  1. That's true, but that may not always be the case. I do hope that our old companions will be used more in future stories.
  2. I recently did the quest "A Padawan No More". I was testing out the various dialogues and ended up losing Ashara. I was testing the confrontation dialogue and expected more dialogue when instead she walked away and the quest ended abruptly. It happened so abruptly that when I hit escape it was already too late. I was rather upset by this as Ashara was my favorite companion during the class storyline and wanted her back. I opened a ticket to reset the quest and was told it wasn't possible. This needs to be changed. It should be possible to reset this quest especially since it's one of only a few where you can lose the companion. It's the ONLY one in which it's not immediately obvious that you're about to lose your companion. First, I didn't intend to use that dialogue tree to begin with, I was just curious to see where each dialogue tree went but was unable to escape out of it due to it's rather abrupt and unexpected ending. Second, in that dialogue tree I expected a confrontation in the dialogue not an abrupt ending. There's no warning whatsoever you're about to lose the companion. I respectfully ask that Bioware make it possible to reset this quest for those who have already done it and add a warning that particular dialogue will end in losing the companion for those who do it in the future. Before someone mentions it because I know they will. Yes I know there's a way to summon them. But summoning them changes nothing. As far as the game is concerned the companion is no longer part of the story and they will be excluded in any future dialogue that may include that companion.
  3. If it's automatic it sure would have been nice to have been informed of that change. Or perhaps they did in the tutorial, but when I clicked the tutorial thing all it did was remove most of my abilities and no tutorial window popped up as normally happens. I didn't know why that happened so I simply disabled the tutorial. Whatever the case may be I believe this is by far the buggiest expansion they have released.
  4. Actually, I've seen one in nearly every zone I've been to so far.
  5. I've asked this several times in game, but no one ever bothers to answer. The question is simple, is training automatic? If so why is there the occasional training npc in the new areas? I've tried googling for the answer but there's nothing. So would someone mind giving me a definitive answer? I have checked at the trainers and there's never anything to train, but when I look under "show all" there's usually a long list of abilities to train at the next level, but I get to the next level and nothing to train again.
  6. I have a Sith Inquisitor who hasn't trained any new skills for several levels. Each time I've gone to the trainer it showed no new abilities to train. By the time I got to level 59 I was getting highly suspicious so I checked for abilities that aren't yet trainable and it showed me a whole bunch of abilities that would be trainable at level 60. Well, I got to level 60 and those abilities were now showing as trainable at level 61. So basically I can't train any new abilities because the trainer keeps showing them as trainable at next level, then the next level, then the next level, etc., etc. without ever letting me train anything.
  7. I'd really like to get this done, it's literally been in my quest log since not long after the gsi was added and I never get a group to complete it. Nobody does this content anymore. GSI isn't popular to begin with and getting a group together who's at the same point just isn't happening. I think at this point it should be made to be solo. Actually I can do all the combat stuff solo just fine, it's the puzzles that require a full group in The Shroud Revealed that is stopping me from completing this series of quests.
  8. Same here, while my affection with c2 wasn't quite maxed, it was very nearly so. It takes a whole lot of gifts to get c2's affection up so I'm not really happy about having it set back to 0.
  9. It's in the codex under Persons of Note.
  10. Some companions who are supposed to dual wield and have slots for two weapons can't equip a second weapon.
  11. I have this issue as well, on him as well as a couple other characters who are supposed to dual wield.
  12. I have a question about some of my companions. Some of them have two weapon slots but can't equip a weapon in the second slot. Is this a bug or what? Edit: I notice that in the description in the codex these characters are supposed to dual wield, so why is it I can't get them to equip a second weapon in the offhand slot? And yes, before someone asks the weapons I've tried to slot are offhand weapons.
  13. There could be a variety of reasons. An example might be that you have leveled faster than you have leveled your crafting and want to freeze leveling for a short time until you've caught up. My current reason is that I don't want to gain any levels on my level 60s until I'm ready to start the expansion content. I understand that those who aren't in early access can't gain levels past 61, but I'd prefer to freeze my level at 60 if possible until I'm ready to start the new content. It's actually something that has been requested by some players for a while now. Some MMOs have this feature or in some f2p MMOs they have an object that when you equip it will prevent xp gain. I thought I read something about them adding this feature to swtor, but it's possible I either misunderstood or the person who wrote it was in error. But just in case it has been implemented the question remains. Also if it has, how is it done.
  14. I can't recall exactly but I thought I read somewhere, or perhaps saw it on a stream, that players could choose to freeze xp in KotFE. Am I mistaken or can players actually freeze their xp gain in the expansion?
