  1. I can't be the only person to have run into this problem but I've run out of things to spend my tech fragments on. I've maxed out the decorations you can buy from Ossus, I have all the mounts and pets you can buy from the fleet, my character is ilvl 306 and I have no alts that I need to gear up. So just raise the cap on decorations bought with tech fragments, the stone torches in particular BADLY need this as a mere 50 of them is pitiful. This would give me (and presumably numerous others) something to buy with tech fragments, as the vendor who is only available on the weekends is very hit or miss with having anything interesting or useful as well.
  2. One of the most irritating hassles when it comes to farming for <insert any item from crew skill missions here> is the constant need to manually reset. I feel like an auto-reset option is needed. Take any given crew skill mission. Let's say, for example, my gunslinger has investigation and I'm after researched compounds or maybe some companion gifts? You could have a button for auto-resetting the mission every time you collect the reward from one. This way it essentially still operates as normal: you can't put a follower out on another mission until you hit the button to accept the reward from the one they just completed. And when you're done and don't need anything more? You just cancel the mission and they come back home. Simple.
  3. That doesn't really solve the issue. The spammers just make new accounts since the game is F2P. Yeah there are limitations on what an F2P account can do, but it only slows them down. It doesn't stop them. Just take away the limit of how many can be ignored, it's the simpler solution compared to going through my ignore list and trying to guess which ones were spambots and which ones were just the regular detestables that inhabit the internet that I chose not to give the bother of paying attention to the verbal sewage they spew in public chat.
  4. Mine is full because I put all the spammers I've encountered on it. Which is indicative of the problem you have, Bioware. So either bring down the hammer on dealing with them (Haha yeah right) or get rid of the limit on how many legacies we can ignore.
  5. I'm not working on any alts (nor do I wish to start a new one) that require gearing and I've maxed out all the decorations I can buy from the vendor on Ossus who takes tech fragments to buy them. Any recommendations as to what to spend them on now or are they essentially worthless in this case?
  6. Torian's armor won't match colors if it's different pieces during the cutscene before "Spirit of Vengeance" when speaking to Shae Vizla. And in the case of helmets that should apply a filter to his voice, it isn't applying either.
  7. Please make using the walker at the beginning optional instead of mandatory. The walkers are not fun. They're slow, underpowered (seriously my hand weapons are more powerful than the artillery this thing sports) and it causes the mission to take twice as long as it otherwise would on foot.
  8. Give us something else. Keep the pvp in there for people who actually like pvp in this game, but give players who don't touch warzones because of it being a toxic cesspit of people who just chase kills and don't play objectives an alternative for recruiting these characters. Recruiting these two are the ones I dread the most whenever the time comes. I want a pve alternative. Don't force people to pvp if they don't like it.
  9. You're not wrong, and yeah from country to country, culture to culture gambling in video games is more taboo in one than another. But by and large so long as no real money is being exchanged for the slot machines or sabacc games then most governments would look at it and go "it's harmless" It's not like FIFA or Overwatch or NBA2K where kids have emptied out their parents' bank accounts on loot boxes.
  10. This doesn't really help with the point that a lot of people will run multiple slot machines because by the time you wait for one machine to spin you could have clicked 3 more to up your chances. The fact remains that there aren't enough machines to meet the demand a lot of time, and you will see people try to steal machines out from other people even if they're already standing at them and using them. A phased instance with enough machines for a group or ops group would solve this problem, would create a more relaxed atmosphere for people who go together and you won't be bothered by others, and wouldn't take all THAT much work on the part of Bioware to set up. You just buy your VIP lounge pass and then go in. Anybody who is grouped with you can join you even if they don't have the pass themselves.
  11. I've never heard of Soovada, and they make no mention of it in game at any point (to my knowledge) during the event. Unlike Life Day there's plenty of tie-ins. So if it is meant to be seasonal for a reason they've done a poor job of illustrating that. That being said, that doesn't negate the fact that these decorations and other items are something that could be used year-round, again, unlike Life Day decorations which are very wintery/Chrismasy and don't really fit after the holiday is over. So personally? I say untie the event from whatever Soovada is supposed to be and add it to the rotation of other week-long events that cycle in and out.
  12. So long as it's strictly with the in-game economy i.e. no real world money changes hands in any way, shape, or form? It shouldn't be a problem. If gambling were such a problem then trust me this event in and of itself would not be occurring.
