  1. Anywhere really, it happens 100% of the time when entering new buildings/areas. And it's seemingly random when I'm just running about in the open, even without players there.
  2. forgot to mention that too, mine's exactly the same on my cores
  3. I've just tested optimal defaults in bios, and it's exactly the same but with lower average FPS, because I'm not using my overclock any more obviously. My friend was at my house a few days ago with his laptop, and his laptop doesn't run the game very well but his GPU usage was at a constant 98-100% usage (it's an ATI card, maybe it's a nvidia thing? ;o) Oh, and in some areas, the usage is much better and the game is super smooth. There's a jedi consular/knight starting village and I had a constant 100% usage there, with no spikes, it was lovely. The only thing in my PC that isn't brand new is my hard drive, I'll probably upgrade that soon anyway, but could that be causing fps spikes and instability?
  4. Haha thanks, I like you too I have a 575W toughpower XT, my overclock is at 1.3V, according to HWmonitor it doesn't drop below 1.3V and usually sits around 1.31-1.32 when I'm playing . I'll be back in a minute, I'm rebooting now.
  5. ok, thanks ill try it after this episode of community has finished
  6. sorry, here are my other specs: i5 2500k @ 4.4ghz 8gig ddr3 1600mhz ram p8p67 pro mobo 500gb hdd I have all my settings on low and shadows off, I like games to run as smooth as possible even if it sacrifices high graphics.
  7. Hey, I was wondering if there's any fix for spikey and overall low GPU usage, I don't know whether it's on my side or just a horribly optimised game (I already know it is, but don't know whether this problem is related. I use a 560 GTX Ti, latest drivers. I get a constant 110fps standing still, every few minutes it'll drop to 30 and back up, but as soon as I start moving around to kill things and quest, this happens: http://i40.tinypic.com/1zfldhs.png . As you can see, there's a section 3/4 of the way through which shows me standing still in the game, then as soon as I move, it spikes all the time and every little spike you see, my fps drops to 30 fps and back up again, which causes it to jitter and freeze every couple of seconds.
