Cyborgs can't even grew facial Hair! This Species is completely worthless....What a waste of opportunity...

I love my Op...so much that I rolled him 3 x. Once in Beta, once at launch to 25, and rerolled my latest main a 31 Op on a new server. I'm quite a casual player and rather not power level. But consider myself a decent veteran MMO player with experience dating back to daoc. When I pvp with my Concealment Op I try to play strategically, mostly stealth around objectives and pick my moments. I can fire off some nasty Burst DPS to get the jump on someone. But If I am 1 on 1 I'd say I have maybe a 50% chance of taking them down If there same lvl or higher. After burst I'm pretty exposed. I have a hard time finishing players off. I also noticed Scoundrels kick the crap outta me too? Which is weird cause I don't think there is any difference. But seems I'm always stun locked 1 on 1 with them. Granted I'm usually under-geared about 5 lvls, dont know how much that matters, maybe at 30+ For a change I rolled a Trooper. At lvl 10 I went into a Warzone and kicked so much *****. Kill count was 34, not the highest but I think thats way more then my Op ever did. I have about 3 AoE abilities at lvl 10 so that must help, but I have to say I felt like I could really stand my ground against 40's. So...How can a lvl 10 Commando Trooper be so much more effective then a lvl 31 Operative? Are we that weak now or gear dependent? Still haven't gotten Hidden strikes, do we just blossom later then Troopers? Please no L2P comments, I know Im no top of the charts pvper, But do fairly well.

I started 2 troopers because I cant decide which body type I prefer. At first I rolled male body type 3. But the guys seems so massive. He might look good with an assault cannon in his hands though. The second one is male body type 2, But he maybe a little small to be a Trooper. Something about him dosen't seem all that special. What do you folks prefer? Dose any one type look better in our armor?

I'd say check your UI settings in Preferences. Some where at the top there is a "Take Cover" keybind. Which already has a default setting. It could be that.

I know this may sound lame but....How do you pass the ball in huttball? Evertime Someone passes off to me I try to run it as far as I can before I get Mobbed. When Im going down I try to pass the ball. But I never can. Is it because I'm getting stun locked? I try to target a friendly member nearby, and click the huttball icon But it never goes off.

what is investigation good for? What would u pair it with...Armstech? I never see anyone talking about it.

I want to trade up my Dromund Kaas Comendation for Balmorra. Is this still possible? If so where can I do it?

Hello, I'm curious for ppls opinions on RP-PVP server types. This is really the first time I've ever considered rolling a main on one. Usually I'm strictly a PVE server guy, But spent aboout a year on a WoW PvP server and kinda enjoyed the ganking, at least when I won. I'm in love with the storylines here and really surprised at the lack of interest of playing out the story when I'm grped here . I think SWTOR is so different from other MMo's because of the voice acting and story telling. And truth be told I'm a bit turned off by players who...{spacebar} there way through the game and expect others there grped with too. It appears everyone I group with (and in my guild) are on the mission to hit lvl cap in the first month of the game. I guess thats the new norm now. I'm actually am kinda old school and enjoy the lvl grind. I remember the sense of accomplishment in DAOC when it was new, getting to 50 meant something back then. Anyways to wrap up, I don't consider myself an RPer, But I think being on an RP server may be helpful in finding a group of players that arent in a rush to lvl cap and just wanna enjoy the game and all its storytelling. Only one way to find out is to lvl up a toon and see, But, I'm I right?

Greetings All, I'm glad I found this Thread. Seems like most of the RP-PVP posts are from Jung-Ma. I'm posting here to ask the community if I made the right decision to roll an alt here. Of course time will tell...But, I don't really consider myself an RPer. I'm really digging the Lore, which is why I rolled an alt on a RP server. My Main is guilded on a PVE server and already I have grouped with people that don't wanna listen to the story. I wanna take a break from the L33t players and find a guild of players that isn't on a speeding train to 50 by next week. I rolled a Smuggler named Jett-Jackson. And I just wanna have fun soloing my class story and grouping for Heroics, flashpoints, and whatnot down the road. In the past I've rolled on other MMO PvP servers, but I'm a complete noob to SWTOR pvp. Looking for reassurance here I guess, the whole RP-PVP server type is new to me. Also since I'm now on a RP server, I'm curious is Balance is reversed compared to other servers. I feel like there actually may not be enough Sith on a RP server and your abundance of Jedi and Smugglers will be Mass.

didnt read thread only title....these ques are unacceptable....im 43minute in line now and counting ( about # 300). I thought guild distribution and stress tests was there so this wouldn't happen....not cool!!!!

would love to know as well. I'm looking at cybertech and armstech but they both have items that require heavy armor. I dont see any craftable weapon or armor, just mods and shield generators.
