  1. They reset at 8 am Eastern. I have been at the terminal several times and the missions become available at that time.
  2. Like a previous poster, I'm wondering what the perceived problem with the body type 2 is. It's slightly taller than the female bodies 1, 2 and 3, of medium build and generally aesthetically pleasing. As for anyone looking like their characters, what does that have to do with anything? The comment is irrelevant. I, too, wish we had sliders instead of four distinct body types. I also wish things like eyebrows weren't linked to complexion, and that hair/horn features (for Zabrak) and cosmetic/marking (for Twi'lek) weren't on the same slider. They should have their own sliders
  3. The "body suit" skin for Ashara was most likely a stopgap measure so that you *could* equip the dancer outfits on her and not have her be invisible. I agree, it was not the most elegant solution, but it was a solution at least. I'm quite certain that we will eventually see a proper "skin" for Ashara at some point in the future. However, it's one of those many things that is not game-breaking and therefore not at the top of the priority list.
  4. The dailies already set at the same time: 8 am Eastern. Weeklies reset on Tuesdays. You're asking for something that already exists.
  5. I disagree. The number of companions we have is just fine; in fact, I'm looking forward to getting *more* companions. Yes, it can be a pain to get them to max affection and I wish there were easier ways to do it (am not struggling to max Qyzen's affection and as my main is Empire and my Consular is in fresh 50 starter gear, I have no desire to do dailies on her), but once done, it's done. I think what is needed is a more streamlined way to do crafting. A better, more intuitive UI for crafting would be nice. It has been suggested that we be able to send comps on different toons out from a single character (for instance, if I were on my Sorcerer, I would be able to open the crafting UI, select my Juggernaut and then send her companions out on crew missions) and that the materials they bring back be placed within a Legacy wide cargo hold bay so it can be accessed from all your characters for crafting purposes and to do away with having to mail items back and forth. Another change that would alleviate the grind of crafting is to increase the number of items that can be queued for each companion (why only 5 at a time?), being able to queue up discovery missions, and a (slightly) increased chance to discover a blue or purple schematic the more times you reverse engineer an item, with perhaps a skill bonus the higher your crew skill level is (perhaps +1% per 50 skill level or something or break it down so the total increase is +5% at 400). Something I would suggest is maybe providing a purchasable Crit/Efficiency for a companion (somewhat similar to the way you can purchase special sensors for the ship droid from the ship astromech droid) but being able to select what bonuses they can have (because depending on your class and what crew skills you chose, it's possible to get a companion that does not have a bonus for that skill or that your beginning companions don't possess when you're just starting to level). I know that it appears that crew members have skills that apply to what gits their stories (ie Vette and Andronikos are supposed to be excellent slicers so they have a bonus in that skill, and Andronikos (being a pirate) has a bonus for Underworld Trading), but it's kind of limiting at the same time. These, plus perhaps an increase on the number of items that can be attached to mail (from 8 to 12, perhaps) would improve crafting greatly. Taking away the people that make our characters' lives more interesting is not the way to go.
  6. Having leveled a Sorcerer in Corruption spec since I was able to chose my Advanced Class, and who heals on that Sorcerer in endgame ops and flashpoints (including Lost Island with nary a problem), it seems to me that either you don't play a healer regularly, or simply don't know how to heal very well.
  7. There are ways to circumvent having to use the balloon. You'd need to get a Juggernaut/Guardian and a Sorcerer/Sage to group up then go to the second sandcrawler. There is a spot where if they are positioned correctly, with the Sorc/Sage standing with their back to the crawler, then with the Jugg/Guardian facing them, they can duel, and the Jugg/Guardian can Force Push the other onto the crawler. From there the Sorc/Sage can pull people up onto the crawler.
  8. Some would like the ability to display these "hot tops" as you call them the way they were meant to be displayed. By that I mean the way they look on a male character and not cut off. Some of the nicest detailing on these tops are around the midriff and frankly they look silly the way they are displayed on female characters, especially since most have a hood. I always feel kind of silly wearing one of those. "Oh, I have this deep hood to cover my hair and face, but hey! Look! I have a belly button!" I'm not saying that I have anything against having midriff-baring chest pieces available. I would prefer that they create other looks, though.
  9. And conversely, (and I can't stress *this* enough) but Light Sith =/= Jedi. There should be *fewer* restrictions on gear. What does it matter if both sides look the same? I'm really tired of the somber colors and long skirt with hood options for Inquisitors. I would like to have a robe and pants, please. A *hoodless* robe.
  10. I get my companions orange moddable gear as soon as I can; lots of times as I'm leveling my companion has better gear than I do.. You can get the mods/armorings/etc at other places besides planetary comms. Plus some are quest rewards, and random drops. Making their gear moddable is a very good idea because sometimes they get something that is nice looking and I'd like to keep it but it's quickly outleveled.
  11. Simple solution: Dismiss Scourge when you are talking to someone or else get used to buying gifts for him. Or, once you hit 50 do the Belsavis dailies. Those are the best way to get maximum affection for several companions.
