What is Biotech?

So I'm nearing level 30 now and I'm getting OWNED as of late as a pure healer. I keep hearing all the other guys brag about their "Death Field" and this and that damage and stuff, and it sounds like they are having NO PROBLEMS leveling by going lightning/madness. Now I must admit... I'm a right as rain in ANY group.. we ran a flashpoint the other night and I had a great group, and I the healing was fantastic.. but trying to solo has become very expensive as I find myself spending a fortune on repairs... I do not want to have to get away from my corruption skills... but if I do.... What is the penalty (if there is one) for resetting your skill tree? Is it as simple as clicking the little X.. and reclicking the other skills? Do you have to pay to redo? Thanks in advance..

Took care of it this morning... went back to Alderan, and noticed I still have one more quest to do at Tatt.. gonna knock it out tonight..

1. Why do they have "mod stations" if it is not needed to modify your equipment? 2. Do you have to fill in all 4 slots for the modification to work i.e. if I just put in ONE component and hit apply, will it work? 3. Can you buy all components for mods off the vendors? Thanks in advance.

So wait.. you're telling me (at level 25 or so) you can take the droid out on missions with you instead of Kheem?

So I just got 28 very much enjoying myself.. my next class quest (along with Kheem) require me to go to Tatt.. should I go there now? Most of the mobs in the areas I've seen are 29-30 in Alderaan. I know I can fly back and forth, just wondering if I should wait until 30 to go, or go now... I welcome your advice, suggestions...
