  1. We don't have character transfers yet because we are going to be merged into larger servers. http://www.swtor.com/test-center/news/316140 BTW, the population on Ebon Hawk is just fine.
  2. Hmmm... I don't like this. I'd rather they put more improvements in the VIP area for people who have access to it (like a GTN kiosk, maybe minigame tables, if and when we get those, and other things). If you want to duel, then request that an area on one of the other fleet ships be set aside for that purpose.
  3. While doing the Black Hole dailies this morning with 30 people in the instance, I have come to the conclusion that whomever designed that set of dailies was either on the toilet or bored in Sunday School and really didn't think it through. Because consider that (from an Imperial point-of-view) 1) you've got to kill 20 mobs to advance to the next stage of the mission and 2) you end up killing mobs around the objective of the next stage, which actually removes the objectives of the first stage from the pool for people trying to complete the first stage... Also, the area in which mobs are considered eligible is restricted to the lower half of the map. Seems it would be better suited to allow mobs in the whole map to be eligible, plus to include crates in the whole area (and would also encourage this world pvp... thing... people are always wanting... whatever that is...).
  4. So much this. Most of my companions on my companions other than my Inquisitor have crap for gear and my Inquisitor's companions only have gear because she's got an overabundance of Tionese/Columi comms and I've been gearing them up. Heck, I just spent a bunch of Tionese comms/crystals on a full set of tanking gear to rip out the mods to send to my Jugg to mod out the CE Imp Trooper set for Pierce.
  5. This would be nice if, for instance, you get something for them, equip it, vendor something they had, then decide you don't like the new stuff and decide you want to go back to the old look. Done that a few times.
  6. This is true. And for me, it differs from character to character. My Inquisitor would like "Lady" as she was trained to be a scholar (think Inara from Firefly but without the "companion" connotations), but my Warrior is most definitely a "Lord," plain and simple. Of course, if it comes right down to it, there's always RP. /shrug What I don't like is people suggesting that just because something is "feminine" it makes it any less "legitimate."
  7. This is not going to be a problem because of the new High Population Server. Just be patient.
  8. Are you saying you don't *want* your companion to put his/her weapons away? I'm confused... Andronikos has finally started putting his weapons away. I don't know what changed... A few weeks ago I changed out his weapons for something a little better looking and now after we kill some mobs, he puts his blasters away automatically. However, he still has them drawn after phasing, dismounting from a speeder or from a auto-speeder. But any time after that first kill, they're holstered.
  9. Most definitely. There needs to be a distinctive sound for when the group finder pops so it will alert you.
  10. Nah... it wouldn't. You would just have the title displayed as "Lady" but people would still address you as Lord. Not a big deal. Those non-Sith that address you as "Lord" are usually Imperial citizens (military, intelligence, the full citizen who isn't part of one of these organizations) and non-citizens (ie "slaves," non-Imperials who have Imperial connections and who brown-nose, etc) who knows what is good for them.
  11. It probably takes a lot longer than we realize to create eight new sets of gear; far longer than they had time to create it for the release of TfB. Probably why the gear in 1.4 is simply recolored BH/Campaign stuff (it was probably already planned a long time ago). We'll probably see newly designed stuff (hopefully stuff that's not so awful and a little more "Star Wars."
  12. Uhm... thinking back... there was a similar thread not so long ago and someone posted that they solo FE with Blizz. I have a lightning specced guildmate who got to tank HM Foundry the other day when the know-nothing tank kept dying and they kicked him and couldn't find a replacement. My sage uses Iresso and he does just fine. I have done the Imperial version of the Black Hole Heroic Daily (End of Torvix) with two healers and companions, one being a tanking companion, and have had no problem keeping that companion alive and he's had no trouble keeping and holding threat. Maybe you should look at how you're gearing your tanks, what stats you're gearing for, what stance you've got them in, etc.
  13. That's the only one I would like to have access to, but since I use the title Darth, it's rather a moot point. But it would be nice to be able to have access to it before the end of the class quest. I just prefer "Lady" over "Lord."
  14. One thing to consider is that some people (like me) use DPS companions instead of tanks because I prefer to use Andronikos over Khem Val or Xalek not because the DPS comp scales better than the tank companion but because Andronikos is my husband and I can't stand Khem Val (I strongly dislike companions that don't speak Basic because I don't have subtitles enable and I have all things like conversation/story lines sent to a different chat tab that isn't my main chat tab and therefore am not always aware when they tell me they're dying or when they get a random convo trigger) and well, Andronikos is my hubby. That's not to say that I don't use tank companions. I use whatever companion I *want* to use and adjust my gameplay accordingly.
  15. Yeah, it's a little southeast of the heroic area for the mission Shadow Spawn. If you hug the eastern wall, like you're going for the aim datacron, but instead of turning into the alcove for the datacron, and keep going, you'll find a river and some scaffolding. The world boss is in a dammed off area east of that area. He's called The First, btw.
  16. They have already said there will be a new daily hub on Belsavis. Why Belsavis again, I dunno, except it probably has something to do with the new operation and the Dread Masters. Seems Belsavis is pretty popular all of a sudden. http://www.swtor.com/info/media/screens/belsavis-daily-0 http://www.swtor.com/info/media/screens/belsavis-daily
  17. It hasn't been. I have warrior friends that have had a hard time with it, and I seem to recall having had a hard time with it on my healer Inquisitor (but I was a healer and used Andronikos) but it never seemed as difficult as others all made him out to be. On all my other characters I blew through it. He's not *that* difficult if you know what you're doing. I had a friend who was a jugg try and fail 7 times and then got frustrated and asked for help. I came through on my sniper a day later and had absolutely no trouble with him, but then again, I used my heroic moment with Force Choke, Orbital Strike and Force Storm and he folded like paper. ;)p Plus I have like... 17 companions unlocked in my Legacy so that might have something to do with it, and Vector is one awesome bug man.
  18. Yes. Not all tall women have shoulders like a linebackers and thighs that could crack a telephone pole. And it would be nice if she didn't look like a supermodel, either.
  19. Yes, please. I did Hammer Station several times trying to get something for Andronikos (smuggler) and just kept getting Sith Inquisitor stuff. It was really frustrating.
  20. Same goes for the females. There should be a tall option that isn't so... mannish? looking.
