    You can't unsubscribe from the free 30 days of game time if that's what you're trying to do. Once that 30 days begins it keeps going no matter what you do. You can either use it or waste it. The only way to hold on to those free 30 days is to hold off on entering your game key until you're ready to use that time. But once that key is entered that's it.

    I'm glad they fixed that. I haven't played LotRO since shortly after it launched. Competition over farming nodes was a bit frustrating back then in some areas. I like the way that AoC handles the nodes as well. You can get about 20 hits off of a fully refreshed node so there's really plenty to go around. But so far I've never seen more than one person at a time farming a node.

    At the expense of others. I see this every day in RL as well. It's selfish behavior both in and out of game.

    Perhaps you've read too much into some of the responses (or at least mine). Just because this sort of thing has happened to me in nearly every MMO that I've played does not mean that I think it's OK. I don't find the behavior acceptable. My main comment was that in this game it's not entirely frustrating because the mission nodes respawn rather fast compared to some other games.

    Another dime? You shouldn't have been charged anything yet. The game comes with 30 days paid time. They don't actually charge you for subscription until after the first 30 days.

    This has happened to me in every MMO that I've played. Thankfully, most of the nodes don't take very long to respawn. It happened to me while on a mission the other day but honestly, the wait for the mission node to respawn wasn't stressful. It spawned again long before the mobs.

    Yeah, most likely. I was more addressing the OP's concerns than the reality of the situation.

    I agree. Besides, how do they know you're not going to roll a new alt and add to the starter area population? Just because you have a character over 10 means nothing. Right now I have my main at 15, an alt at 5 and when I log in next I may go ahead and roll my next alt.

    Count me in on this as well. Mako looks awful in the helmet I have her in now but the stats are too good to pass on.

    I haven't tried it yet, still having fun mostly running around solo for now and taking the odd Heroic group on the fly, but it sounds like a system that former FFXI players will be familiar with.

    Have you checked your order status online? They may have shipped it without notifying you or maybe the email went to your spam filter? Hopefully?

    Yeah, there's a handful of Desh nodes on Dromund Kaas that show up on the map, I can see them on the ground, but they simply don't register on mouseover. It's the same nodes every time. I wonder if they simply don't disappear after being used like they're supposed to.

    For me? Yes, SWtOR has already eclipsed WoW. That's not to say that I won't use this last WoW time card I have sitting here on my desk at some point in the future. I do like WoW. It's a fun time killer. It's never been my favorite MMO though.

    They shipped my CE on the 15th and it's scheduled to arrive on the 20th. If all goes well.

    Why would Trandoshans make boots? Or why would someone else make humanoid boots for a Trandoshan? I guess it's just to fill out the armor sets but still...

    I wish it were limited only to MMO gamers, or even gamers in general.

    Hopefully they'll have transfers available by then. If not they'll all have to roll again if they want to switch to an Oceanic server.

    I agree. But I think they should wait until they start selling there directly before making any servers for the region.
