  1. Very simply, put decoration hooks inside of the player starships, and give us the option of engine color reactants and gas cylinders and paint jobs/styles for the exteriors. I know there wouldn't be tons of room for decorations, but the ships are so bland and they all look the same. Let's make the starships more unique to each player!
  2. The title says it all. I'd like to fill up the hangars with ships beyond the rather stale, blank slate ones you can earn. I want to see "my" ships with "my" upgrades and customizations on them parked in my hangars.
  3. No. The opportunities for harassment and abuse of a system like this would cause more harm for players than it would for providing fun.
  4. The Aurora Cannon in Section X The Alchemy of Evil/Uprooting the Last Seed (Seeker Droid) All The Pieces/Dark Design (Macrobinoculars pt. 1) The Shroud's Last Stand/The Shroud Revealed (Macrobinocular pt. 2) These are heroic 4 missions that need to be redesigned so that 4 people are not required to complete them anymore. Bioware, finding groups sucks. This is why any MMO worth a damn has the LFG system for things like dungeons, raids and pvp. Finding groups yourself is a pain in the ***, especially when it comes to open world things like these. Nothing in the game should be above a heroic 2 basically, as nobody wants to take that much trouble for a simple mission to do 10 - 20 minutes worth of content, with the exception of world bosses. And even then I would argue against it. Grouping for content should be optional and a convenience when it comes to open world, not mandatory and a hinderance as it currently is. Fix these so that they can be soloed by players. PLEASE. Fix these so that we don't need to put groups together for them. And don't add anything else into the game like that ever again.
  5. If you're not adding more slot machines to future packs, then these need to be brought back to the game. I was physically unable to log in while they were being sold for one credit on the binary star realty vendor. I don't see why you make them a "limited time offer" thing if you're not putting anymore slot machine decorations into the game. I'd really like some for my stronghold but you made them BoP and only sold them for a limited time, so being unable to get some for a stupid reason like this? Come on, Bioware. You're better than that.
  6. I was gone from the game at the time when the slot machines were put on the binary star realty vendor for 1 credit a piece (for the record "gone" as in physically unable to play not because I could have logged in but I just didn't) after they weren't available for the packs in time. Bioware will you be adding anymore slot machines in the future? Furthermore, kind of stupid that you screw up the slot machines, then only put them on the vendor for a limited time? Why punish players for your mistake? Granted you sold them to us dirt cheap but just keep them on the vendor if you're not adding anymore into the game!
  7. We need her armor set, and we need powertechs to have blaster rifles.
  8. This needs to happen. Particularly if you're going to remove packs so that we can't extras of ones we might have only one or two of due to rarity/expense to craft. And this is how you sell it to your EA overlords, ok? They love making money off of microtransactions with their other games, right? Well just pitch it as a means to sell more cartel coins. They make more money on coins sales so that people buy the coins to first buy packs, then spend more coins on unlocking decorations from their collections.
  9. Still not giving powertechs the one thing we've been asking for almost since this game came out. It would only effect aesthetics and cause no class imbalances whatsoever: Let. Us. Use. Blaster. RIfles.
  10. OK so if a stack of pub or imp crates costs 400 warzone comms, and the decoration is four crates, why does a single crate cost us 200 comms? Shouldn't it be 100? Come on, BW.
  11. I've made suggestion threads in the past that the effects of inquisitor/consular force-based attacks should be colored/tinted by their choice of lightsaber crystal to add variety.
  12. Some decorations (small ones in particular) have a very low cap on them, currently fifty. Given the number of small hooks and how easily that number can be reached? I feel this number should be raised to the cap of 99, same as Republic and Imperial banners for walls. (why those got such a high number but not lights when obviously we'd use more lights than banners I have no idea.) An example would be in my NS sky palace, I'm using Underworld Light Nodes that you get from the industrial prefab vendor. I put them over the doorways because they look nicer than the basic junker lights, but are relatively easy to obtain given the low cost of crafting rank 1 industrial prefab kits. Putting two over every doorframe, with two on either side of the door, that comes to 46/50 used up just for the upper level, its four side rooms, the two staircases, and the large room at the bottom. I haven't even unlocked the three remaining rooms which cost 1.75m and 2.25mx2, but clearly I won't have enough lights to cover the doors. And before anybody goes saying "well why don't you just use a different decoration?" let me just stop you right there because again, it's about the fact that these are small hook decorations, there are far more small hooks than any other variety in a stronghold, so they get used up the quickest.
  13. I would sign off on this. I would like to add that they should allow players to link their family trees together so that characters married to one another can depict the union and any subsequent "children" characters.
  14. I think we need to separate the legacy names from our last names for characters. This isn't to say that we shouldn't have them as our default names, but perhaps at character creation we could have the option for a last name "if" we don't want them to share the legacy name. After all, it doesn't make sense to have a rival for instance in the family tree having the last name as their adversary, but at the same time it's unfair to have them go without a last name and therefore half an identity. And as an option for characters who already exist, just introduce a last name renaming item that you sell through the cartel market, similar to the changiing character/legacy/guild name items you already sell.
  15. Yeah the pub side version is the same thing as the imp version for Sec X. We can only hope that Bioware (since they're players as well and undoubtedly know these woes from their own experiences with them) has learned or will learn their lesson here. One of the key things about something like group finder is that it takes away the headache of spamming in chat, praying that you can find people for what you're trying to do. You can't really implement a similar system for open world content, so they should just stop it already.
