Pretty much this. It took me a while to get my columi main hand drop but when I did I was happy I finally got purple bolts. With this change now anyone with 120k can get purple and I for one am happy for them.

I like the decision as well. The post right before yours however saying that there could be an option to share your info with the group would be cool as well. That way doing a FP with friends and you can talk trash to each other on dps would be fun, but like he said, just having the option to share it would be cool I think.

From my experience I played a mercenary to 50, then leveled an operative to 50. I liked both but then decided I wanted a tank because I could never find one for hardmodes, so I said screw it, gonna roll my own. Even though I already have a 50 merc I decided to go the powertech route and even though I am only lvl 29 I have to admit, I absolutely love it. It depends on your playstyle though, if you like to range dps or even heal then go merc or sorcerer. Now if you want a force user I would suggest sorcerer, they are pretty good at range dps and even better at heals(if that's what you like to do). But if you like to jump into a group of 5 mobs, Death from above an entire group and pounce on the elites or drag some poor saps in the acid pool in Huttball I would suggest powertech. I have never felt more pwerful lol. Of course if you are playing republic and have no idea what I am talking about sorry, I only know Empire.

This is exactly what some people don't seem to grasp. Now there are games out there that still stick to the original formula. Doesn't EQ have now a timeless server that pretty much starts from the beginning? Haven't researched it but isn't Vanguard still up and running? Lots of people here talk about EVE. There are options out there, if this isn't your cup of tea move on or check back if BW decides to release headbanging content. There's really nothing else to say. I'll be sticking around though because I like content I can clear in a couple hours and still make it to bed by a reasonable time, but that's just me I guess.

Can't speak for most people defending the game but in my case I am always at work when I post or look on the forums. When I am at home, I'm playing unless I need to research something in my class forums.

Oh please I don't ever want to see 2 hours of trash pulls for ANYTHING in this game. I just think maybe people should wait and see If the next few raids they release will ramp up the difficulty. In my opinion the first couple raids in WoW weren't hard either, they just required 40 people which was a pain all in itself for many reasons. Just give it time, maybe they will release some head banging content on nightmare, maybe they won't we just don't know.

They should just make up a new mode called Insanity Mode. In this mode, Bosses have triple the amount of hit points and have an enrage timer of 5 minutes, and can one shot non tanks and 3 shot regular tanks unless the enitre raid stands in a small green circle in less than 5 seconds and stays there for at least 10. Also the last boss has a .01% chance to drop a gold plated Mount and a 10% chance to drop your very own HK 47 pet that follows you around fleet and randomly spouts HK-47-speak at you. Would that be good enough for the hardcore raiders out there?

If you are reffering to the one with the uzi looking barrell you can buy it from the Taris vendor I believe. I loved the graphic and the sound was more muzzled, less lazer pew pew and sounded more automatic rifle pew pew lol.

I never did this even on WOW. If I made a toon then that was my toon, my class, my adventure, my blood, sweat and tears. I would never in a million years change my Chiss Operative after completing his story into anything else. Not even my lvl 23 sorc or 50 female BH either, each character has an attachment to me in some shape or form. Which Is why I am holding off on rolling a Powertech, want to see what new combo options they will have before I do it.

Like the changes as well. Thank you BW for allowing me to get rid of the flashing blue lights all over my screen. Oddly enough though, I am also using the timers now..I kinda like it.

I am just so glad I can change that god awful blue flash on all my buttons finally and see my abilities when they are rdy without waiting 1 second after the GCD. I am so glad they listened to the masses on this so quickly.

When in ROTJ, Han Solo is planting charges on Endor when the Imperials bust in and the one guy says hold it, then Han tosses his pack right at him and knocks him into a pit in the bunker? The sound the guy makes is classic. Ayyyaaaaa.

I really have to disagree with you as far as the PVE front bro. I have an OP and I get invited to a lot of raids. I know there is no damage meter but I see the numbers I punch out on a boss when I pop trinket and catch all my cooldowns perfect and it is just so fun. As far as survivability I think it just boils down to knowing the encounter. I've done multiple flashpoints with 2 melee dps and it went along just fine. As far as PVP i wouldn't know but if you are melee I would think you would have to keep a head on the swivel mentality and try and stick with groups to maximize your effectiveness.

Just curious, what made you pick Metal Gear Solid 3? Did you think that was the best Metal Gear? Also I know this is your opinion but Ocarina of Time should be there before Twilight Princess lol.

I would have to say the easily accessable raids. I don't pvp but being able to get people off the street and clear a dungeon in a little more than 2 hours with almost a guarantee you will get something (at least tokens) makes it very enjoyable. As far as lack of grouping, my friend and I decided to make a channel, we call it JawaJuice. We pretty much add anyone we group with that is a good player and cool person, raids, Heroics, PVP, etc. Even if they are in guilds already they still join and on some nights it is actually more popping than General chat. Just something for people to think about, lack of group...start a channel.

What I find strange is the multitude of NPCs during your 50 level adventure have many different types of cool looking gear. Why the heck if that design was already made did they not include a statless but moddable version of it as a drop or craft. For example, Thana on Taris, the evil Sith that was your rival the entire stretch of the planet had a totally sweet looking matching black outfit. My first playthrough I just assumed it existed somewhere eventually, unfortunately it didn't. I just think not all I guess, but at least 75% of the gear you see NPCs wear you should also find in the game world. Characters like Baras and such, the big quest NPCs should have a look all their own, but a questgiver you see for a few levels on one planet and won't ever see again has that nice bounty hunter outfit that you can never wear. It just baffles me.

It reminds me too much if Iraq....so of course I hate it. Hoth on the other hand is o.k., as long as I don't stare at the monitor for too long at any given time.

I have an Operative too buddy. And the only reason I am not ripping my hair out is because I have been leveling it the past few weeks and I have muscle memory on my rotation. I can't see if they are usuable mind you so I lose DPS or valuable heal time pressing a mouse click or key on my binds before realizing I can't even use the skill lol. I haven't even tried my merc yet but not looking forward to HM EV tonight.

I have a 49 Operative. Some skills even though off cooldown are not usable unless I have a thing called tactical adavantage up or I can't backstab unless I am behind the target. Even if these things are not on cooldown I may not meet the requirements to use them, while the GCD is going off I cannot see if I can use any of these abilities until a good 1 second after the GCD pops. I lose DPS because i use my energy free blaster shots for a filler until my instants come off cooldown. Before I could see if I was able to use backstab because as I was firing, the backstab button lit up and I knew I could use it. Unless I stop firing for 1 second at least I won't be able to tell if my I am able to use backstab until all my skills light up. And this is the exact same for when I try to spam heal a tank, I have no idea If the instant heal is rdy until I don't do any actions for a full second after the GCD. So yeah, this is bad for me. From what I can tell I am not the only one who doesn't like this.