  12. Bioware made it very clear that the crystal vendor would only be available in game until 1.2 and then what that vendor sold would not be available in-game any more. They have also said that they would not reintroduce those color crystals (the white one specifically) in any way other than a way to get it that was challenging and hard to get. And also extremely rare. Now, that's not to say that it may not be available from the cartel coin vendor or some other way, but I sincerely doubt it will ever be available from an event.
  13. Just a few notes here. Purple crystals are also "endgame" crystals, not just PVP. They are the color for Columi mainhands which drop off operation bosses and also the final boss in Lost Island. Orange crystals are crafted. The endgame orange crystals that are found in chests in HM Explosive Conflict have black cores. Magenta (or Light Red as it's called now) come from rare schematic drops. Not all Magenta crystals have endgame stats, as there are schematics that drop from some world bosses (Aldaraan) that are level 31. You have also forgotten the red-black crystals, which are found in Rakata level mainhands and in PVP weapons (Battlemaster, at least for Empire). I'm not sure where the blue-black comes from. There is also a cyan color available to the Republic (just as purple is for Empire). Purple-black are rare drops from chests/bosses from HM Explosive conflict. Green-black come in two different flavors: If you purchased a specific Razer product you could get a code to get a green-black core. Green-black were also available during the Rakghoul world event. and are no longer available except at exorbitant prices on the GTN.
  14. I agree it would take some doing to be able to get two player characters to be able to dance together, but it would be a very cool thing. I am willing to settle for just being able to do so with my companions, though. I would love to have a dinner date with Andronikos then dance the night away. It's a nice wish. It will probably never happen. But until then one can dream.
  15. As has been pointed out, but I will beleaguer the point again: The option to put the hood up or down on any item already existing would greatly outweigh the advantage of simply introducing a few items that have the hood down permanently. There are a lot of items in the game (especially for the Empire) that are nice looking, but have hoods up. By having the ability to toggle a hood up or down gives more choices as to what one can wear. It's a complicated process. The link I gave is a very recent post and explains that they are indeed working on being able to put hoods up or down on any piece of gear, but with the new business strategy they had to reallocate some artistic resources to other things at the moment. However, it's still in the works, and they plan on releasing it when they get the artwork finished and working correctly.
  16. Very well thought out suggestion. I would certainly enjoy it, especially on some characters that I sort of rushed to get leveled, or leveled a while ago but don't feel like rerolling a character of that class. Hardmode and Nightmare modes would be really cool. And maybe the reward could be a set of social gear.
  17. Please. Dear. Emperor. No. I'm all for new dances, but why can't they be something nice... The female Club Dance could actually use a few more steps to it. And I'd much prefer for them to make the ability to dance with your companion longer or looped. How about some slow dances?
  18. There's a reason you have to wait, in a safe zone, without doing PVP, for the flag to wear off. It's to prevent people from flagging, attacking someone who is flagged, then flipping off the flag so they can't get attacked by an enemy player.
  19. This is really irksome to someone who would like to use the best relics available, but has no intention of every joining another warzone on the character I would like it on. I actually did do a lot of PVP and even managed to get to valor 40 before realizing that I was not having fun any more, and I wasn't going to do it any more. So I vendored a full set of Battlemaster and have never looked back. And nothing will get me to start again. To make these "better" than what you can get from drops in operations or from vendors is simply ridiculous.
  20. Well not a feature, but that's the way certain of the class quests are. If you die while doing them, you are sent back to the beginning (using of an instanced area) and have to do the entire thing over. It does not save progress; the mission must be completely successfully in order to complete. The Smuggler class quest The Light Spring on Tatooine is like this. You have to get in, fight past the trash, confront and NPC then fight and defeat that NPC and another one who was there... It's a pretty cool fight, but if you die, you have to start at the beginning and do it all over again. Can be frustrating, yes, but that's how it works.
  21. If you are level 50 and want to max companion affection, simply do the Belsavis daily quests. They are a goldmine for companion affection. In fact, for female Sith Inquisitors, it's about the ONLY way to get Ashara to 10K because she does not have a "love" gift for females. (She hates us. It's so bad I wrote a guide on how to get the most affection from her doing dailies.) And you do not have to actually do the missions with that particular companion; simply have them out while picking up the mission, make the convo choices that they like, pull out your preferred companion then go do the mission. (Just be sure to pull out the companion you're working on for turn in because some of them have extra convo choices on turn in.) Some companions, like Talos for SIs, you can max in just a few days doing this because he loves anything to do with the Imperial Reclamation Service and there's a couple of missions that give massive amounts of affection for him (~300 affection per convo choice). And if you're worried about LS/DS points, there are no LS/DS choice missions. Just tailor your responses for that companion for the duration (for instance, both Talos and Ashara want you to be "nice" and kowtow to a Lord Synar in northern Belsavis when most people's inclination is to scratch her face off for the way she treats you. One of these days I *will* kill that... well you know.) Yes, I know dailies are boring, but given the alternative is to spend a boatload of credits on a seemingly meaningless gesture, I prefer to do my dailies, get credits, and the affection from my companions.