  13. 1: VIP Lounges --------------------- Private lounges in a phased area so that you can run your slot machines without other people coming along and stealing them from you if they're trying to run multiple machines. These could range in size from something meant to fit a small group of four people or a larger one for entire ops groups of people if you and a bunch of friends/guildmates wanted to just hang out without being bothered. The system for accessing these VIP lounges could operate similar to the ones on the fleets, with a new wristband that players buy to access these phased off areas. The benefit would be only one person would need to buy the band, and then anybody who is grouped with them could join along. 2: Scheduling ------------------ Stop making the NSNL event a once a year thing. It's stupid. I don't get why it's only around once a year. It's not like it's tied to a major holiday like how Life Day is the in game, canon version of Christmas and therefore it makes sense to only be around once a year. Just make NSNL a week long event and add it to the rotation of other events that cycle in and out every other week, so that it goes like this: - BBA - Rakghouls - Gree - Pirate Incursion - Swoop Racing - NSNL If not then at the very least have it come around more than once a year for people. Unlike Life Day/Christmas items which are seasonal and therefore aren't very much in demand once the holiday is over? The armor, weapons, mounts, decorations, pets, and companions earned from NSNL would and are something one would want year-round and so the event should be available more than a few weeks every summer. 3 - Sabacc -------------- This has been asked by players for a looooooooooong time and though personally I don't care about it either way myself? I could see this being added as a sort of "pvp" mode for NSNL. This would give players the opportunity to play against each other and wager their credits or the chips from the casino in a more competitive mode for the event. And, going back to my first point about private lounges? Putting these tables in the VIP lounges would make a great way for players to set up their own tournaments against one another.
  14. It's been a week since the event started. The Emperor's slot machines have been broken since day one. There have been two patches since then. They are STILL broken. I'm not here to chew you out for them being broken still? All I'm saying is because the event got delayed to begin with because you broke BBA and it got pushed back so you could fix that, and now that we've had a full week where nobody could use these slot machines? Two things had better happen and in very short order. 1: The event gets extended to allow us more time since the Emperor's (and occasionally the Kingpin's) slot machines have been broken for 1/4 of the event's duration so far. 2: We'd better get some free chips for the Emperor's machines to compensate for this. Because at this point it's inexcusable. Honestly Bioware, what the hell is wrong with you? Between your displays surrounding Anthem and SWTOR, to my mind you're one step behind Bethesda in terms of your incompetence. And it's not that large of a step, either. Fix this. Now.
  15. @DarkTergon: Regarding your signature? You can fix idiots if you just take the warning labels off of everything. The problem will proceed to sort itself out at that point when they start killing themselves off due to their own stupidity.
  16. So the event's over, it was fun, but now where do we find the vendors for the swoop gangs (Horizon's Razor, Pit Screamers, Blatant Beks)? Checked the bazaar of the fleet, they're not there. Went to Dantooine and found the platform that they were on, but it's empty now. Has anybody else found them and if not? Bioware, you need to put them in so we can access them when the event isn't active, like the vendors for all the other events are.
  17. @StevetheCynic: 1: It's not a distance thing. If I miss I'll loop back around, hit the handbrake so that I'm practically parked next to the damn thing and throw another one and it will still miss. 2: The fact that it is happening with the Bek's bike and ONLY the Bek's bike in my experience tells me that it is most likely something wrong with the Bek's bike. 3: Knowing that they're traps isn't the point, it can still play mine games with you that because it looks like a little gate with two posts on either side that you are meant to drive through it. Not avoid it. It's a poor design and should be re-done. As for your experience with the mines on Dantooine? I haven't had that problem personally, so I can't speak to it. Sounds like your computer/internet connection isn't rendering them in time for you. 4: It's not that I'm missing a checkpoint. And it's not happening on any one world. It is a bug. I run this on multiple characters every day and by this point I'm completing the bonus objectives for both the time trial as well as the vehicle-dependent objectives every time. I'm not messing something up. It's a bug with the race. 5: Didn't know it was marked early on, I don't read the forums that often, so I'm just reporting it for myself for the first time. 6: My editorial is to remind Bioware of their laziness regarding bug fixes both present and past, namely the memory leak that plagued the game in its early days that they first said existed, then said didn't exist, then roughly 18-ish months later on, finally got fixed. Even though it didn't exist, according to them. So I'm going to troll them for lying and acting like we're stupid.
