  1. So I'm trying to farm these since I can only have 50 of the ones (that look much better imo) from the vendor on Ossus that cost tech fragments, and I've used all those. https://tord.mmo-fashion.com/fire-sconce/ Does anybody happen to know if they drop more often from mobs in a particular sector on Ossus than in others?
  2. So while the mounts look fine as decorations? Just having them be on display only is a bit boring I guess? Why not make them interactive? Set up a mount as a decoration then you or anybody else who comes to your stronghold for a visit can click on it and ride it around so long as they remain in the stronghold? This would be a great way to set up transportation for the larger strongholds like Rishi or Yavin 4 (or maybe Alderaan depending on how big that's going to be, looks pretty big from what I've seen) so that when guests come in they can use the type of transportation that you feel bests matches the atmosphere of the place. For instance while Nar Shaddaa's Sky Palace doesn't necessarily warrant the need for mounts, I would still set up the skiff mounts as a means for people to cruise through its hallways.
  3. I'm not opposed to your solution however I think it's better to keep it simple and just have people pay with credits.
  4. It actually does, it explains how it would keep the overall economy of the game healthy. Though I know economics isn't for everybody so I understand if you don't get it. (Not being condescending in saying so btw,I just know some people roll their eyes at economics)
  5. Because decorations can be worth a lot of money, however if you outright remove any value of them, then it becomes impossible or pointless to sell them for a decent amount of money. And decorations aren't the only things bought and sold on the GTN that are worth a great deal of money. Therefore, they need to retain some level of value to the people who aren't interested in strongholds or decorating them, but instead choose to sell decorations to get things they are interested in outside of that category.
  6. I mean, I don't disagree with you? However there needs to be a balance between buying and selling the decorations and copying them, otherwise it would tank the market value of them. The way I figure it, with the exception of a few of the ultra-sought after decorations that are always 8 figures? This system would make it so that eventually if you copy a decoration enough times then it might prove to be less expensive than buying another one from somebody on the GTN.
  7. The title says it all, let people purchase the decorations already in their collections (with credits, not cartel coins!) so that they don't have to pay ludicrous amounts on the GTN if they're highly sought after and you need many copies of the same decoration. Simple things like lights, chairs, rugs, etc. that you would want multiple copies of shouldn't be so difficult or expensive to obtain. You could operate the system like the outfit designer. Start a a low price and for each copy you make the price goes up in small increments every time.
  8. Don't know why this is, but the decorations bought from the vendor that takes tech fragments now has the decorations capped at either 50 or 99 that you can own. Some of these, like the stone torches, you would want in great numbers quite possibly and the current limitation is just silly. If one is willing to buy these with their tech fragments then they should be allowed to do so. Please bump these up to a cap of 999 like other decorations please, thank you.
  9. This has to do with three decorations in particular: - Scorpion TK Weapon Rack - Weapon Rack: Imperial Display Case - Weapon Rack: Republic Display Case These decorations are limited to a large floor hook but in fact they are not so huge that it truly warrants it? You can't for example put them on the floor on a large hook near a wall and push them so that they're flush up against said wall. They simply aren't big enough to do that. Please change these decorations so that they can also fit on medium and medium narrow floor hooks. They would work much better on one of those. Thank you.
  10. Right, that's how they used to be depicted, but now mousing over it just says +11.41% for example. Should I presume then that the base is 100% and just not shown the way it was, so now I have 111.41% accuracy in this instance?
  11. So the way stats are depicted now are changed from how I remember them. In the case of my arsenal merc, how do I tell if I've reached the soft/hard cap for my accuracy rating is before I can start moving to other stats like power, alacrity, crit, etc.?
  12. What stat priorities should an arsenal or innovative ordinance merc have? I've been away from the game for a long time and I'm just getting caught up and some nice gear for endgame now, so it would be nice to get the stats right.
  13. Speaking solely for myself, but hopefully others feel the same way? Episode 3 of The Mandalorian showed a mandalorian soldier wielding an assault cannon during a fight scene and it reminded me of a sore spot when it comes to SWTOR, and that is weapon restrictions. Honestly I think locking classes to one or two weapon types based solely on their advanced spec needs to go. It's one of the things that's holding this game back and hurting it in more ways than one. Firstly is how some classes should have more options when it comes to weapons. Agents, troopers, bounty hunters, and smugglers in particular are hindered by this. There is really no reason beyond needing to change the coding around to accommodate such a feature. No reason in lore, to be certain. Secondly is the way restrictions hurt the economy of the game. Some weapons are exceptionally valuable like lightsabers because 6 out of the 8 force user classes use them. Dualsabers not so much, they're a much more niche market and unless it's one of the truly rare and/or prized weapons, they're not anywhere near close. And then there's the laughing stock of weapons: sniper rifles and assault cannons. Limited to one advanced spec each they're not worth the starting price suggested by the GTN in a lot of cases. Again, there are exceptions? But few and far between. I know it's more work than just removing the weapon restriction coding. I realize abilities will have to be re-worked, re-styled, and new animations added in etc. but it would be so worth the investment to let players associate themselves by choosing the weapon type they like, not having it chosen for them.
  14. So now that War Hero crystals give mastery, is it generally a good idea to just use those since everybody uses the mastery stat? Or should one still go for hawkeye, eviscerating, etc. based on what your class and spec are?