  16. With the coming of Shadow of Revan, could we finally see the difficulty of the ends of these mission chains knocked down to soloable, or at the very least two man groups? It's already annoying as hell to find people willing to do them (particularly the macrobinocular one) but you keep integrating the binocs and seekers into more and more content. This should provide a lesson for you, Bioware. Don't develop crucial, open world content that requires a group but is annoying to the player base. Nobody likes that sort of thing and nobody will want to do it.
  17. There's a pop-up notice to let you know that you've finished. If you're in such a rush that you let your impatience blind you to the fact that you've not finished and gotten your commendations for completion, and you quit the group/exit before you do? Then you deserve to have it happen to you. And FYI? It's the same layout on pub side. Please don't waste our time and the devs' time with things like this just because you're too lazy or stupid to move thirty paces to another room to click a console. And FYI? Assault on Tython isn't the first flashpoint where they've required you to go to a completely different area to finish after the last boss dies. Other flashpoints that fall into this category? - Kaon Under Siege - The Esseles - Black Talon - Czerka Labs - Maelstrom Prison You get the point now, yes? Just don't be lazy, don't be stupid and don't be impatient. Just take the extra ten seconds after getting the loot from last boss to move to the end of the flashpoint.
  18. I would think it would be best with a standard saber in the MH slot, a shorter saber for the OH slot.
  19. I absolutely love GSH content (even if it does constantly sap my credits XD) but the one thing I think we could do to make it even better is this: make our decorations interactive. Don't just have them be pretty, allow us to actually use them! A few examples: - Being able to climb into a kolto tank and be suspended - Sit at computer desks and look like we're using the console - Drive around on speeders/animal mounts that are on display in the stronghold (even if we're visiting somebody else's and it's a speeder that the player doesn't have? So long as they're in the stronghold what's the harm?) - Turrets can be manned and fired All of these suggestions plus numerous others that I didn't list would just make these decorations sooooooooo much more fun to collect and place beyond how good they look. It would also be a tremendous boon to the RP community!
  20. GSF has many, many, MANY problems facing it, far too many to make a list of. But for right now, the devs don't care. They're too focused on Shadow of Revan and they know that GSF needs more work than it's worth so I wouldn't get my hopes up.
  21. I have an imperial alt w/ the DK stronghold, but I don't pvp on him at all (imps tend to be lacking in the brain department when it comes to pvp on my server, unless I'm up against a premade) I'd love to get him the decorations bought with warzone and fleet comms, which obviously can't being on pub side. As an alternative to buying them from players who post them on the GTN, I suggest the following: A vendor on say, NS or Tatooine (you could put him in the Outlaw's Den if the latter) who will sell things from the opposite faction to players, but obviously at a marked up price. For example: Imperial Banner (on imp fleet) - 200 warzone comms Imperial Banner (black market vendor to pub players) - 500 comms With similar markups for other faction-related items.
  22. Anybody who has played GSF and mastered a ship, then gone back to a fresh alt and played stock again knows how much it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks to level up a fighter like that, once you're used to all of the upgrades you have, on top of the fact that even if you're a skilled pilot, it's next to impossible to compete with enemy mastered fighters. My solution? Initially my gut reaction was just to have fighters be account-wide but faction-specific (i.e. no playing pub GSF then upgrading your imp fighters) but obviously that wouldn't be any fun for anybody. So instead, what if you've mastered a ship on another character, you get either a discount on parts and their upgrades, say, 50% so that for example you want to buy light laser cannons on your stock novadive/blackbolt, and you've mastered it on your main. Instead of costing 2k ship requisition it costs 1k, and all of the subsequent upgrade tiers cost 50% as well. Or, just double the rate and bonus cap of requisition earned for any ship you've already mastered on another character? Before mastery the rate is 500 bonus requisition, so double that to 1,000 and double the rate at which we earn requisition as well? I will say that the fleet requisition prices for buying new ships should stay the same, though. Unlocking the ships and crew members you want should remain unchanged, in order to make it feel like something you're earning.
  23. @Verain: Yes I point out bombers and gunships because they require half the skill it takes to be a killing machine in a scout. Strike fighters are just a joke but scouts you at least need to chase down and kill your target. Bombers just hide in the nooks and crannies of sats, poop mines/drones and let the computer controlling those do all the work for them. Gunships are the inverse of the problem because they just snipe you and unless you know your stuff, once they're on you you're going down unless you can evade them or get on top of them in a hurry. They are the source of more than half of all the woes facing GSF because in domination if a bomber or gunship gets on your sat you have to drop whatever you're doing and kill them first otherwise you're screwed. I have NEVER in playing GSF seen a scout cause that same kind of a reaction when attacking a satellite. So please, don't sit there and suggest that they aren't a problem or that everything else you picked apart when quoting myself and others and putting in so much spacing between lines (for whatever stupid reason) that you take up half a page with your own post. GSF is in trouble, I love it, but it's not going to survive with the way it's set up. It needs serious attention and serious overhauling to make it worthwhile for players to enjoy, otherwise it's just going to rot.
  24. Don't lower the search zone radius, lower the cost of the character perk. 1m credits is an awful lot, even for HK.
  25. No the problem is the inability to take mods from a piece of loot you bought/picked up, ripping the armoring out and putting it into a droid piece with mod slots. Mods and enhancements work fine, but the armorings at high end require to be matched to certain slots. And droid parts aren't recognized as helms, gloves, pants, etc. Even though when you open one up you can see the icon for a helm, or gloves, or pants, etc.