  18. - The Sandcrawler Jump on Tatooine doesn't always jump and you can just fall and get stuck in the mechanical guts of the sandcrawler, costing you precious time that will either cost you the time trial bonus, or force you to restart - Bombs from the Blatant Beks sometimes fail to destroy the piles of explosive canisters, it can take 2 or 3 attempts to destroy the stack sometimes. - The Blatant Beks bike, because of its size, tends to get hung up on little nooks and crannies in the terrain/obstacles that the bikes for the other two gangs won't get stuck on. - (Not really a bug, but including it here anyways) Onderon spike traps need a redesign. They look like something that you're meant to pass through, not avoid. Dantooine's mines and Tatooine's dust storms have it right, they're big and red and swirly and say "DON'T COME NEAR ME" but Onderon's spikes look like they're a little zip booster or something that you're supposed to hit rather than the opposite. - You can hit every checkpoint of the track, complete every objective, every bonus objective, beat the timer, reach the end, and it will say you failed. - (Another suggestion, not a bug) Please stifle B4-N9, I don't need to hear his commentary every five seconds for performing the most mundane actions while racing. It really does get tedious very quickly. - Logging out on one of the pits for the swoop teams (where you pick up the dailies from the terminals/click on the bikes to ride them) will cause you to fall through the platform upon logging back in and in the case of Tatooine, become stuck and unable to get out except using QT to go to the nearest friendly hub, and riding back. - (Another suggestion, not a bug) Land mines on Dantooine should only effect the person who set them off. Don't punish people who didn't screw up just because we happened to be near somebody who did. People are using this as a method of trolling to deliberately ruin peoples' run times I've seen. Given your exceedingly slow rate at which you actually fix bugs that makes snails look like they recklessly endanger the lives of others by going too fast, I expect we'll see fixes for these bugs sometime about two years from now, at best.
  19. The thread title says it plainly. Riding out to the hubs can be tedious if you don't have the items from quests to just take you straight there. Especially since the swoop track course itself obfuscates the terrain in getting there. Just add QT terminals for the event while it's active, please. That way if we go out on one of the little side quests or for whatever reason, we don't have the quest item to transport us straight to the track, we can just QT there if we've been there before.
  20. In my experience it's otherwise. I'll chuck a bomb but not get credit if somebody took it out before me. And it takes more than a few seconds to respawn so if you're right behind somebody then this can really screw you over.
  21. So there's a problem I'm noticing when on the swoop track for the Beks. That is competing with other players to blow things up along the way. While with any other normal daily where you're just running around shooting/stabbing/zapping bad guys, this isn't so much of a problem. But the design of the dailies means that competing with the other players means that if there's somebody ahead of you and they're blowing up the barrels before you can ever get a shot, you're not getting your bonus objectives done. Not without resetting and starting the race alllllllll over again. So maybe tweak this for the Beks so that if you see a pile of explosive barrels, only you are able to target it. Otherwise I'm loving this event. Though I can tell you as well that you need to raise the cap on the commendations from 1,000. I'll have filled that before the week and the event are over.
  22. Every week there's an event with group quests I and many other players go through it. The struggle to find a group of people to complete the group quests that you arbitrarily deem mandatory for our game experience. The part that everybody hates most btw. They're not fun solely because finding the group is the worst part. Just sitting around. Spamming chat "lfg heroics" for 20, 30 minutes. Sometimes longer. If you don't play when the bulk of the player base is online? You're screwed. If you're on the faction that has fewer people playing it (in my server's case that would be pub side)? You're screwed. If your guild isn't helpful or you don't even have a guild? You're screwed. This is to say nothing of course of once you find a group hoping that they're competent and it isn't a wipe-fest that falls apart because people are undergeared or don't know how to play their class or the mechanics of the heroic. Heroic quests shouldn't go away entirely, but they should mandate a group to complete. Whether you're unable to find a group or you just prefer to work on your own, grouping for these sorts of quests should be ENCOURAGED BUT NOT ENFORCED. Just treat these heroics the same way you do the ones that are available all day, every day on the various worlds. Something you can solo if you're geared and know how to play your class, but will give you better rewards if you're grouped up with at least one other person. That way, if you're pressed for time to get them done (especially in the case of events like Pirate Incursion, Rakghoul Outbreak, etc.) and you can't find the people to do it you can still do it for the base reward and if you do group with more people, you can get a higher reward of credits, XP, etc. But don't shove group content down our throats for the open world. That's not fun. It discourages people in a lot of cases.
  23. I love my commando but one of the things that bothers me is how oversized and ridiculous assault cannons look when they're strapped to your back not in combat. Like, "Yeah, there's no way that's going to cause them back problems or to fall over from having so much weight on one side" Could we please get a new cannon or cannons that are about the size of the RH-32/RH-33 Starforged cannons when they're strapped to your back, but when you draw them weapon you see them extend out to a longer length for combat, much like how the Stronghold Defender's assault cannon does?
  24. Due to money and time constraints I was forced to take some time away from the game in previous years. I see there are these dark side and light side banners that were added during some dark vs. light event and are tied to achievements. Is this a recurring event that will come back eventually or was it a one time thing and oh well tough luck I missed out while I was on hiatus?
  25. Of equal importance they need to fix the hooks. Some are bugged, and in other spots it looks like there should be hooks but they're missing.
