  1. I returned to the game after some time away, and noticed a problem with all of my characters. This involves targeting the nearest enemy. Prior to taking a break, I did not have a problem with this. Now after coming back, when I want to target an enemy, I have to manually select that target on each and every enemy. Most of the times, the game will target an enemy that is either behind me or off in a distance. In my general settings, I have the box checked to target the nearest enemy, but I still have to manually select them. As I said, I did not have this problem prior to taking a short break from the game. I have talked to other players who have the same problem. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED PLEASE!
  2. Hopping up and down is not what I'm talking about. In order to complete that mission, you must be able to jump FORWARD, not just UP. The problem with that part of the quest is not being able to jump far enough. Please leave all comments for the developers, as they are the ones I have directed this issue toward.
  3. I need to address one of the most hated aspects of this game. That is having to jump over open spaces, such as in the Raid on the Arcanum. I have discussed this with other members of my guild, and found that they hate the jumping, too! We are suggested (on Duffy's page dealing with this mission) to use the rocket boosts to get over those open spaces, but they don't do anything but make you go UP, NOT FORWARD! After trying to complete this quest for the 20th time, I am writing this to the developers, as submitting an in-game ticket does nothing but get the polite "we're sorry that you're not happy with the game" response. This game is supposed to be FUN, but when you CANNOT complete a mission because you can't jump over an open space, it ceases to be fun. I cannot complete this mission, and cannot progress forward past this point. I want to start the seeker droid missions so that I can dig up parts to the speeder that I want. The next mission is a '4-man" where you have to jump again, from object to object. Please refer back to my last paragraph. My suggestion is this -- DO AWAY with the childish jumping requirement. People don't like missions with jumping in it. I don't mind a difficult boss. I (and many others) just want the jumping part GONE.
  4. Since I have started playing this game, I have been very impressed with most of the content, which I am sure took a lot of careful thought and planning. And some obvious artistic abilities. The one area that has been a constant pain in the neck (not to include undue stress) is the fact that our developers have put so many over-powered elites on every mission. By over-powered, I mean an NPC that has three times the HP that I have. This is LUDICROUS to ask me to kill anything more than double my HP!! I have seen on some later missions that our developers have put not one, but sometimes TWO and THREE such npc's guarding an object that I must investigate or take to complete that part of the mission. It is STUPID to expect this of us!! Now, I am sure that some braying ******* on these forums will tell me that I need to learn how to play my character, or some other form of bullying on their part. I keep updating to the best armor and gear I can obtain on the GTN, and have no problem with my rotation, so that is not the issue. The issue is that of our developers putting NPC's in my path that takes 2 players to defeat. I suggest that our developers drop the HP on the NPC's we have to face, or perhaps allow us to pull out two of our companions (or the ability to heal our characters even if we are a DPS-oriented and spec'd character). I left this game for 8 months because of this issue. I am sure that many others have done the same. I say this because when the game first came out, a lot more people were playing the game. Now we are down to 1 PVE server for the west coast. That should tell you something. Fix this issue or you will lose my business again permanently.
  5. Since this game has been set up for us to complete individual missions, the game developers really need to fix the mobs we face a little less powerful. As it stands now, it doesn't matter which companion I pull out. I usually end up spending more for repairs than what I receive as credits for completing the mission. To be quite honest, the game developers went way overboard on the strength of the people we have to kill, and to reasonably expect me to kill 5 or 6 elites on an alleged solo mission is a bit asinine. I left this game once because of this. If this isn't fixed, I will do the same again.
  6. Not trying to solo group quests, genius. Just been on several missions that brought on the issue I was asking the developers to change.
  7. Your post shows you are nothing more than an elitist SNOB. I am not an elitist; just a guy who wants to enjoy the game. It is *******s like you that keep the good people from trying to get some reasonable changes made to the game. FO
  8. First of all, I'd like to give the game developers a pat on the back for all the hard work and imagination put into this game. You folks have really made an interesting game that is, for the most part, a lot of fun to play. HOWEVER, the issue with severely over-powered elites is a major drawback to the fun we would otherwise have. Let's get serious, folks. To expect a person to take out an elite with twice your own HP is a bit unrealistic. even IF you gave us powers like Force Stasis (or other spells for other classes)! And to put two of those over-powered elites in the same group with a strong person is even more unrealistic! This doesn't include the number of credits we have to spend after fighting these guys, either. I have (lately) been on 2m heroics where I not only had to face multiple elites, but also a Champion in order to complete the heroic. It is totally unreasonable to ask this of a player!! Therefore, in order to make the game more enjoyable, you seriously need to knock down the health of the elites. I could go back to playing WoW, where the playing field is a little bit more easy on the nerves (and blood pressure), but I really like this game. I suggest that, rather than all the (what I feel are) mickey-mouse fixes, you need to address this issue that other people feel should be corrected, also!
