  1. Sorry for not explaining what I mean about no endgame. I don't care much about OPS or FP's, but what I care about is and open, lively world that I can explore, minigames, Open World PvP, RvR and so on. That's endgame for me But SWTOR doesn't fulfill that...
  2. It's going really bad in my opinion. People can scream "woah!! 300 people on fleet yay!!" as much as they want, but that's all due to character transfers. I was a huge fan of this game and protected and ignored every little things like this game has no endgame and horrible pvp. I thought it would be better in the coming months but I guess I was wrong.. I unsubbed three days ago, and all my friends has too. This game caters to the "niche" market.
  3. No I will not. Patch 1.3 offers too little to make me come back. What I want is a major overhaul on Space Combat and OWPvP
  4. Revolutionary space content... big words he's using here!
  5. I just unsubscribed from SWTOR today. PRIMARY REASON FOR LEAVING TOR: Customer Service MORE DETAILED REASON FOR LEAVING TOR: Inadequate customer service, unacceptable response times, etc. COMMENT BOX: The game overall is badly managed and an intolerable amount of dishonesty has be exhibited between the developers of TOR and the playerbase these issues extend to but are not limited to: -The advertisement of the game at launch based on hi-resolution textures that were not available until patch 1.2. Also the existence of a "high" resolution setting in the UI that was really just another medium setting. -The pull of ranked PvP moments before the feature's promised release and just after a surge of PVP re-subscribers. After this was done, the playerbase was left in the dark as to the future of ranked PvP. No viable official statement was released and the developer response was a poorly written redirect to a developer blog. -The hype of in-game systems such as UI customization that should have been added with the game launched. UI customization was paraded around like it was some sort of innovative system that was never done before. The same UI customization options exist in almost every other MMO that was launched (including Guildwars 1). -Bad management of server populations and transfers. -Poor customer service and "disappearing" tickets. I once received a developer response that was barely in english, which made it obvious that helpdesk and CS support was outsourced to cheap areas. -Overall bad management of the game in combination with EA's reputation for winning the "golden poo" award of 2012 by the consumerist. -The strange disappearance of the "unsub" button for several days. ____________________________ The above factors and repeated ethical offenses against players have caused me to unsub on the virtue of being treated fairly as a customer. You can have a great game, but that doesn't mean anything when you can trust the developer behind the game. The CS treatment and Bioware/EA/Mythic management of this game has been so incredible bad and dishonest that not only will I unsubscribe from the "TORtanic" with over 100 days left on my subscription (and a free month) -I will also never play, buy, or support a game with an EA or Bioware label ever again. I feel that Bioware/EA/Mythic has done a disservice to its playerbase, the starwars franchise, and its own integrity as a company with the treatment and mismanagement of this project. ________________________________________ It's ok to attempt to create an innovative product and struggle with its development of success. But one thing that you cannot do is mistreat, lie, scam, or keep your playerbase in the dark. I think the recent actions of Bioware/Mythic/EA has crossed this line with many players in SWTOR, resulting in dwindling subscriptions and severs that are floating around in cyberspace like space debris. These players, much like myself, are near impossible to get back once cross. I am an MMO veteran with over 10 years of experience in playing online games. I am no expert, but I have seen the rise and fall of many MMOs. In all my time playing online games I have never seen worse management in a mainstream MMO outside of Aion:Tower of Eternity, in which the game was improperly westernized and failed due to NCsoft mismanaging player-dev relationships and "trying to fit a square peg in circular hole" by failing to properly customize Aion to the specs that the western community desired. Looking at the many "leak" sites that give insight to the development of TOR, I see many similar issues and a predetermined path that TOR seems to be railed on despite whether the playerbase likes it or not. Let's face it, the game has a number of massive issues. But community distrust and the lack of Bioware/EA's ability to create loyalty to anything other than the starwars label is one of these issues. Anyway, this is my 2 cents. Well I should say 0 cents now as I am now voting with my wallet. Unless radical change and the face of EA/Bioware does a complete turn around, this game is doomed for failure and will probably hallmark the electronic gaming world as the largest gaming catastrophe to EVER happen. ***** Anyway, if you left SWTOR what were the reasons? I just thought it would be interesting to see why other people jumped ship.
