  1. This wouldn't be something you "have" to use. As I said, it's there for roleplayers for immersion reasons. If a room is meant to be private or secure in some fashion that not everybody is meant to see, then the doors opening for anybody who happens to stroll on by defeats the point.
  2. Presently one thing that ever so slightly breaks immersion in my strongholds when it comes to the roleplaying factor is that, unless you deliberately place something large enough to block a door that you might otherwise want to be secured or private (i.e. bedrooms, meditation chambers, some sort of command center, etc.) is to have a decoration large enough that bars entry to the room. Not only does this waste hooks but can break a room's look. I would propose a simple change that allows stronghold owners to lock doors and restrict access based on if a person is a keyholder, what level of a key that person has, etc. Here are a few examples: Gold Door - Can be opened only by the stronghold's owner Silver Door - Can be opened by the owner or anybody who has a silver key on their keyring Bronze Door - Can be opened by the owner, any silver keyholder or anybody who has a bronze key on their keyring. Alternatively, we should also be able to lock doors in the open position so that they don't constantly open/close, this would create more of an open feel for highly trafficked rooms and hallways. All this could be done if you're in edit mode of your stronghold. Right now if you click on a door while in edit mode, all you get is the error message stating you cannot open it while in edit mode. Instead, have clicking on the door bring up the option menu for what level of access you want that door to have, whether it be gold, silver, bronze or locked in the open position. Oh and one last thing that is unrelated but could we maybe get a front door on the Nar Shaddaa stronghold? It does look rather silly with there not being one on the very entrance to the sky palace.
  3. Could you please stop having certain items like the little crates that either have a single decoration, or a single GSF unlock, etc. rotating in and out of the store? And for that matter, the cartel packs? There really is no superbly good reason for you to do this, you act like people wouldn't buy them if you didn't dangle them over our heads because you might take them away at any minute. It's one of the biggest turn-offs to this game, tbh.
  4. I understand if you wanted to remove the factions that you gain rep with purely from each set of cartel packs you release, but please keep cartel certificates in? Even without new ones, there are still the old factions to buy things from, as well as the decoration vendor on the fleet who, without an influx of certificates, makes it impossible to ever get more of his stuff.
  5. At the very least certificates need to continue to drop so that we can buy from reps we have, not to mention the decoration vendor on the fleet.
  6. So I've bought two hypercrates, one anarchist and one disavowed, and gotten zero certificates from either one. Are certificates something that they're phasing out or something?
  7. Also make it so that when we put somebody on /ignore, it ignores the player account, not just that individual character. Getting sick and tired of whiny children trying to pick a fight when I get fed up with their crap, /ignore them, and they just switch to a different toon to keep digging at me.
  8. Yeah, that was a HUGE bummer with this expansion. Especially for those of us who took the time and effort to get the outfits for our companions that made them truly our own. Now it's the Clone Wars come early. XD
  9. This isn't necessarily a huge thing but it would be helpful to actually see the size of decorations in strongholds on the hooks where we're thinking of placing them, rather than just a small pic in the preview screen. I myself have been working on getting the imperial fighters for my DK hangar, but it doesn't really show how big they actually are in the preview screen. This is just an example. So, when we're looking through options of what we have or what we want, having the decoration appear as a silhouette on the hook with its opacity toned down so that it's not actually "on" the hook but we can get a more accurate preview of what it looks like, especially when it comes to one we don't have in our collection but are considering buying.
  10. They made him killable by normal means to solve a glitch that was happening where he wouldn't be knocked back by anything; not the grenades or class abilities. So it would cause groups to wipe when technically they'd already beaten Malgus. But as others pointed out, you still can kill him w/ the grenades it's just less practical. By all means, knock yourself out if you want to do it that way.
  11. Long-time player since beta testing (can anybody else remember the memory dump crash issue that didn't exist? lol) took some time off, came back just before 12xp bonus started up. Leveled up my gunslinger for my new main on pub side, now looking for a guild of active, friendly, fun (and nerdy XD) players to RP, PvP, PvE, pretty much everything in the game. I have numerous characters on pub side but we'll start with my main on Ebon Hawk, Olosh. If things turn out well I'll bring in alts then. Side note, guild must have a TS, mumble or ventrilo server, please. Thanks you.
  12. Funny. When I went to dulfy I put in as a search "3.0 operative dps" but that did not pop up.
  13. Yeah where are those guides? Noxxic is a joke, and dulfy's guide is, surprisingly enough? outdated seeing as it's from the last expansion.
  14. Rolling my first ever operative and going with concealment spec. Which crystal should I go with for his weapons, and in the later game, what are my stat priorities?
  15. There's having to try and then there's struggling just to keep up. Right now commandos/mercs are definitely the latter. I love my commando, I really do. But in pvp right now it's something I have to psych myself up for because A) I know I can't compete and B) I know I'm going to be targeted because everybody else knows that I can't compete either. It's brutal and it shouldn't be this bad.
  16. They don't need to introduce "new" classes to the game, just in some expansion add a story option which allows you as a bounty hunter or smuggler (not limiting it to those two, but just naming them because they're the most widely-desired neutral classes) where you can sever your ties and allegiance to the empire/republic and become a truly neutral character.
  17. Yeah I have a stun, a knockback, and a snare on my commando. But the moment I use one the other(s) become useless. Meanwhile, I can get stunned, use my pvp break, and get stunned again immediately after. We're too squishy and too vulnerable. I'm not saying make us tanks but damnit we need to be able to take more damage than we do. I've had assassins/shadows or operatives/scoundrels hit me ONCE and take half my HP. It's ridiculous. On top of that you put CD timers on our heals if we're not healer spec. So there's that as well. FFS give us some more survivability already.
  18. Please add the cosmetics (paint jobs, color modules, engine reactants and gas canisters) to our collections so that we can make copies of them on alts. A lot of them are basically just gone from the GTN now, unless you find the occasional seller who is asking outrageous prices for them. These, along with the grade 7 space equipment you sold for the lvl 50 pve space missions, should be in our collections so that we can unlock and make copies as we need them.
  19. Also World of Warcraft.
  20. I left the game for about five months. Came back and found that surprisingly, nothing new at all for GSF. Any word on when (or if?) we can expect new content?
  21. I'm so sick of seeing otherwise unskilled hacks in GSF just flying around picking up the damage overcharge over and over and over and over and over again in order to boost their damage so they can land some kills, because otherwise they'd just be space dust. Personally, I think all of the boosts should be removed as they all break TDM in their own way, but I'll settle for damage overcharge being gone as it is the single-worst offender in the game.
  22. Already in the game. Introduced in a now-discontinued pack ages ago. So if you want it, hope it's on the GTN and be prepared to crack open your wallet and dig deep.
  23. I didn't say he wasn't that good, I said he wasn't the best, There's a difference. The point is, they learned from the HK-51 unlock and made Treek cheaper, but they never lowered the price on HK, which was idiotic.
  24. @OP: Didn't even bother to read your post. Didn't need to. They don't need to fix the mission for HK, they need to fix the character perk for unlocking him. Treek costs 1m to initially purchase with your first character, and is 300k for the perk afterwards. HK-51 should cost the same as Treek as a perk. Moreover Treek is far more useful since she's a tank or healer whereas HK is only a dps, and he's not even the best dps companion in the game. So the fact that HK costs 1m as a perk to unlock is even more insane by this reasoning.
  25. No, I'm thinking a whole menagerie of different lightsaber colors, as I stated originally. This wouldn't be something for LS or DS. However, if there were LS/DS versions of it, they could (and should) be added to their respective vendors on the fleets.
