Yea it is ranting. I am pissed I spent 80 bucks on a game that is so terrible. So I am venting my 80 dollars worth of anger in the forum.. so maybe they can get a clue and fix their game. but after the disasterpiece they had called Failhammer.. I do not have much hope.

Who ever said you can't play what you enjoy? Go play this turd of a video game if it makes you happy. People play farmville and I think that is a terrible game too. People like different things. Some people like play a game riddled with bugs, on a terrible engine that can't handle a mmo sized player base and a serious disconnect of what needs to be done to move the game forward. More power to those people. I, on the other hand, refuse to pay for something so terrible. It is all personal opinion.. no ones opinion is better than another. What you spend your money on is your business. I just prefer to not spend my money on broken things.

Oh I did. I even made some money on my way out. So this game wasn't a total loss. Just funny it is so badly programmed it is actually letting a dead account post. Just another quality design feature from Biofailure.

We could post stats, evidence, etc.. but the mods will delete it like they did so many posts in this thread. They are heavily moderating anything negative to try downplay the fact this game is hemorrhaging subs.

You didn't answer my question. The problem is because you can't. You can not logically explain paying for a broken product that does not work as described. The day you can answer my question logically.. Is the day I will resubscribe to this "mmo".

How much are they paying you to write this? I know for a fact they have people from BW posting in threads such as these to make it seem a lot less drastic as it is.... So my question remains.. How much do they pay PR people, such as yourself? And if you are not a PR person.. How can you logically explain paying for a broken item. Leave out the fact of what it is, etc... and reasonably explain to me how you can justify spending money on something that does not work as intended.

I just can't get over the fact you are justifying the cost for something you admit is broken. I will give you my paypal and you can just handm e 15 a month. I mean.. it isn't that much.. no big deal. I will do little to almost nothing for it and you can pray one day I might come visit. But just keep paying me blindly till that day happens. Just amazes me you are willing to pay for a broken product. People like you are the reason they think its ok to release games unfinished. They know some idiot somewhere will keep paying to play regardless of the state its in when its released.

Do what I did. Call and ask for a refund and for them to close your account. They will refund and close.

They adjusted the servers in early Jan which corresponds to what they said. You will also notice a huge decrease around Jan 20.. which we also knew. They then jacked the servers back up to make it look like the population was growing. Which we saw when it happened. Even with them tuning the servers to make it look like more people.. the pop is still dwindling off. Now if we go by the graph.. the pop has dropped by almost half. If you look at the weekly graph it is losing about 50 each week. At this rate the game has 6 more weeks left in it. While I do no believe that.. the graph has yet to hit a plain. The decrease has been fairly constant. This leads me to believe the graph is probably pretty accurate. So if we go with the anecdotal evidence.. The sky is actually falling.. What real proof do we have other than our theories? It is all math related.. but what if our math is wrong? Anything is potentially possible if you look at it from that perspective. Again with the educated guess.. just like the stars being real is an educated guess.

They do not provide data so all we have is anecdotal evidence. And while it is anecdotal.. it is also what is happening. Try to down play it by saying numbers are not real because they did not come from the source is .. well.. stupid. Those sites are usually really close.. they also correspond to what I am see'ing in game. So with that anecdotal evidence we can make a pretty solid claim. By your assertion.. we could say stars do not exist because we have never been there to confirm.. Well.. Sometimes you have to make an educated guess.. which I understand is harder for some than others.. but you seem like a bright chap... do the math.

The guild I am in was doing Nightmare mode. We can't even muster enough to do Normal anymore. My guild of 200 is down to 5 people who log on. Most went back to the games they came from. Most of the people I played with have quit. My sub ran out yesterday and I won't be coming back. I have played most MMo's since EQ. This game while great 1-49.. is just terrible at end game. The thing that killed it for me is they had 2 months to do good fixing in design.. not bug fixes.. all they manage to do was destroy ilum more and knee jerk nerf classes with out actually fixing the problem with them. From a design stand point.. They are failing miserably. I can not justify giving them money to keep failing. The complete LACK of doing anything about cheats or cheaters also has me concerned. The one time they did something.. they banned for 7 days and let the people keep the items that they cheated... Really? That right there tells me they are hurting for money. I tried praying for WoW to get better.. kept paying them money.. It never really did and is now Kung Fu PokePanda Land... I just won't do the same song and dance again. Good Riddance.

And by your sig.. you have never seen anything over 8v8. Keep on preaching when you know nothing about end game or massive battles. Keep paying them and when you get to where everyone else is.. you will see what we were talking about. Then you realize you been paying that long for a piece of poo poo program.

I said how they cheat and my post got deleted. Just google "SWTOR Hack" and there is a nice fat long list.

The PvPers are neglected. A lot. You should have learned this lesson several MMOs ago, sadly.

teleport hacks / speed hacks / chest farming / space combat bots / pvp bots / gcd hacks... All of these exist and a few others I am not willing to talk about.
