Some people just don't like sci-fi. I think the big one will be GW2. Same fantasy genre and no sub fees. If its any where as fun as WoW or Rift then I and many others probably won't justify paying a monthly sub to TOR/WoW/Rift.

I think it has to do with the fact that maybe they want to stimulate the economy. This game has easily attainable gear from comms, Flashpoints and pvp. By making this gear harder to get people might actually think about using the GTN for gear and crafters might actually be able to sell **** for once. I always though it was to easy to be self sufficient in this game. I don't think I have had to buy anything on GTN to date and that shouldn't be the case.

My Sniper does sick dmg and can lvl people pretty easily not sure what your problem is.

CRT Still has the some of the best color depth and blackest blacks if you can even find an hd one still in production. The problem with the tech was heat and size of the Cathode Ray Tube.

Congrats SWTOR. I think this game is a blast but I am also easily pleased. I liked AoC, WAR, and RIFT guess I am weird.

I think there may be an issue with 400 series Nvidia cards. Mine hits 90c on this game I had to un oc my card. Every other game it sits at 70c when oced.

Ive waited for CS for my cell phone company and my cable company for 4 to 5 hours before. I just throw it on speaker phone and go about my day.

Its not feasible to find every bug possible with the limited amount of people that beta test. Same thing with exploits, when you have 2 million people playing they will obviously find more bugs and ways to cheat the system then the 1000 or so closed beta testors ever could.

I wonder what time of Day that was That's alot of people at the same time. To bad they cant increase the amount of people in each instance/ phase.

I had to take the OC off my vid card to get this game to run better. Seemed to make my card run hotter then other games.

You know they may have to do this. I was also thinking on servers with low Republic they could allow people from a predefined battle group to zone into the same shard of Illum, would help to keep both sides balanced for that one World PvP zone.

I must be easy to please because I liked both those games and was willing to stick around. Then no one else was and there was no point to play in a ghost town. I think people are impatient these days I played EQ for years and never had a max level character and was quite happy.

I think it depends on what class you play and what side your on. As A Empire Sniper I'm happy but as a Jedi Guard I think it sucks.

This post is madness. Basically every pay to play MMO since 2004 besides Guild Wars and WoW has crashed and burned. If this game fails your going to see even LESS ambitious games because investors and by extension game companies will only fund ventures that they feel are safe bets to make money. This game is an extension of that. Games that tried to be different like Age of Conan with its direction press battle system and WAR focusing almost entirely on pvp and public quests will not be given the green light ever again because those types failed. This is why this game is the way it is. They are playing it safe because any time any one tries something else it seems to fail. There isn't much incentive to break the mold when you could potentially lose millions. you either will get variations on the WoW formula or companies just won't bother making triple A MMO's at all if they keep showing they aren't profitable.

Its because there is probably 200 Imperial to your 50 republic so in total there is probably 150 to 200 per planet shard. Because your repub side is low, doesn't really tell the whole story of how many are on that planet.

But any way I asked if they new about ability lag as well as the animation lag between empire and republic mirrors and this is what the GM said so they are aware and still working on balance changes.
