  1. I have a level 50 on the Empire side that has slicing, and would still have been broke if I spent the 8k on the speeder at 25. But I was able to shell out the 40k, get my skills and still have a little left over. Thos that say they have 100k and such at 25 are not saying everything. That is either an alt that you just use for slicing or something of the sort. If you were playing normally you would not have that much money at 25. I'm talking about alts. Yes, I guess on the Empire I could transfer some funds over and get a different looking mount for an alt. But why? I could save 8k and I will with every alt I make. Now on the Republic side, I have friends I play with. Wehn we all got to 25, guess who was the first one with a speeder? You guessed it, me! Actually one of my friends is nearly 40 on his main charcter and hasn't bought the speeder yet (don't ask me how he has had the patience to run everywhere.) He says speeders are overrated. I had the EQ2 CE... it was garbage. All I remember is having a pet dragon in my house... that is all! Actually, The EQ2 CE is the CE that made me hate on all CE's! I asked for the SWTOR CE because it was the only thing I asked for Christmas. The speeder alone is what made it worth it for me, and you're all doggin it LOL
  2. Every time I get another character to 25 and don't have to shell out another 8k I thank my wife for getting me the CE. I've had a few other CE's and have never had something so useful come with it as in-game items. The other stuff is cool too, but 8k on a level 25 character seems like a good bit. Gotta love the Holo dancer and the flare gun is cool too although I hardly ever use them. I still haven't even looked at the statue LOL
  3. How rough is it? I posted this in the new player section as well so my apologies if you're seeing this twice:
  4. Thanks! I tried Directive 7 with a level 50 healer and another Sniper... however, we couldn't find a tank.... We got to this boss that was 3 droids and couldn't beat it with a companion tank. Another question... was that Datacron that gives +10 to each stat hard to get?
  5. That's excellent info, thank you! I forgot about level 50 dailies! Are the level 50 FP's the ones I got at like level 48 or so? Directive 7, etc?
  6. Hey all. I just got to 50 and I know I'm about to be overwhelmed in what I have to do in order to sucessfully join PUG's for FP's and possibly Operations. I know, being in the right guild would be best but I'm in a guild of friends and wouldn't want to leave it. So, I just turned 50 last night and logged off. I have many things to do but hopefully I can get some guidance here in what order to do them and what I can do to improve my character. This is my list of things to do: 1. Buy new skills and speeder - I have the cash to buy all my level 50 skills and a cheapo speeder. My ultimate goal is to get that 1.5 mil Ferrari speeder. 2. Get all the Datacrons - I'm not looking forward to this. 3. Finish up all remaining quests - I skipped Taris and Alderan and also have some quests left on Voss and Corellia. 4. Get geared up - I want better gear to do hardmode FP's and Ops. I don't want to be turned away from PUG's because of gear nor cause my team to fail because of my gear. I guess that's it for now. My main concern is that I don't want to do PvP warzones in order to get geared up, which is what I heard is the best thing to do at level 50. Is it as bad as I'm thinking? Or am I fretting for nothing. I don't like grinding out pvp. Thanks for listening. Any feedback is appreciated!
  7. Ok I understand that this is a hard fight... but you guys should most certainly beat it. We were able to beat it with: 50 - Assassin Tank (a fresh 50 with no gear) 44 - Sniper DPS 43 - Sorceror DPS 50 - Companion Healer The trick to the boss is, you HAVE to intterupt that nasty spell (I forgot what it's called) Drain something maybe? Anyway, you should be interrupting every single thing he casts. Rotate, communicate, and it turns an impossible battle into something doable. Now the problem we had was that the quest itself was bugged. Only one of us could loot the boxes and the rest were crap outta luck.
  8. Is anyone from the Corellian Run server that would like to take a stab at regular Red Reaper tonight? I really don't feel like standing in the fleet shouting LFG so I figured I'd try this (I know it's a long shot.) I'm a level 44 (almost 45) Sniper, so that makes me purely DPS. I have a guildmate that would be willing to help (most likely) that is a Sith Assassin Tank... and I might possibly have a 44 healer friend (Sorc) that would go if available. However, it's hard to gauge what time they'll be on and if they'll be up for it so I'm asking here if anyone is down. If we form a group here first I say let's do it. So if you're from the Corellian Run server and want to run regular Red Reaper (it's level 42ish I think) let me know here. My Sniper's name is Blood. I'm looking to get in-game tonight at 5:30ish EST. Let me know here or in-game if you're interested in running it. I haven't missed a FP yet and I don't intend to. I probably could've been 50 already but I don't want to miss any content on my first character. Thanks. /1 44 Sniper LF Red Reaper group
  9. That sucks. There have been 3 people in my guild now that have reached level 50. I don't see them on anymore. Hopefully they are just playing alts and waiting for more of us to hit 50... but I have a feeling they are just not interested in playing anymore. Why do people have to rush to 50 and then quit? Lame.
  10. So, going into Athiss for the second time no one had Slicing in the group. The first time I went through my character did Slicing and I felt useful hacking the elevator and getting the shortcut. This time however, no one had slicing but we noticed the quest arrow showed we had to go down the elevator anyway... So we just jumped down. It was easy, there were places to land without getting injured. What's the point to having the slicing there? It's so stupid.
  11. /signed It's hard to find a group for Heroics, but I don't think the LFG tool is as important for that as it is for FP's. At least with Heroics, you can be questing and see the shout for more members or start a group of your own in the zone the heroic is taking place. With FP's you'll have to waste time shouting in the fleet hoping to land in a group or form a good group of your own. I'd rather be questing while LFG than sitting in the fleet LFG.
  12. What about crystals? Those should sell.
  13. What item? What is a Stealth Field Generator?
