    With every balance change comes an influx of premades. Not to roll pugs, but to gear their alts and FOTM's. It's the nature of gear based MMO's and will always continue. This is what guild mates are for. P.S. There is no crying in SWtOR
  2. People seem to forget that WoW at launch had very little endgame content, it was built over time. BC launched with 13 dungeons and Kara. it took almost 2 years for them to finish adding the raid dungeons. Wrath when launched, had a massive patch download before you could actually play the game and came with 13 dungeons and a reused lev 60 raid Nax. it took over 6 months for them to drop Ulduar, another 5 for ToC and almost a year for ICC. The problem with this game, however, is there are no "sandbox" elements. The so called "planets", are just way to small. No point in even exploring a square, with no access to certain areas.

  4. The larger problem seems to be that players suggestions go unanswered and that communication is nonexistent between the Dev's and player base. Also with communication, most requests aren't heard, ie: sorc/sage nerfs to CC and aoe Knockback. I can't remember a thread where a Sorc/Sage asked for these. Or a Merc/Commando for that matter (a close range root to a range class?). The changes they made make absolutely no sense what-so-ever. It makes most of the player base wonder if they even play their own game. The balance was perfect in 1.5.1, 1.2 was a joke, 1.3 didn't address any of the player issues, and 1.4 is even worse than 1.2. They nerfed PT's because of forum cries over what a faceroll class they where and then proceded to buff focus/rage Sent/Maras where you need 4 buttons bound to accomplish 6k smashes...pure genius. Then we get to the lack of proper testing on the PTS that isn't made Public by the lack of character copies. A proposed "patch" with this many game changing nerfs/buffs should have been tested for a couple of months, not 2 weeks. It's the same old corner cutting, rush, rush, rush every update that gets them into trouble. Bad coding, poorly designed class changes and the lack of understanding critical player feedback (and unwillingness to bend and admit they might be wrong) that makes this even harder for the player base to care about communiction. What's in the proposed patch notes, stays in the final patch notes with no changes.....not even once.
  5. Bwahahahaha.....you sir take the cake, and need a lesson in class mechanics. As a combat Sent, I'm looking forward to only one knockback from a merc/commando as MS roots it's victim. So the problem is.......wait for it...............2 roots don't make a right bottom line is, with 2 roots and on demand slow plus force stasis, the Merc/Commando with his 1 KB and a useless root is going to have to out DPS the mara/sent.
  6. It's not even close to an imbalance as everyone has 12 character slots now. It's your choice to use only one.
  7. I don't know what the solution is, but telling people they can't group in an MMO is WRONG. I only solo queue, from 7pm to 11 on week nights and all day long on the weekends. I win, I lose, but what I take from a loss is vital experience. Playing against the premades of Physics, Whoops and Sentinels HAS made me a better player, not great, but I can hold my own.

  11. Same can be said for Sorc/Sage. 30m ranged class that had it's stun reduced to 10m. And why do Snipers get to keep their AOE knockback?

    The real imblance is the fact that there are not enough elite PvP'rs on one server for ranked wz's to pop. THE END.

  14. Considering the F2P person will be greatly out geared, they will be the ones most likely to "bail on their team".

    I have noticed on my Sent that MS does seem to hit people pretty far away.

    Not true, I single target damage in all wz's with an occasional force in balance and pull 500 to 600k.

The biggest problems are: 1) TTK went way down after 1.2 2) After 1.2 there are basically 5 tiers of gear a)Recruit=centurion b)Battlemaster=champion c)Battlemaster (Augmented)=battlemaster d)War Hero=battlemaster(augmented) e)War Hero (Augmented)=war hero Basically the same gear grind as before with a little less grind
  22. The 1 point in Mend (for a sage) is not just a useless heal, it is the reason you can cleanse negative physical effects such as fire.
  23. Needs to have the respawn point out of the end zones