  15. The NS NL event is great and has tons of gear, mounts, and (of particular importance to me, personally) tons of decorations but the event only comes around once a year and that's a long time to have to wait for these things. It's not really a seasonal event, it's just a trip to the casino. I think BioWare should consider adding it to the rotation of other events that cycle in and out so that it pops in at least once every few months rather than only once a year.
  16. I'm not having a problem acquiring tech fragments from the aforementioned means of pvp and solo flashpoints. If anything I run into difficulty finding things to spend them on.
  17. It's all in the title. Command Caches if they didn't provide upgrades at least provided other things like pieces of armor sets you could use for transmogging or sell on the GTN, scrap, mounts/pets, and companion gifts. Even if the gear was worthless, at least you had a better chance of getting something somewhat useful. Aside from maybe the first five levels of renown? The crates have been useless since. To the point where I haven't even bothered to look at what I get, I just open the box and disintegrate whatever's inside to get the box out of my inventory to keep it from taking up space. I can get better upgrades from warzone/GSF boxes or just farming a flashpoint like Traitor Among the Chiss on solo mode for decorations. Don't take a lesson from the Anthem team on loot, just stick to how things were with command crates. It was a better system.
  18. Thank you that's a big help. I wasn't sure if I screwed something up but I noticed my BH was missing a lot of followers if they were all supposed to be made available to everybody. Helps knowing now that some are still class locked. Much appreciated.
  19. Came back to the game after a year-ish long hiatus and I've been playing catch up and I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing any followers. Are there any that are still missing from the game? Is there a full list of which characters are available? Are some of them locked to the original classes they were part of so only those classes can access them? Any info that could be provided would be a big help, thanks!
  20. I know GSF has a niche audience but the fact that the only way to obtain ships and cosmetics for GSF anymore is a direct purchase through cartel coins. The very least you could do is put them back into cartel packs to be sold to and bought by players amongst themselves, as not everybody has/wants to spend cartel coins the prices you're asking for? Not to mention the ships and cosmetics never go on sale. So the very least you could do is reintroduce GSF items into the wider market through packs so that people can buy them with credits if they so choose.
  21. I'd like to see an ability added for bounty hunters whereby if you're wearing armor that has a jetpack on it you can activate that as your mount rather than something else. The jetpack mounts we have are fine, don't get me wrong? But if you're a BH and you have the rocket boost you see your jets fire up while you're moving faster, and personally every time I've thought to myself, "I wish there was a way to just use the jetpack on my armor as a mount." So how about we make this a thing, yeah? I'd like to point out I'm not trying to play favorites with bounty hunters, here. I'd love to see other class-exclusive abilities and/or mounts added to the game. But BH jetpacks are the only one I could think of for now.
  22. We have the ability to donate copies of our decorations to a guild stronghold or starship, there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to make copies of them for ourselves as well. Some of them, namely ones from the cartel market packs, are quite old and incredibly rare. Rolling your dice on the random decoration loot boxes isn't an appealing proposition either. If you know what you want, you should be able to get what you want. Simple as that. The simplest solution I can think of is this, borrow from your own outfit designer system so that each copy of a decoration you make costs incrementally more credits. So for example, the Imperial Ceiling Light decoration. Highly in demand, and something you'd want a lot of to light up your stronghold with, but not many floating around in circulation anymore and the prices on the GTN for them are so only a very few could afford them anyways. But say you found one and bought it, and wanted to make copies of it. The system could work like this for example: Copy 1 - 10,000 credits Copy 2 - 20,000 credits Copy 3 - 35,000 credits Copy 4 - 50,000 credits Copy 5 - 75,000 credits Copy 6 - 100,000 credits And so on. With this sort of a system in place, you'd give players a means to obtain more copies of a particular decoration they needed from the cartel market without a mind-numbing grind for credits that might burn players out. On the flip side, the increasing price to make copies means that the price of the decorations on the market would drop, yes. But at some point a player is going to find that buying one from the GTN would be less costly than making another copy if they needed it. This would create a balance of allowing players easily access to a cartel market decoration in bulk if needed but not eliminate the need for these decorations to be bought from the cartel market and then sold to other players on the GTN altogether.
  23. Yes I know it's a fool's hope to hope that they'd just go away, especially since this game made them distasteful for me long before SWBF2 was even a thing, let alone the loot box controversy in that game. That doesn't mean they -have- to do away with selling items directly, though.
  24. OK so you know how you have items from the older packs up for sale on the cartel market directly? Keep it that way. Just scrap the packs system because it was gross when you implemented it and it's one of the reasons (I and no doubt many others) get turned off by the game. If Battlefront II showed anything it's that loot crates are not as popular as you might think. Sure people will buy them, but they'd rather just buy the item they want directly. So please, don't end the sale. Just make this system of selling in-game items your normal way of doing things. It's much better, and much friendlier. Even if you keep the packs (which you shouldn't) at least this would let people who prefer not to gamble away their cartel coins and/or credits trying to get particular items.
  25. With mine I've got it set up like nobody flies their ship to my sky palace, they'd land at the spaceport then take a taxi from there to my place. But, that's just me. And it wouldn't be a - huge - thing for them to do, really. Adding door controls like that? Not hard in comparison to other things they work on.