  6. WoW is almost 8 years old... its expected that subs will drop after so many years. There are still 8 million people playing it, which say something. They may have done a couple of bad moves in the past years but its still superb compared to any other MMO today.
  7. That's why I love their games. They don't reinvent the wheel but they refine and polish the hell of their games. If you look at Starcraft they took ideas from other games and improved upon it, trying to avoid its flaws. The same goes for WoW. I remember loving the concept of EQ, but WoW just made it look silly in comparison. I don't expect Blizzard to innovate with Titan, but improving what's good and what's bad in WoW, taking ideas from other MMOs and improving the hell out of it!
  8. I just unsubbed. Wanna know why? - The game isn't fun anymore - It lacks standard features like chattbubbles, LFG and achievements. - The levelig is extremely linear, boring and repetive. VO was great for a moment, but it became tiresome and frustrating after a while. - Too little sandbox elements (I want a free roaming, persistent world with NO LOADING SCREENS.) - PvP is okay but not good enough (Needs Arenas, Ranked PvP, lacks hugely on OWPvP cause I have never met one single sith on my server, and yes I'm playing on Freedon Nadd (Most populated server in EU). - Space game sucks balls - No user generated content (Impossible to make your own fun) - Classes are almost the same (Was shocked that a couple of spells where the same as my Jedi Guardian on my Jedi Consular. Like push enemy backwards and so on. Litte diversity). Yes you have a whole new story to play through but that's about it. - No day and night sycles.. what the hell? (Makes the world feel more alive, which it isn't right now.) And I was reading on darth hater that they wont put it in because it would be too much work for them. Talk about lazyness. - Planets feels dead - The fleet is boring and horrible in design. And it's instanced too, thats what I hate most. - Armor design looks awful. I could go on forever... Waiting for Titan to get announced, it will crush all competition! Blizzard has probalby played SWTOR and listed all it's flaws, and they will make sure it won't happen with them. They have much experience in MMO gaming (Just admit it, Blizzard is the king when it comes to MMOs. Just look at WoW. 8 years old and still has 8 million subscribers. It's amazing if you ask me).
  9. The only way I can think of this being implemented is making elevators without LOADING SCREENS, fly your own ship to each planet and land WITHOUT loading screens. I'm just saying it, loading doesn't belong to a good MMO. I hate it so much.
  10. I'm tired of instanced areas. Tired of all the loading screens. Tired of the world feeling so small. I miss the feeling of having a HUGE world to explore, with no loading. A world where you can walk for hours through multiple continents. What do you think? Should SWTOR be more sandboxy or keep staying to the Themepark formula? Since I can't see any great sandbox features in this game right now.
  11. I know it's going to be very casual friendly, but isn't SWTOR extremely casual too? I don't mind casual games, as long as it's fun at has a lot of sandbox elements and a couple of themepark features like story (but not as intensive storydriven as SWTOR) and so on. I miss the feeling of a huge open world, and with all these "instanced" planets the world just feels small... and I don't want to be forced to "go to this planet and do X and Y", I want more options, which SWTOR doesn't deliver for me right now. I loved EQ and loved WoW even more, mostly because I got so immersed inn it's world. But it has grown old now. I have faith in Bioware, and I have no doubt that they will take lessons from wow and improve them drastically.
  12. http://titanfocus.info Titan is my last hope for a good MMORPG. But of course, when 6.3 million already have bought the game someone has to complain
  13. All I'm waiting for now is Blizzards Titan to be announced. I know it will be good SWTOR failed, and we all know that. Lacks way to many standard features and it got way to much themepark and too little sandbox features.
  14. Sounds nice and all, but its too litte too late :/ Blizzards Titan is my last hope in MMO gaming, and I have no doubt they will succeed.
